    I installed the new updated firmware V 30.033 through NSU into my Nokia N96 after which my phone`s camera is not working, while it functioned perfectly well in the old firmware. Whenever I press the camera button it gives the message "Camera Feature not supported" and the phone hanges up until restarted. I hard formatted my phone but of no use. I would be grateful if you suggest a solution to my problem.

Dear Sir,
This is to bring to you kind attention, problem which I have been facing problem last 15 days. I purchased a NOKIA 3110c (IMEI NO. [protected]) cell phone on 4th November 2008 which started giving problems on 29.12.2008 when put to charge. The Nokia Care Center Dhanbad returned the phone on 30.12.2008 saying that there was a minor software problem. However, on 04.01.2009 I started facing the same problem again and thus sent it to Nokia Care Center Dhanbad again. This time the phone was sent to Calcutta by them and on 09.01.2008 I am being informed that the phone has a liquid lock problem for which some charges would be taken. The phone is in the warranty period but both the Nokia Care Centers are giving me different answers for the same problem. Even Nokia Customer Care has been unable to solve the problem and are not giving proper solutions.

I thus humbly request you to kindly look into the problem and help/ suggest solving it at the earliest.

I sent my nokia N73 in for repairs in October 2008 at Nokia Care Centre Gateway it was given back to me within 3 Days, about 3 weeks later the phone started giving me problems again (faulty joystick) i thereafter complained and took it back to the store after i had received a call saying i should bring the phone back because of my complaint, i took my phone to the store on 5th Decemeber 2008, it has now been over a month and everytime i enquire about my phone im being told to wait, sms a number, call the nokia centre in jhb or wait for an sms to fetch my phone, the nokia centre in Gateway seems to have no customer service skills or ethics.they refuse to help me and dont want to tell me anything about my phone which i specified is used for business purposes. i think that they should be trained to help the customers, after all it is there fault that the phone wasnt fixed the first time around.

I have booked my nokia 6620c in shortly after it was purchased/delivered by mtn. Mtn did not offer help & sent me directly to nokia care gateway. The staff are incompetent & cannot answer questions — - or trcak a repair.
Phone booked in oct '08 & to date i'm am without a phone.
The service is disgusting as nicole from the gateway branch threatened to have me removed from the strore. They tried to get me to take a refurbished phone & insisted that his is my phone — - certainly did not match my imei no. All they do is lie & continue to lie. I got hold of larissa in jhb. Wasted alot of time here to. No sealed commercial pack couried dircetly to me. Don't want to deal with them anymore— suffered enough humiliation.

    I have been waiting for my phone for about 4 weeks now
    I was told that it would take approx 2 - 3 weeks for it to be repaired however to my amazement, they are still awaiting a spare. I call the branch at gateway and they tell me that they cannot handle telephonic queries. Where do you ever hear of that.

    I am frustrated and disgusted at this service!!!
    No help has been received to date with my numerous calls and sms's

    I took my brand new Nokia E 63 to this shop and they told me I needed a software update.After 3 weeks it was still not sorted out.I was so frustrated by the staff's incompetence that I threw the phone on the ground inside the shop and tramped on it.There was not one satisfied customer in that shop in all the time I spend there.I went and bought a Blackberry.Nokia Care Gateway should not be in business.

    Cellphone required a software repair on Job no.31347 .The phone (unit) was switched with a cellphone (unit)belonging to another customer, but the person who made the switch did not ensure all the information of his customer had been removed. Also he/she was unable to change the IMEI number on the Job Order forms. When the cell(unit) was handed-in for repairs the IMEI NO. 35939-00030-06121, AFTER PAY R650, 00 for repairs the nokia 6131 issued & had a new IMEI NO.35225-70142-25726. Also noted an item attached to the phone had re-attached to the strangers cellphone(unit).

