This company has ripped off far too many consumers! It's time to take action! I have reported them to every agency I can think of. They have several businesses under their address. Google denimjeanz and their contact information is there. Under the Better Business Bureau you will see all of their scams, I'm sure. On October 14th I purchased 4 pair of True Religion jeans for the amount of $313.66. I received one email from them that they would send a confirmation number in 3 to 5 days, which is how long it takes for your payment to clear. I never received another email after several attempts to contact them, I also called a number that was on my billing statement. To my surprise this number says that mailbox is full and no messages can be left. I now have the real number and address to these thief's and will do whatever it takes to bring them down lawfully! Anyone beware of these Rapists, Thiefs, Scammers! I will always research a company before I purchase anything again, I hope you will do the same! You can report these crooks to the BBB, Federal Trade Commission, Internet CrimeComplaint Center and I'm sure more. I have already made out my reports to these Bureau's.
Do not join Aig Promotions! The only thing you will have is less money in your account. Aig says that you will have access to card readers for businesses to accept Visa or Mastercard and get a percentage of the money from the public using these machines. Wrong you get nothing!
I had ordered a jersey from the website and received an e-mail saying the jersey had shipped: 'I just wanted to let you know that I've shipped your order as detailed below. Shipping takes 2-4 weeks for most places, please read item description for shipping time for your area.'
A receipt was included with item #, description, but the tracking # was left blank. The email message also stated: 'If you do NOT get your item after about 4 weeks please contact me. Please have that order number from my checkout NOT the eBay item number and your first and last name. This info must be at the top of every email so I can help you more quickly.'
Since Soccer4less states shipments typically take 2-4 weeks to ship and they should be contacted if the shipment is not received after that point, I sent an e-mail inquiry. They did respond with 'Hi, i check info this order ship 9/11/2008 so please wait 1 more week if still not receive i can offer re-ship. maybe problem with custom.'
Again, I received nothing. I contacted again receiving this response: 'Hi, here is tracking RB5114501579TH please check and let me know i will check with post office here. if custom reject then i can re-ship order if more than 1 month.' The tracking number was not traceable.
I immediately began contact attempts with this company asking for a reship or a refund. It's been weeks now, and I've heard nothing. I don't want anyone else to lose money from scams such as this, which is why I'm sharing my story. This is the first time I've been scammed from online shopping. I hope that this company can be shut down and fined for fraud.
I purchased a Samsung Messager on Oct 9. The phone wouldn't charge starting on Oct 31 & speakerfone wouldn't work. Neither would mp3 or any other sounds. Cricket replaced the battery and within about 20 minutes the phone became very hot and completely drained the battery. The heat from the battery actually faded the ESN & other info on the tag under the battery.
The manager said that the phone wasn't defective & wouldn't replace it because I had caused the damage, although there was no visible sign of damage other than the minor fading of the tag info under the battery which was caused by the heat. I have never dropped the phone or subjected it to any kind of abuse. To look at the phone it appears to be brand new.
I had to pay $85.00 deductible on my insurance and I will receive a refurbished phone. Quite a price to pay for 3 weeks of service!
Stay away from Cricket!
I stupidly opened an Aspire Visa credit card account in 2004, as I had a bankruptcy in 2001 due to cancer, and I was trying to rebuild my credit. Even then, I knew I would probably regret using this company, and I most definitely do. For the last 4+ years I have maintained 5 credit card accounts with different companies... all in a timely manner. I have never been more than a couple of days late at any time in those 4 years. Literally. Once or twice I went over my limit on one or two cards due to maxing out my card enough that their fees pushed me over the limit. In any case, when this occurred I always sent out a minimum of triple-the-minimum payment due, as I did not want to 'play the game'.
