NetSpend money transfer fraud

I logged into my account today and noticed my paycheck total over 600.00$ IS now missing it says there was a money transfer from myself to myself? I filed a dispute with netspend but I can't wait 10 days I need provisional credit asap! Or I am going to be evicted no one seems to give a s**t! Please someone help me and speed up this process and find out where my money went to?

NetSpend im disputing a transaction that have on june 2, 2018

I tried to make a purchase and card got decline. I know i had money in my account from my last ATM receeipt. I call netspend to check my balance and fought out my card was blocked. i fought this on june 4, 2018. this is the second time my acoount got block in like a 2 months span. it was a purchase on line. I would like this tobe resolve soon i need my money. thank you

I made a dispute on my account some one got on my account and transferred money of a total over 600.00$ the records says money was transferred from myself to myself? I am being evicted now cause my paycheck was stolen! I need provisional credit asap! This all happened today June 8th 2018. 10 days to investigate is unacceptable! Netspend is FDIC correct? This company is horrible. I have been a loyal premium customer for years with no issues. Then my debit card was 'skimmed' which resulted in $1,400.00 of fraudulent charges. Submitted walmart statement finding breaching device, police report and they closed the case with no errors. They will not keep my money - I am speaking w an attorney tuesday-this company has done this to customers way to long!!

NetSpend net spend debit card.

I purchased a net spend debit card and loaded $200 onto it. Net spend told me that there was an "indescrepancy in my information" but couldn't tell me what it was, and that in order to validate the card for online purchases I'd have to send a copy of my social security card IN THE MAIL! What company IN THEIR RIGHT MIND would ask someone to do that?! When I asked if I could get the cash back from the card, she (Marlet) said Netspend could send me a check. What good is that to me without a checking account?! If I try to cash it, a check cashing place will take at least 10 percent! Now the best they could do was turn it into a gift card which limits me to spending the money from the card in a physical store - which I DON'T NEED! Also, Marlet switched it to a gift card before I even asked her to, making it so that I can't activate it as anything else even if I wanted to. This business is terrible. Probably because like every OTHER bad business, they outsource their customer service branch to a bunch of people who don't care a snit for the business they represent.

NetSpend customer service

ok so i travel to florida to help my mom who is sick i leave my brinks netspend card with my husband becuase my income is directly deposited and bills need to be paid while down here i purchased a netspend prepaid card from dollar general on the advice of netspend to tranfer money from one account to the other quickly and easlily and it was but just as easily as it did register the new card i was locked out i have sent id, mail, school records, insurance fishing licence, medical bill light bill everything but 401k and was told 4-6 hours it has now been 24 and they are denying my proof of address how can you say my drivers licence approved social security apporved but mail not like do you you really think im stealling from myself with same address info everything im too far away from home to be dealing with this and with no money i have been a loyal brinks customer for 7 years im livid right now and customer service keeps hanging up on me instead of tranfering me to supervisor

NetSpend prepaid card

Netspend is a complete scam! I purchased a card and deposited my money over a year ago, and have not yet been able to activate my card or access my money. They put a hold on my card and referred me to the fraud department, and every attempt to appease the overseas idiots has been unsuccessful. They don't want to talk to you, or even listen to you, and definitely don't want to work with you to resolve any issues. Netspend has effectively stolen my money, and I don't know if i'll ever get my $500 back. The security protocols seem to be intended to prevent people from using the card, undoubtedly so they can steal all your money in "fees" over time. They are basically crooks and thieves engaged in racketeering, and my only hope is some eager attorney sees the potential opportunity of initiating a class action lawsuit against this criminal enterprise. It may be the only way I ever see a dime of the hard earned cash I turned over to these bloodsuckers. Stay away from netspend!