Resolved spoil my phone & refuse to fix

i purchased nokia 6120classic saudi arabia 1 month ago with I2 international garanytee
the phone has a manfacture problem it becomes very hot when you speak over 4-5 minutes when i contact customer support they advise i should send the phone into customer service & this problem will be fixed, ,
i did as advise
go to customer service give the phone to Mrs reham ibrahim in the reciption which open the phone infront of me i shouted her but she advise that they behave like this in all phones recieved for for repairing or fixing after 2 days i go to ask about my phone but she reply that the compony refuse to fix it as it opened out side the company
plz note i did not open or try to fix it out side the company but she did & open the phone infront of me
plz take appropiate action or I will upgrade my complain

    Brought to you by Doctor Ashraf Mounir Helal Consultant Cardiology in Nasr City Hospital for health insurance. And this because I, m harmed from I2 company in Egypt that is responsible for insuring mobile Nokia. The details as following:-
    I bought my daughter a mobile brand Nokia 7310 supernova from B-Tech company Cairo Egypt in nasr city on 7-7-2008 and ensured by I2 company, coasting 1250 LE. I have chosen Nokia & I2 despite the increase in the price of this group from others in order to real guarantee - as it is written in Security card - that for life and that in the first year free of charge
    The device showed defects in memory and the lack of response to orders and disadvantages of keyboard, I have a request in the I2 Elebour branch, the employee received the appropriate voucher EO000004556390 held on 26-1-2009 and the initial diagnosis was incorrect SW functionality, two days after that we received SMS to go to the company in order to pay 50 pounds and for signing a report of reformation and as I went to ask about it as it is still in the guarantee time, so the responsible officer told me that it is misuse so I asked him to explain this as its formality is not harmed and part of its functions is working well – so he brought me the device opened and pointed to a small piece inside called IC, he told me its half is uncovered with isolated material, and that is why it is damaged. I told him that it is an internal defect and the internal affairs did not extend to any foreign hands, and there was no attempt to open it and he accepted me, so I asked him to explain the misuse in this situation without affecting the external screen??, So it is Poor manufacturing because the possible reason is that the internal components may be hot which causes melting of this isolating material .
    The discussion have longed and found it wastes time and the employee enter into without Convince, so to save my time I paid the amount of fifty pounds and bought the time and here came a second surprise, that I will not pay anything now and he gave me an Adoption of Certified to approve opening the device (already opened) and try to repair it by the company, noted that this could lead to damaging the whole device without any compensation .I tried to explain to the employee that this is wrong, but no response he told me that it is a formal procedure to be able to open the device so I was forced to sign it because it was my only solution and I cant reform it in other place, and lose my rights.
    When I returned to ask about the device there was the third surprise – that the device cannot be repaired and you should receive the dead body and I think that they will ask for the charges -of the murder- their attempt to repair it.
    Dear, thanks for your efforts in preserving the rights of the consumer and I hope your work for returning my rights to reform the device or compensate it with another one as it is provided in the guarantee thank you very much.

    i get a Nokia 535 phone on December 26 2014 & i got it from the agent in Egypt RAYA & also i get insurance on it
    this is my six purchase for Nokia Phones for me & my Family
    we have two Nokia Lumia 1320 & two Nokia Lumia 520 & two Microsoft Lumia 535
    after three weeks the screen goes black & not working so i went to the Raya (Nokia Care Office)
    they take my phone on January 14, 2015 by reset no 1916406 & they told me it will take one week as max.
    i told them it is a brand new phone & not exceed one month so you have to replace it into warranty or insurance but they said we can't change it but we will fix it.
    anyway i left the phone for them & it is now more than 10 days & nothing happened & when i called them they said we are sorry we don't have the spare part now so you have to wait for one or two weeks again until we fix it but you can have a temporary phone now to use it till we fix it & i refuse it totally because i can't use any other phone & put my data on it & then i give it back to them (where is my privacy for my data) also i may travel outside Egypt in the next week for more than a month so when they ask me to pick my phone & give them back the temp. phone i will not be in Egypt to do that.
    what i am wandering about is that is logical to have such a problem with a phone doesn't reach of one month purchase ?
    is that the policy of Raya (Nokia Care Center in Egypt) because if it is the way with them then i have to choose another brand & switch all my family phones to it.

    really i am disappointed from the way of service & i need someone from Nokia or Microsoft to answer me if this the policy of them then we have to go for another companies to use their products.