Last June (2008) my Aspire card number was stolen (along with several other Aspire cardholders' numbers) and fraudulently used at a Wal-Mart somewhere in Florida (I live in New England). Aspire did do their job and sent me notification of suspicious usage and put a freeze on my account. Unfortunately that was the last positive thing they did. It has been a nightmare dealing with these people ever since. I did exactly as they told me, which was to keep sending in the minimum amount due to keep my account in good standing. I did. They sent out an affidavit so I could dispute the fraudulent charges, which I received in late June and immediately mailed back to Aspire. It took them over 2 1/2 months to make a decision regarding my affidavit (it went in my favor and they reversed the charges and any accrued fees). Meanwhile, in August I was not able to get payment to them on time as I have been under-employed since last March. I did however give them two payments in September, one in early Sept and one in the third week of September. Also in September, they imposed late fees from August when my card was still in dispute/frozen status, and THAT sent me over my limit. I was, maybe 2 or 3 weeks late getting my August payment to them... the ONLY time I have been that late since opening this card account. The last actual usage of this card by me was in May 2008. At that time my credit limit was at $2300 and I had about $1800 charged up on the card with no cash advances. In June, the card was used illegally, maxing me out. I sent payments to Aspire in June, July, twice in September, once in October. They permanently closed my account the same week I received a new card with a welcome letter. Of course during the course of the last 5-6 months I have called Aspire countless times, pressed dozens of numbers while navigating through their phone menu and spoke to several non-American (India) representatives who were obviously reading script and not quite fluent in English. Had they told me I was maxed out or nearing maxing out even though the card was frozen, I could have paid more per month. In addition, my card was closed the day after I did a pay-by-phone payment that they insisted on, as they had also frozen my online payment access on their (chintzy) web site. I asked for a manager several times, and that 'person' was never available. I was told to expect a call-back from a manager within 24 hours, TWO TIMES over the last 2 weeks, and never did get a call-back. I am through with this horrible company. I sent them payment of $1400 by phone (again) the other day and am paying the remaining balance off over the next two months. Good riddance to this crooked bank. My biggest fear is that because THEY closed my account, they can report me as bad risk even though they received payment in full. After years and years of working so hard to re-establish my credit, they have single-handedly (and unscrupulously) damaged my credit score. And they could care less. I hope they go under!
This Company purposefully delays your order then says your model does not have a warranty. They then attempt to sell the item for more money. My charge to my VISA was $500 more than the agreed upon price. Stay away from these conartists!
I signed up to get some tea fro $2.95 a prompt came on asking if I wanted another type of service I denied the service. I get my statement from the bank I am charged $179.85 for the tea and another $19.95 a month for their service. I called their number they just put me on hold. They are a rip off. I didn't mind spending the $2.95 for the tea, that is reasonable but so far it has cost me $266.80. I had to pay my bank a fee for overdraft because of this. This is not the amount I had agreed upon so it is not the amount I took out of my checkbook register. They are a Rip Off. Don't order herbal tea that help with your metabolism and weight loss. I am on a very limited budget, this has hurt me financially. I will be calling my bank to see if I have any recourse, but I believe I don't. I paid for this with a Debit card, not a charge card, stupid me.
I went to Game Stop website and a $10 coupon came up. A company named Reservations Rewards began charging my account $12 per month after clicking on the coupon. I am almost sure I clicked decline.
I called Reservations Rewards and they are saying they will refund my October money and stop the November payment but we should not have to do this.
Beware... there are many websites with this info coming up.
I am shocked, dismayed and appalled at the treatment I received from night support manager, Bob, this morning. On 10/21, I spent $55.79 in this store. When I got home I realized I was charged full price for tapenade, which was on the clearance rack with a few others (and yes, I did check the tags on the shelf). This morning, 11/2, I made a special trip this morning out of my way--ten miles x 2 = 20 miles--to return it. They had a female at their 'courtesy' desk, who took one look at my receipt and flatly announced, 'We don't do that before 7 am.' I asked for a manager and got Bob. I explained that the customer should not have to be inconvenienced any further when it is a store error. He kept pointing to a yellow sign that says, 'no refunds AFTER 10 pm.' The thing about that sign, though, is that it doesn't say what time they BEGIN doing refunds. I would think that would be up to the manager's discretion, ESPECIALLY since the policy they have posted on their corporate WEBSITE says, 'SATISFACTION GUARANTEED, Our goal is to satisfy our Customers... by Exchange, Refund, or Repair.'
