Opodo review: Flight Refunds

I have tried contacting Opodo on several occasions and did speak to an advisor on one occasion to be told that I wasnt entitled to a refund despite confirming that Easyjet had cancelled our flights for 3 May for me and my family. She told me Easyjet were only offering vouchers so that was my only alternative. I explained that Easyjet had annouced they were giving refunds but because they were my agent the request had to come from them. She said they couldn't do that and I had to accept the vouchers. Again I explained that this was a family holiday and very unlikely we could all get together again as both my son and daughter were in the services and couldnt guarantee holiday times. She said i could try Easyjet myself, which was absolutely unacceptable as they were my agent and the responsibility should lie with them. I then decided i wold try contacting Easyjet but never managed to get through to their customer service centre so completed an online refund request. Despite getting a bounce back email to say it will be processed within 28 days no further communication has ever been received, despite spending a great deal of time trying to call again. I am at my whits end as neither party are willing to help. I am disgusted that two large corporations are allowed to continue in this way and continuing to trade.