Resolved worst service ever!!!

I have bought a NOKIA 7210 as a gift to my little sister since 281008 and after only three days the screen started to go up and down and shaking like hell!! in addition, i found out that the speaker is not properly working so, when I got my self free I went to the same shop which is located in Dubai in Al Ghurair Shopping Mal " APREC MOBILE " on 22/11/08 and the same sales person said to me " well…. This is your fault and you were supposed to deliver the mobile within three days, if you did so, we would have replaced it with a new one " and I informed the guy that you have not informed me in any way and there is nothing mentioned in the booklets….!!!

He said, well…. This is well known in the world! I was like.. no…!! The well known is 30 days (for refund or exchange)

Anyway, he promised to fix it within a max a week and I left home.



A week later, I called the guy and he recognized me because I am from the same nationality I guess… and said: Well I don't have any idea about your phone and I will have to check with the service center & I will call you right away…

He did not call back for 2 days!!

I called back the shop and he said… well… your phone is still in the Service Center because it has a SERIOUS ISSUE >!?>

I said to him, no way.. this is a new mobile and you told me this might be a software issue only.. he said..well..I will call you tom for sure

Of course he did not call me back.


Next day, when he did not call… I called the shop again and a lady picked up and when I identified my self.. she was like… we are calling the Service Center on daily basis!!! And she was really defensive!! and I said to her, May I speak to the guy…. She said.. ok…
When he was on the phone, I said to him, listen up… I am fed up with your false promises and really sick of your liars.. when I am going to get my phone back?!!?! He said…. Please respect me and keep on the respect limits, so I answered him back, well.. if you were respecting you're word I would not be that upset and would not be calling your shop to follow up which is not my job to do!!!
He said.. ok, I will call you tom…of course he did not.

So I started to call the Service Center 800 4402 it self and the worse become, , ,

I have spoken with Shyla, Service Manager of Nokia " Mohammed " Service Manager of Ericson " Ashraf " and as the end I was promised that I will be contacted by the manager Ms. Rana and I never heard a word from those liars. At this stage, I was asking Mohammed & Ashraf for a new mobile because I have faced the worst service ever and I got a broken mobile from their shop, and they said they will raise this issue to the concerned people in Nokia and I never heard anything!!!

So, I called Nokia, and told my story last week and promised to call me back within 2 days, and no one called.


I called Aptc center, and that Shyla said in a very simple way… Madam, your mobile is in the shop since 2 days!!!

To be honest, I never saw my self Mad like that and all the evil in the ward was in me at that moment!! Why they did not call me? Why they are fooling me? Why they are promising with the best and the worst is being giving?!!?!??!?!?!?!!?!

I said clearly in Arabic and English, I want a new mobile and I do not want this to be fixed!!! Is this so difficult to understand?!?!?!?!

So, I called Nokia again last Thursday and I was promised AGAIN with the best service and they begged me to trust them and at the end….. I did not receive a call ..

So, I was provided with the WORST SERVICE EVER BY NOKIA SERVICE CENTER AND APTEC MOBILES MANAGEMENT.