Since I had my receipt, and it clearly was way before 90 days, and it was THEIR EMPLOYEE WHO DID NOT PROPERLY REPROGRAM THEIR SYSTEM, clearly Bob fell down on the job! ESPECIALLY since he was trying to tell me the sign says 'not before 7, ' when anybody who can read at the first-grade level can see it does not say that at ALL; it says 'not after 10 pm.' I pointed out to Bob that there are other stores in the area that I can shop in, such as Winn-Dixie and Publix, and I don't mind paying more for the sake of getting decent customer care. I also pointed out that since it was 6:27, surely he could accommodate me, since I have to be at work at 7 am. Again, he refused to accommodate a loyal customer. As it happens, I am also in the customer care business (actually it's half sales and half customer care.) We have policies and procedures, too, but we also know when the sensible thing to do is to make an exception. I spend about $100 a week between this store and Sarno, and I know that's NOTHING to Wal-Mart. But it is SOMETHING to me. And I can just as well divvy it up between a couple of local produce markets, and buying my soy products at my Church's health food store (again, it costs more there, but the proceeds will go to a Christian school, so that's fine with me). Anything else I need can be readily ;purchased at Publix or Winn-Dixie. Bob won the battle, all right. Him and his little yellow wonder sign. Unfortunately he lost a customer. But like I said--Wal-Mart could care less, right?
I have been a customer with Bank of America since the first time I ever opened a banking account. I have had several issues over the years regarding banking fee's some that were my fault and others that weren't.
I recently had an issue with the bank because one day I was prompted to change my login name & password when I went to get to my online banking. Ever since that day I was having issues when I tried to login where a screen would come up telling me that either my user or password was incorrect which they were not. One night I had made several transactions knowing that there weren't enough funds in my one checking account and that before the deadline I would need to transfer funds in order to avoid any overdraft fees.
Well, when I tried to login to my account that night I received the same error of having an incorrect user name and/or password when I didn't. I tried to login several times that night to no avail. I knew I was going to have a problem so I made sure 1st thing that morning to contact a rep and make them aware of the issue as well as go ahead and transfer the funds I needed to. To make an extremely long and excruciating story short, I received the run around when I contacted customer support. The first rep tried to give excuses like that I shouldn't have used my card if I knew money wasn't in the account and such. Her manager told me he wouldn't give a refund because he couldn't verify that an error had been made by the bank but that if I could in fact verify that an error had been made that he would give a refund. I then spoke with a rep from tech support who verified the error but had been told to still give no refund.
Ok, so I took my evidence and argument to my local banking center and spoke with the VP there. After a long struggle with his superior he refunded 2 of 3 fees that had been charged (bear in mind each fee is $35 and aside from the 3 fees that had posted, 2 transactions were still in pending so those fees didn't hit till later that week.) The bank did this because they could recognize their error but still refused to give me a FULL refund because of it. So, when the 2 other fees hit my account I went back to the same VP (Very nice guy) who pleaded just about (I heard him) with some banking individuals over the phone urging that those fees needed to be refunded as well. They refused!
Get this... I understand that when you screw up with your banking it is your fault, however, and this isn't the first time this has happened to me, but when fees hit because of a banking error the bank states they will refund them. They are full of it though! The issue I had was a bank error and was confirmed to be a bank error by several of the banking staff. Regardless they acted as though some blame should be put on my part and therefore would only give a partial refund so my original BS fees totaling $175 was reduced to a whopping $105. So I was pretty much charged $105 because I was unable to login to my account to cover my ###. How do you like that?!?!?! Even when you are aware of what you need to do to keep from getting his with fees the bank always finds a way to screw you over. Even the VP at the banking center I went to said that it was crap and that he wished he could do something but he just didn't have that kind of authority. He said that the individuals who do have that authority (the millionaires taking my hard earned cash) should have to handle customer service complaints because it really was hard for this guy on a regular basis to pretty much have to tell banking customers that yeah even though this is the banks fault we have the ability to ruin your credit and steal your money and there isn't anything you can do about it.
The bank is one big LIAR. If they say they will give a refund for fees that hit your account due to a bank error then they should. Not give a partial refund and say screw you and HAHA under their breath. As an individual this really hits hard. I live paycheck to paycheck and recently had a baby (now 2 months). I of course never qualified for WIC so even though I am struggling because of the economy I still get no help with having to provide for my son. Now I have to pay the bank $105 to avoid getting a bad rap on my credit report for fees that were caused because of their own error.
