Popeyes review: False advertising / bait and switch scam

Big billboard coming into Batesville Arkansas - Popeyes chicken sandwich for $3.99

I pulled in and ordered 2. Total was $9.90.

I was referred to manager when I complained that the total should have been $8.78 b/c advertised price was $3.99

The manager replied "taxes have gone up" I said "No sales tax is still 10%"

SHE ACKNOWLEDGED that they were advertising the $3.99 price on the billboard but continued to reiterate that "taxes have gone up so its now a higher price"

I explained that she is running the classic bait and switch scheme which is false advertising

Desired outcome: 1) Honor the price that YOU are advertising OR face a class action lawsuit from the hapless victims of your scam! OR Educate your ignorant manager about false advertising preying upon the helpless customers that PAY ALL YOUR SALARIES!