NetSpend netspend business

May 3rd 2018,
Yesterday I received my Netspend Business card. I called to activate the card as my account had been locked. Apparently, Netspend Business and vpn services are not compatible. Because I had used vpn while logging into my Netspend account, my account was locked. It is almost a certainty that Netspend as company uses vpn for security purposes. Is it not fair to say that the customer may want the same benefits? I was willing to try work with that limitation as I like the idea of a prepaid business card. Unfortunately, humans are often creatures of habit. I attempted to sign in while connected to vpn, and I my account was again locked.
I called this morning to have my account unlocked. The service agent referred me to the risk department. After being on hold for 25 minutes, I decided the situation was not acceptable. I disconnected the call then called back to have my account closed. The first agent I spoke to canceled the card. How could the service agent cancel my card if my account was locked? After all, did I not need to be vetted by the risk department? The agent expressed no empathy or concern for Netspend Businesses new customer. I did not believe my card had been canceled; because I did not recall the agent asking any vetting questions. I assumed she did not even access the account. I called back several times. I would ask the agent to cancel my account. Except for a few, all agents agreed to cancel the account without vetting the call through risk management. What a horrible experience!

NetSpend service

I decided to withdraw my money from a suntrust atm and ended up with $243.50 subtracted from my account. Yeah, that's whats suppose to happen right! The atm did not give me any money, at all! It was 530-600pm and the bank was closed. I contacted the suntrust bank that next morning and spoke with manager (savannah, ga location) and was told there was nothing they could do because I didn't have a account with them. Thats when I filed a dispute on the withdraw of $243.50. The date was march 27th 2018 and its now april 12, 2018 and I still haven't received my money that was "stolen" from me. Netspend is saying they wont have a update or any info until april 25th. Wtf bruh? What is my rent or groceries going to be given to me too? No?! I didn't think so... See you'd think that having a receipt from the bank stating "contact bank", would be plenty evidence enough. Plus, there are cameras on a atm, so they can pull those an see the entire transaction. Well about a week ago I contacted netspend to see if there was anything at all I could do to help speed up the process. The lady says no and you wont know anything on this issue until they contact you around april 25th. So I got a little frantic and [censor]y with lady an clearly spoke my mind on the situation. Thats when the netspend customer service rep has the nerve to "there is no guarantee you will get that money back and you wont know anything until the 25th... Wow thats a lot of money to just have taken from you at the press of a button. Now i'm stuck with no money and a terrible excuse for a bank (metabank) which is netspends bank. Never again will I use netspend or suntrust..

NetSpend account blocked

Have been using Netspend card for my direct deposit at work since December 2016. I had no issues at all, payroll always there before the actual check date. So when I had to stop working due to fighting pancreatic cancer and signed up to have my disability payment sent to the Netspend card I expected it go well. The first months were okay but this month I find out my deposit is pending and my account is locked. I call the number on my card as I am advised to do, after putting in all the requested information I get a recording to call back later. This is simply unacceptable.

NetSpend direct deposit

Netspend has been withholding to direct deposits of mine from Social Security from December 2017 and January 2018 they they say they can't find the deposits then they say they found them but they wanted my ID and then I sent them the ID and they said that wasn't good enough that they would send the money back to Social Security this is then they said they sent it on the 26th of February back to Social Security this is the first of April and it's still not there and they still only say they only have one of those direct deposits they won't find January's and I've given them the tracking numbers I am super frustrated everytime I talk to them I end up livid and getting absolutely nowhere but to run around sitting on hold and then they hang up on me I am furious with NetSpend I've had accounts there for over 8 years and then to do this to me is ridiculous I closed the account and so now that they give me an even harder time about it they will not give me my money they keep saying that they said they sent the money and they didn't Social Security said I have to deal with the bank it's not their problem was the bank I chose and it's it's just a mess they owe me $990 and they're saying they don't give a c***.

NetSpend account locked

So my sister and I bought a new card today, I loaded with 500$, but I'm locked out of my account foursome reason and it won't let me activate the card.So I just spent 500$ for nothing! I don't understand why my account was locked, but now my account is frozen and I can't reach any of my money. My sister is off for a trip tomorrow morning and really needs this card, what the actually ****? How is she supposed to get to the 500$ if my account is frozen. And its not like I have another 500$ up my sleeve to buy another card.