This is really unfair. I know I shouldn't have these fees and they know I shouldn't but they are the ones with the power. How F'ed up is that?!?! Someone really needs to take down this corporation and I would love to be the one to do it. You know why?!?! So I can take the money that the bank has stolen from me and many others and use it to start a bank that works for the people. It isn't fair that some jerk gets to sit in his expensive home living off my hard earned cash and others just like me.
I am not a member of Bank of America so I can fork over my cash to them to spend, but so I can responsibly pay my bills and use that cash for the well being of my child. I am really tired of people who like me are getting ripped off for faults that are not there own. Is this the America our founders envisioned? Did they really set up this country so the big man can take more money from the little man.
If you have ever been in my shoes so to speak, then please reply to this report with your own stories of how the bank still charged you fees even after admitting to the fact that those fees were due to a bank error. I believe that if enough people get together with enough substantial evidence that they were charged fees due to a Bank's error that together we can take this monster of a bank down.
As a community we have to say enough is enough and rally together to do something about it. I am confident that if we can then a lawyer will have enough evidence to take this thing to court and fight it. It will be a big gain for our working class community all around this country. And once we've taken down the big guys we can get together and build up a new banking system to change the way things work so that they are fair and just, just as our founding fathers wanted this country to be.
I ordered a 'swiss grade' Chanel watch for $545 and got a piece of junk Beware of FEDEX delivery, they'll take your postal money order before you can inspect the watch, once I realized the watch was garbage I called FEDEX customer service but got no help, I filed a complaint with FEDEX on line and never even got a response. These crooks have the system figured out and by the time you realize you've been taken it's too late
Emails and phone calls are a waste of time, they've been getting away with this for a long time, even after being arrested in Florida for doing the same thing.
Unfortunately I did not do my due diligence and was fooled by their website. This is my first and last time trying to buy a high quality replica, in fact I'm not even sure such a thing exists. Keep your money and avoid Global Replica at all cost.
I have previously posted a complaint re Spyware, Billingsvc.com, it is a staggering number of other complaints re same. It is my belief after reading the similar complaints that the same people responsible for the spyware scam are using other names to accomplish the same rip off.
For example billingonlinesvc.net, spywarebot, vista antivirus 2008 etc etc they all might not be the same person or group but the similarities are highly suspicious and to coincidental. What can be done in my opinion these criminals need to be hunted down and placed in jail, and be held accountable to each of us.
Others have reported that the dollars taken were take from offshore operations which converted the US currency taken to the Eruo Dollar. Those of us with the knowledge of how to catch them and trap them need to organize a plan to effect catch them in the act.
This site does not allow e-mail address to be posted here, perhaps in a response if someone where to leave a web site or other site I will personally
respond.
It will most likely take the efforts of sneaky team work to catch these individuals.
Chinashoesaaa Trade Company - stay away from these online scammers!
I found a charge on my bank card for $12 and immediately had no idea what it was for but it showed as Shoppers Discounts, I then performed and Internet search on the Company and found many other complaints with the same $12 charge on credit cards.
I also saw this website (complaintsboard) has come up with the search on Shoppers Discounts and decided to file a report of my own. At this point I reviewed my previous bank statement and realized this goes all the way back to 9/03/2008! Also when it was deducted from my account, it was overdrawn and I was charged by my bank for an overdraft fee.
Experian and Free Credit Report dot com have conspired to trick people into a so called free credit report. They give you ONE and then you have 7 days to cancel or they start charging your credit card on a monthly basis.
Even though they tell you a number of times that you must cancel, it is very vague and deceptive. Most people forget to cancel within the 7 day trial period and they usually get hit 2 or 3 times before they know what happened.
There needs to be a notification rewired by this kind of trick marketing scheme that your trial period is now over and you are going to be charged if you don't cancel. This is a deceptive trade practice and it needs to stop.
