Store manager wendy and assistant julio are the worst creatures not professionals to call them that, I had an appointment to fix a flat tire but they never entered the care until 5 minutes before closing at six pm, even when I had appointment and arrived on time at 4:30 pm. They claimed they can't fix and plug the whole in the tire because it's their store policy if the tire has wear, of course they could have said that an hour and a half earlier when I handed them the car, that we will check first and might not be able to fix it as promised in the appointment. So I could have made it to another shop, since most were closing at six, and originally I told them I can install all 4 new tires if they have time, but both workers are horrific people to let a customer to drive with a flat when all other shops were closing, because plugging the whole was not safe even after I told them I will sign off on any liability they claimed. But letting me drive with a flat was safe and didn't violate their shop policies.
Anyway, needless to say I left at six and found a shop nearby that fixed the tire for half the price they were going to charge me.
Pep boys is one of the worst companies to let people who are rude, dishonest to operate their stores, and lose them a lot of customers,
Go on yelp too and see their reviews, their corporate office have known for a long time with all the complaints but do nothing, I filed a complaint too, but all they do they generate an ai stupid response about sorry for the bad experience you had email us.
Recommendation: please stay away and don't get humiliated and insulted by their terrible front desk pepole and store manager,
