have had a really bad experience with PHRG...we had new windows installed in 2013 with a lifetime warranty on all windows. About 5-7 years in, several of the windows started to develop a weird film on them that could not be cleaned off. We reported this to PHRG and they started the process to replace those windows, but this happened during covid so there were long delays to replace them because of supply chain delays and issues which is understandable. The customer service could have been better during that time, as they scheduled installs, but did not show up for these installs and they did not call to let us know no one was coming, and also on at least two occasions when they did come to install they had the wrong window size, or forgot to bring one of the windows all together. Ultimately they did replace all of the failed windows. BUT there were several windows that had NOT yet failed at the time of the other replacements, but eventually did, and now we have at least 6 failed windows. PHRG is now telling us that because they changed manufacturers (wonder why!) they cannot honor the lifetime warranty because it was a different manufacturer. So they will replace the windows at $180 a pop. I am well past angry about this...I have seen other customers who have had the same exact problem, and are in the same boat. I have been wondering if we can initiate a class action lawsuit with others, so if you see this and have had the same issue, maybe it's time to really consider that.
If anyone else has this same issue and had the same problem with PHRG and wants to talk about filing a class action lawsuit for them to replace the windows at no charge, I'd love to talk!
Desired outcome: for them to replace the windows that were under lifetime warranty and failed, that's about 8 windows.