Checked out free credit report online for $1.00 and learned too late it was junk.Couldn't cancel because of no where to go online or no one to talk with regarding cancellation. They charged my check card 2 times resulting in an overdraft on my account and costing me money I don't have.No wonder people have bad credit with companies like this! They Need To Pay!
In searching for a digital camera, I came across a website called everyprice.com that boasted a ' Too good to be true ' price for the camera I was seeking. After placing my order and receiving a confirmation e-mail, I then received a follow up e-mail to call this merchant to verify my order.
When I called it turned out to be a scam. I was told that the camera I purchased only had a 90 day warranty, and would I like to buy an extended warranty. The battery was only good for 15 minutes, would I like to purchase an up grade.
The memory card was only good for a couple pictures and would I like to purchase a high capacity card. When I refused one offer after another, the salesman actually got annoyed and told me I would never find the camera for the price they offered, and then hung up on me.
The following day I did another search for the camera I had in mind and found a website called broadwayphoto.com who also offered the item i was looking for for a very low price. I placed an order and received a confirmation, and low and behold another follow up e-mail to verify!
When I called, it was the same voice from everyprice.com the previous day. I was then subjected to the same barrage of offers, which I also refused. I was told no problem and that my order would be shipped soon.
Well, the next morning I received an e-mail from broadwayphoto that said the camera was on backorder. After suspecting another scam, I decided to phone them. I called their 800 # and told them I was looking at a camera on their website and did they have it in stock. After being placed on hold, the same voice came back and said yes we have it in stock, would you like to order it?
I told him I already had, and was informed that they were on back order. His reply was, ' Oh! you must have ordered the imported model ' That made the scam complete! I then canceled the order! How many other address's do they scam under!
I shipped a case of wine that I purchased in Philadelphia to my home in Florida. I went to a packing supply store and wrapped each bottle with a double packing material the case had cardboard inserts also. I clearly marked 'Glass' on all four sides of the box. I took the box to GO TO Consulting LLC at 4421 Princeton ave, Philadelphia Pa. Who is a FEDEX agent. I paid for FEDEX ground shipping. I returned to Florida and never received my package so I tracked it and it came to somewhere in Florida and was returned back to GO TO Consulting in Philadelphia. I called GO TO and spoke to J Sherman (owner) and he said tie box was damaged and was leaking so he through the entire box in the trash.
I filed a claim with FEDEX and they refused it and said I have to have GO TO and have them file the claim. I sent all the forms and paperwork and GO To filed a claim with FEDEX. After a month or so without hearing from anyone I called GO TO and spoke to J Sherman and he advised me that FEDEX turned down my claim. I paid for FEDEX to ship and handle my box in a reasonable manner and deliver it to me in good condition. In order for FEDEX to destroy all twelve bottles in that securely packed case they would to have tossed it of the roof. I paid $150.00 for the Wine, $22.00 for shipping and $15.00 for packing material. Plus I spent a lot of time filling out forms and received nothing but a runaround from FEDEX GROUND. I will NEVER use them to ship anything.
I have been on the internet looking for a new job. I have been to legitimate sites for companies as well as Career Builder. Then in my inbox what do I find? An email stating my resume meets the qualifications for a position in the data base for Career Network, Inc.
Thanks a lot, I provided them with my resume, including home address, home phone, cell phone and email address. These people even went so far as to send me an additional email stating that my qualifications meet the job requirements and asked for three references. Of course, being excited at the prospect of gainful employment, I send them three references. They even went so far as to contact one of my references for additional information about me. Luckily for me and my reference, the information he was trying to send them would not go through.
I got an LG Dare all but a two months ago and the thing is essentially garbage. I care for my tech gadgets like Mary did the baby Jesus but this thing has fallen apart on its own. I've never dropped it, never even looked at it sideways and the screen has completely crapped out. So when I took it back to the Verizon store where I purchased it, they told me that it was out of the 30 day warranty so I would have to buy a full price, brand new LG Dare if I wanted to keep my contract. And what if I wanted to expire my 2 year contract? A penalty of 200 bucks, the same price of the phone! Whatever you do, I beg you. Do not buy this phone.