Apparently, Netspend is not VPN friendly. If you use a VPN, they will lock your account.

NetSpend debit/credit card

I have been a customer with Netspend for over 10 years. My stolen from my account and it put me in a negative status. It actually went well over the amount allowed to overdraft. To be exact it was 143.53 over the withdrawal limit. I called netspend immediately and the problem was corrected and all monies were returned back to my account. I Thought it was strange that I can overdraft that much even while in suspension because of the fraudulent charges. but a couple of days later the same fraudulent charge was back on for $136.80 which again put me in a negative balance. I don't have overdraft on my account because it was suspended due to the fraudulent charges. this why I don't understand why or how someone was able to take money from my acct and put it in a negative status. I again immediately called Netspend and alerted them that the same thing that happened a couple of days ago has happened again. I was told that I would need to file a Dispute claim. The rep said he could do it for me. So that's what we did. I also was told to send an email immediately so that I can receive a provisional credit. The rep asked if I could send the email while on the phone with him. The rep told if I could send the email with him on the phone he can put it as Urgent/priority. So I did it hoping that it would expedite my process. Only to find out when I called the next morning to check my status that there is no way of expediting any dispute matters. I was also told that I needed to anywhere from 2 to 10 business days. Two days later I received a call from a Netspend Rep stating that they needed to block my card and send me a new one. I let the rep know that I would be receiving my paycheck direct deposit in two days. The rep told me not to worry about it because I can still transfer money to another Netspend Card holder even if my card is blocked. I asked her if I could do it online or would a live rep have to do it for me? She stated that I can do it myself because my account is still active only the card is blocked. I asked her several times just to make and she said yes you can do it yourself. So of course when my direct deposit hit I tried to transfer the funds but it wouldn't allow me because the card was blocked/marked as stolen. I tried calling Netspend and of course they were closed only open 8 am to 8 PM central time. So I had to wait until the next morning and call them at 9 Am because that's the time they open for me. This is the worst experience I have ever had with Netspend. Customer Service seems as if they all tell you different things as if they don't know their jobs. Some don't understand what your question may be due to a language barrier. Also Netspend is an Internet Bank you should at least have 24 hour customer service. Had you had 24 hour customer service my needs would have been accommodated. There is no bank that I could physically walk into to get the proper assistance this is why 24 hour customer service is needed. I am currently looking to see if this is a legal issue and Netpsend can be held accountable for their actions. I am without my funds for about a week now and I am still waiting on my new card which was told to me that they would overnight it and wave the fees since this is an ongoing issue. Nothing yet Im still waiting. Netspend you're company is horrible.

NetSpend unauthorized charges

i called net spend 3 times this week. the first time i was told my account would be credited with my money within 10 business days. the clerk said he had good news for me and told me that my claim had been approved, and that i just had to wait until the committee sent me my letter.

i called back the following day about the provisional credit, only to be told that my case had not been resolved and that they were sorry for giving me bad information!
they were looking at my account the entire time, how could you make a mistake that bad, causing me to spend money i didn't have because i was told it would be handled. they don't take care of their customers and the call center just lies to you the entire. time. my name is timothy gilbert and i will be sewing this company for lost wages if i do not get my account credited within the time frame.

NetSpend netspend account closed for no reason

A few years ago I used Netspend all the time for my SSI benefits, I received my direct deposit as normal on the date it was given paid all of my bills and sat down to watch tv, a few hours later I received a text message saying my account was locked for " suspicious activity". I called customer service they asked me to tell them my last transactions I told them correctly and then they proceeded to tell me my account was being closed and would never be able to have Netspend again! This happened back in 2016 and I still haven't been told why or what the " suspicious activity" was? I've tried to get a pay pal card and also my job issues a pay card and that card is threw Netspend so I'm basically screwed! I would love some answers on why I am blocked from using you guys?

