I walked in with my daughter to place a lunch order, and unfortunately, the entire experience was extremely unpleasant.
An employee behind the counter, whose name on the receipt was Carolyn, was chatting with a customer when we arrived. They were telling a story about beating someone up, repeatedly using the F-word and other profanity. Both were laughing, talking, and cussing openly without any concern for the other customers around them. I found the conversation and language very inappropriate for a public business.
When it was our turn to order, my daughter and I placed separate orders. When the employee got to my order, she asked if I wanted to make it a combo. I am hearing impaired, so I said, "What?" Instead of simply repeating herself respectfully, she repeated the question in a loud, snarky, and annoyed tone: "Do you want to make it a combo?" I said that was fine and explained that I don't hear very well.
From the beginning, her attitude was rude and dismissive. She leaned on the counter and rolled her eyes, giving the impression that we had interrupted her previous conversation and that she was bothered to take our order.
When our orders came out, my daughter looked inside the bags to make sure everything was correct. The employee grabbed the bag from her, slid it toward me, and said, "That's yours." My daughter pointed out that there should have been two mashed potatoes instead of fries. The employee responded, "I can't fix it," and then tossed another order of mashed potatoes into the bag.
The entire interaction was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Customers should not be made to feel like an inconvenience, especially after explaining that they have a hearing impairment.
I would like management to take this complaint seriously and address the employee's behavior, attitude, and inappropriate language. Employees should treat customers with courtesy, patience, and professionalism. Customers should also not have to listen to conversations about violence and repeated profanity while placing an order.
I hope management will use this incident as an opportunity to improve customer service and ensure that other customers, particularly those with disabilities, are treated with the respect and patience they deserve.

Desired outcome: Honestly, if she was my employee, I would fire her. She has no business working in customer service.