In December of 2004 I moved to the UK with my family. I had previously contacted Verizon to ask to continue my service here in England. They informed me that they did not service there so if I sent a copy of my rental agreement from the UK then they would waive the disconnect fee. I did this asked to have the phone disconnected, paid through the date of disconnection (15th December, 2004) and left the country. No further money was taken from our account and six months later we closed it.
Now almost 4 years later a friend informed me that they had received a letter from Nelson, Watson and Associates in Haverhill, MA and they were a collection agency. When I phoned them and explained the situation they told me they could settle for $150 not the $303 they claimed I owed.
Their attitude was so rude and condescending that I was quite offended. When I told the man my address here in England he made fun of the way in which I pronounce the words - sorry about the English accent - and kept speaking over me. I worry that they will harass my friends think that I live there. I had left that address as a forwarding one as I needed to leave something and could not leave an international one.
I attempted to explain that I did not owe that money to which the gentleman refused to listen and said my credit would be ruined. At this point I told him that it did not matter as I did not live there anymore, to which he replied 'They all come back, they always do, and your credit will be ruined.' I could not get them to understand that this was taken care of 4 years ago! They actually hung up on me when he asked me if we dealt in Yen here and I commented that he could not be that stupid!
So I attempted to contact Verizon and have gotten no where. I really do not care about my credit as I have no intention of moving back to the USA at any time. It just really bothers me that it has been 4 years and this should have been taken care of. I feel that the Fair Credit Act has been violated as I have had nothing even though they had my original forwarding address.
My warning is to beware of Verizon, they will continue to squeeze every penny out of you even after you move country! Of course they will not tell you just sell it off to a collection agency. Then the collection agency will employ some half wit who is not very PC to contact whomever they can find to try and scare you into paying.
I will continue to try to sort this out as that is the type of person I am. I will not pay out any moneys that I do not owe so they will not get one penny from me - in any currency!
I checked my account and saw there was money collected in the amount of 29.95 to Fit Factory... I had never even heard of this company... I also ordered the acai berry which was free. All i had to pay was 3.95 for shipping and handling... I still have not received it... it's only 30.00 but I'm a single mom and every penny counts... I'm so upset... and i don't know what to do about this... not to mention that the phone number provided is an invalid number...
This invoice, for the same amount (1, 423.96) as reported in an earlier was for a May 7-8 2009 conference - Retail Technology 2009. What tipped us off was the invoice was just sent to 'Accounts Payable' and did not mention anyone specifically who was planning to attend. Also, we have attended this conference in the past, and have always obtained free access so the fact that we were being asked to pay in advance raised a red flag.
Beware - do not pay this invoice! They are fishing for money paid out by unsuspecting A/P departments.
I requested a dvd to research EBAY selling and the offer said free dvd but have to pay for shipping and handling. They deducted $2.95 for shipping and 7 days later deducted $59.95 from my credit card. I did not authorize this deduction. They sent me a cancellation number but did not credit my account for the $59.95.
In my opinion, this company is conducting scams under several names. I will not be surprised to see another deduction of $59.95 next month which means I will have to cancel my credit card. Someone with money needs to stop this scam.
I answered a radio ad for a 'free' listing of foreclosed homes in my area. The agent said it cost $9.95 for shipping, I had 10 days to cancel or I'd be charged an additional $29.95. I thought he was repeating himself, but now realize he was telling me I was being charged for two different entities - Foreclosure Agency and Foreclosure Finance. Very deceptive script.
I received a small packet in the mail about 9 days later, and after looking at it, decided it was a ripoff and tried to call on the 10th day, a Saturday, and they were not open. When I finally got through to them on Monday, I was told I could cancel but they already charged me the monthly fees and I could not get a refund because I needed to call 'way before the 10 days is up'.
I went online to my credit card statement and found out they charged two $9.95 fees and there were two pending $29.95 charges. My credit card company said there was nothing they could do because I agreed to the terms, but I could file a dispute of charges.
Beware of these scam artists. Total charges for a so called 'free list - $79.80. Now I see that they are part of a larger network of fraudulent entities: Bargain Network, Easy Saver, American Bargain Network, American Leisure, EMI encore Marketing International.
These crooks just rip people off, and change their name and location when things get hot. They never seem to get prosecuted, just a slap on the wrist at the most.