NetSpend fraud and cover up by this company

So still talking about Indiana Hoosier lottery money that when speaking to some of the people supposed to work at Netspend. One Minute they tell me they have the money then someone else tells me they sent the money from the savings accounts to me in a check on 02 24 2013.

I have never received it so I had for the check they sent them if they can check on me and they gave me every time I call the 866-387-7363 they put me on hold me up four times the phone calls last 45 minutes and I still have not gotten.

They tell me to get a letter from the whole gelato way to show there was the deposit but if I transfer half the money from the checking account and open a savings account and you are telling me you see the same that is proof right there that I get the check

this is abuse and this company and how they are handling money I deposit into the account and they lie and say your money and secure and covered by the FICA but where is my secure it now. Your company has over 3854.13 dollars of my and with half of that being in a savings and adding on interest. It is much more then that so why want your company give me my money I pray that God will put the right people in the right place to do the right thing and make these people stop playing with my money and give me my money in Jesus name a man .

NetSpend money deposited but I have not gotten it.

So again I had a 3854.13 deposited to my account and open a saving on 09/18/2007 and it is 03/20/2018 and I have not gotten it yet. So on 03/18/18 A Caucasian men call me at 8:30 pm on a Sunday night telling me he was from the Netspend comapny trying to handle the complaint. I told him this is a Sunday night he says they work 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

So he ask me to tell him a little about it, so I did then he tells me that he has a guy that will give me the check and if I could speak with him, so he tell me he will put me on hold. And he got the guy I was not on hold at all. I listen to them talk about me calling me that crazy chick about the lottery money. and how I probably got the money and spend it.

Then he comes online I act like I did not hear a word they said, then he started to ask me questions and then he tells me that the money was deposited it to another women account and said her name was Vickortia Lopze and ask me was I sure I am not her and then saying, I wrote on my account how I watch these movies and listen to this money and eat this kind of food . And how my favor color is this I told him I was Africa Amercian Women.

So I got tried of them talking crazy to me so I told him bless you and he said bless you why are you saying that to me, Is this what you people do are you trying to put a curse on me, then he says bless you back to me and I said thank you.

Then another men comes on the line this is three different men, and he says he does not think my name is Vickortia and how I am trying to scan and How I probably got the money and spend it and now trying to get more.

So I said to him well why would I go to the F.B.I.HEADQUARTERS. and show them my I.D. and tell them about this company, he got upset and says why did you go to the F.B.I. I told him because I am not lying and this is money and Netspend is supposed to be a bank and this is fraud and a federal offense for them not to give me my money.

Then I was tried of them so I told them that this conservation was being recorded and hung and I have the recording of all the evilness that where done to me by these three me.
All this to get money that is legally my. lord help me in the name of jesus.

I have watched my son over the past 7+ days try to get his card unlocked so that he could pay his bills and buy gas as usual. He provided Net Spend with all the correct info and then some. but to no avail his card still locked. I have a net spend card also that I just opened a couple of weeks ago so glad I did not and have not used mine. I will be cancelling my card. EXTREMELY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I will be calling the BBB and other Federal services reporting them. Obviously this is a scam online bank. DO NOT USE NET SPEND!

NetSpend card

I purchased 4 different prepaid cards in another state, because large amount per card every time I card or try to access my card I have go through or problem with the customer service they give me the run around about my funds that I can't withdraw from. I also send in information to resolve any issues and they still want give me my funds like they gave me access to my others cards.

NetSpend prepaid card

Well on 09/18/2007 I receive a text message to my boost mobile number at [protected] at 12: 45 am from Netspend prepaid card alert, Watch let me know that a deposit of 3854.13 was deposited into my card ending in 1010. And it was from the Indiana Hoosier lottery and it had between about 18-22 numbers behind it I believe it to be the account number. So I immediately got online and went to me account to check it, and yes the money was there. So I decide to save some of the money so I open up a saving account right then and transfer half the money to the savings account. Then I check both of the account to make sure it was correct.