    I completely agree with the above customer's complain. I bought a Nokia N81 from Alghurair Aptec mobile shop and while selling the salesman was very sweet indeed and a good talker who talked me into buying this phone. Since I was quite excited on buying a Nseries slide phone, I took it home and read all the specifications and did not use the phone or unpack it until 2 days. On the 2nd day, I charged it and very carefully started using it. However, when I wanted to send sms, I noticed that the slider was lose and also the back cover was making a sound as if it was not firm. I took it to Aptec mobiles after 1 week as I was busy in the office. When I went to them they said that they would send it to their service center in Oud Metha road and it would take 2 weeks to fix it minimum. When I told him to give me a new phone, he said the same story that i should have brought it back within 3 days. How would I know that unless somebody told me this or unless it is printed somewhere?????? The manager of the shop told me that all Nokia slide phones were loose and no need to worry. I also told them to show me a new phone and it was very firm, so my phone was indeed faulty. I then took the phone to Oud Metha service center myself and they said they would keep it for 2 weeks. After pleading with them they said that it would take one week. After calling them again and again, I finally complaint to their oversees toll free number and the guy told me that if it is not fixed in a day or two, I should contact him again. I went to Oud Metha and the lady there told me that my phone was repaired. however, when I checked it is still loose, I as so fed up that I just took the phone and came home.
    Please never buy your phone from Aptec mobile. They are totally useless, their customer service personnel are also useless and their salesmen are hopeless.

    I am another extremely disappointed customer of Aptec mobiles in Dubai, UAE.

    I purchased a mobile phone (Nokia N73), with a five year warranty agreement from Aptec on 26 Sep 2006. I began facing some issues with the phone, which are fixed free of charge under the warranty period. When I took me phone to Aptec, they said my warranty has expired, since my phone was purchased over an year ago and all five-year warranties issued in the past no longer apply!

    I will re-attempt to get the issue resolved. If it doesn't work out, I inted to seek legal assistance, since I have a 5 year warranty card issued and sealed by Aptec.

I bought a brand new phone in April at one of your retail shops(Foschini) in April 2008.To date it has been fixed 4 times due to software failure, battery not charging, cracked scroll bar and phone freezing. The first time it was all the above mentioned problems, second time it was the battery not charging, the third time it was the software and cracked scroll and this time it is the cracked scroller . I have to be without the phone when the phone is repaired and the third time they fixed my phone they said I’m gonna get a loan phone to my surprise when I get there they tell me only people with contract phones receive loan phones meanwhile I was told by someone in your HVRC that if I go to a walk in centre(Cherry Lane) I will get a phone. I was not happy but then I lived with it. I was told my phone was gonna be exchanged as it was fixed more that once but to my surprise I get a call to say I should come and collect my phone. I drive all the was from Midrand to Brooklyn (Cherry Lane ) and I get the same phone and was told that my phone doesn’t qualify to be exchanged. I bought this phone for R3200+ cash and I expected a phone that meets the price but clearly it doesn’t.

I called in the HVRC on the 17th November 2008 regarding the cracked scroller and that my phone is freezing and was told that I should bring in the phone again for repairs, this is totally unacceptable as I am frustrated because I’m not getting the service that I deserve especially from a service provider this big. I took in the phone for the 5th time on the 04th December and I got a response saying that they are looking at the phone and will see if it qualifies to be exchanged or to be repaired.How can they even think of fixing the same phone which is only 7 months old 5 times.

If I cannot get an exchange on this phone or a phone that is worth what I paid for then I need my money back so I can get a phone that will not give me any problems and that I can rely on. I need urgent feedback regarding this matter as I cannot accept this anymore .

    I have exact problem my phone is currently with my supplier i bought it may last year its keeps freezing, now has cracked scroll bar and worse the dealer looks as if he is not straight beside getting one year warranty
    this phone is not worth its price

    This is not comforting at all!!! I bought my phone less than a month ago for R4000, 00 at vodashop and now all off a sudden(which is way to soon)when i slide to open the phone i get a white screen for atleast 5 seconds and my camera does not want to work.It keeps showing "camera on standby" and to top it off i'm also experiencing black lines across the screen.I have tried to reset the settings but it does not work!Im frustrated by this!When calling Vodashop i was told that they will send it away for repairs and it would take 3-4 weeks!What am i suppose to do without a phone in the meantime?I have always just had a nokia handset but this sucks and i'm appalled by nokia's handsets nowadays!
