Anyone that believes that PCH is not SPAM is either ignorant or incapable of human thought.

A few comments about the comments: (1) Get rid of spam by researching the info in the header, often hidden, and complain to their 'abuse' email address for their server. Their server will shut them down if they get complaints. Of course, the spammer will find another server, but it makes their job harder when they have to keep re-establishing themselves. (2) Don't give your email and address information anywhere (like the people who commented here)

THE BEST WAY TO DEAL WITH THESE BIG COMPANIES THAT CUSTOMERS DON'T MEAN NOTHING TO IS TO PLAY THEIR GAME BY REPORT THEM TO THE BBB OVER &OVER EXPOSE THEM WITH MEDIA LIKE YOU TUBE FACE BOOK AS FOR WALMART LOOK UP COMPLAINTS AGAINIST WALMART & YOU WILL FIND ALOT OF DIRT ON WALMART LOOK UP THE LINK WERE IT SAYS MY DAUGHTER SAYS I SHOULD STILL SUE & YOU WILL FIND THE WAY WALMART COLORS REALLY ARE.MY STORY IS THE ONE FROM FLORIDA .YOU WILL ALSO FIND OUT THAT CUSTOMERS MEAN NOTHING TO WALMART SEE IT GOES WAY PAST JUST WALMART SURVEYS.YOU WILL FIND OUT THAT WALMART BRAGS ON HOW THEY GET AWAY WITH HURTING CUSTOMERS AND THEIR EMPLOYEES TOO AND HOW NO ONE COULD TAKE THEM DOWN YOU WILL ALSO FIND OUT ABOUT HOW EVERYTHING THEY SELL IS RECALL ITEMS AND HOW THEY CHANGE OVER SEA ITEMS FORMS SO NO ONE WILL KNOW THAT THEY OR CHRILDREN COULD GET SERVALLY HURT OR BECOME DEASED.WHICH MAKES THE PCH COMPLAINTS LOOK LIKE NOTHING .PEOPLE HAVE MORE OF A CHANCE WINNING MILLIONS PLAYING QUICK PICK LOTTERIES BEFORE THEY WILL HAVE A CHANCE IN WINNING PCH LOTTERY READ THE COMMENT SPOT ON THE PCH SITE WERE IT SAYS WHAT IF THE WINNER ISN'T HOME LINK YOU WILL FIND OUT THAT THEIR SITE CONTAINS ALOT OF GREEDY DESPERATE PEOPLE AND THAT IS HOW THEY GET WAY WITH BEING SO BIG AND SUCKING IN PEOPLE HOPE PEOPLE BAN TOGETHER AND TAKE THEM DOWN!JUST DON'T SHOP AT PCH OR WALMART AT ALL SEND ALL EMAILS TO THE SPOT MARK AS PHISING SCAM.REMEMBER THEIR ATTITUDED IS THAT SO WHAT IF WE LOSE CUSTOMERS THERE WILL BE OTHER MORE SUCKERS COMING IN REPLACE OF THEM

My name is Andre Harris, I reside at 244 Jones Rd, in Ringgold, Ga. Two days ago I participated in a survey to win a 1000 dollar gift card from walmart. I was told that I would receive a conformation email that it was being shipped via Fedex. I have yet to receive this conformation or the gift card. I feel it was wrong to be lead to believe that I would receive this gift card if I purchased items with my credit card.

I'm Edgardo Cruz. I have been a pch customer for long. I have made nice search on the site and still didn't win. What do I have to search for in order to receive entries for 5, 000.00 or millions. Why is this site so difficult

One of the most sure-fire ways *not* to end up on these oft-traded and oft-sold "mailing lists" is to ignore them completely. Don't get me wrong - I know how annoying they can get, and I deal with upwards of 150-200 spam messages every day but there are ways of reducing the number you are exposed to.

First - use an email client that automatically "detects" junk and spam mail. I use Thunderbird, myself, simply because it allows me to "train" it to decipher which mail is junk and which is legitimate or from companies I *want* to receive ads from. Out of those 150-200 spam messages I mentioned earlier, most of it (at least 95%) is caught and filed in a junk-mail folder before it even has a chance to offend my eyes. Sometimes the odd one slips through, but simply clicking on a "Junk" icon tells the email client not to display it next time a similar email comes through.

Second - never, EVER, click on an "opt-out" link in a spam message or otherwise request removal from a list. This will only tell the spammers that their "marketing efforts" are actually hitting their target: a live, valid, and frequented email address - and they will continue to send you messages and/or sell your info to other spammers. If you simply ignore the message and delete/mark-as-junk, these spammers will eventually figure the email address is invalid and a waste of time to send to, and eventually your email address will be pruned from lists being circulated.

Third - if you have a habit of leaving - or essentially have to leave - your email address on a forum message, a comment board, or any other social-networking medium that displays your email address as it needs to be written for a message to be sent (your_name@your_isp.com, for example) in the main "text areas" of where it is submitted, replace the @ symbol with _AT_ and the "." with _DOT_ (for example: your_name _AT_ your_isp _DOT_ com)... This will prevent automated "email harvesters" form recognizing it as an email address and collecting it - definitely a good habit to get into if you want to reduce the number of unsolicited emails you receive. If you have to submit your email address on a form, ensure that it does not wind up being displayed in basic text after you hit the submit button.

These are just a few tips, and while they won't stop ALL of the junk mail you could get, they could help drastically reduce the number of spam mails you'll be subjected to. ;-)