So because I did not need the money at that time I though I could just leave it in there and come back for it. So 06/2009 to 2013 I loss my job and complete income. So I started trying to get that money, here it is 03/12/2018 I am still trying to get the money from my Netspend prepaid card Accounts.

So now I am very much in need of all my money for I am 56 years old, living in my 95 year old mother how I am being paid part time at 11.00 a hour and also caring for my Veteran Twice brother who has P.T.S.D. And am not being paid to care for him. I need my money and I though I was doing everything right. I company stayed that you can have money deposited from anywhere and that having a savings account was like having a real bank account. but yet I have not be able to get any of my money why. it is my money I need my money can anyone help me please please please. thank you and I pray that I will get all money that is my in Jesus name amen.

NetSpend I loaded a card on march 6 2018 in the amount of 248.95

I load a card on march 6 2018 in the amount of 248.95 now I paid my light bill on the 9th I got a conformation number and everything now the light people call me saying the money didn't go thought so I have been trying to call them and I cant talk to a person I'm in need of help now cause my light may be getting cut off today everytime I'm calling in getting a computer and it will not let me talk with someone so I can tell them about whats going on please call me at [protected]

Why does Netspend have the right to hold a payment received by the government for 180 days.. When it only takes 72 hours to clear in any other Bank?
Why would the government employ a investigation on their own checks?
Why would netspend tell me they are holding my money to protect me?
Why are they continued to be allowed to practice banking in America by the government when they don't trust government checks? Why do they advertise unlimited account amount, and later only when a amount exceeds their hearsay limited (hence never appealed it in the contract agreement until after the amount was sent therefore breached our contract ) amount added after the fact.. Can a police officer come into your home take your wallet and say I'm going to keep this money until you prove to me how you received it without a warrant, no they cannot.
What gives netspend the right insinuate you are being fraudulent without proof? Who gives netspend the right to investigate a court ordered payment by a Judge? No one they are the one's who need to be investigated and shut down from practicing banking institution, they are a fraudulent company extorting America by demanding personal information while holding your money hostage making you homeless, or late on utility bills or any other examples that you need your money for.. They just rejected my check without reason or evidence of a crime.. In return causing my payer to be in contempt of a court order how do you like them apples.. I am fully aware they have a right to report any certain amount the government deems them to.. That's okay, but without a warrant or permission by the government they have no right to keep your money over the 72 hour time limit for a check to clear.. I know darn well the government didn't send me a check and in the same breath demand Netspend to hold it for 180 days to prove to them why the government owed me the money.. The government is well aware of that matter.. Will be talking to my lawyer and we will get to the bottom of this one way or another, although I told Netspend to reject the payment and send it back I'm not finished with the breeches they allocated on me.. Or my personal information they demanded on me that allowed them to the extortion they tried to get away with.. It's none of Netspends business why a court ordered me that money but it is very suspicious of why they needed it, that isn't public information nor should it be taken lightly.. They have done this to me previously in September of 2017, on a refund from Amazon, I didn't receive the refund until December because of their need to over investigate your personal information, violation of the act of privacy without a warrant or a good reason of suspicions, even a police officer doesn't have that right. Good Day Netspend will be seeing you in COURT!

NetSpend prepaid debit card

Netspend approved my identity and granted me full access to my online account and prepaid debit card. I decided to go ahead and load $300 onto the card from my federal refund check. This was JUST yesterday. Now today (3/7/2018) I entered a convenience store to fill up my car. My card was declined. Attempting to access my account online I was prompted to contact customer service who stated my account was locked due to them revoking my identity. They are stating the 1099 form address does not match the one on file when IT DOES. I am now stranded at a gas station with my six month old god child with no gas and praying that no danger is done to us while we are helpless in this situation. Customer service stated that corporate was closed and could not refund me via money gram until corporate contacted me. He refused to transfer me to anyone in corporate. (Den employee ID:370142) showed no remorse in my situation whatsoever. And was stern on my only option was to wait until someone from corporate contacted me and that it could take up to a minimum of TWO DAYS!
