NAFPS http://www.newagefraud.org/smf/index.php?topic=5057.0 has provided personal family information on their forum, in an attempt to invalidate Shore Charmoe and the work she is doing on her website https://www.thecircleforchange.com/

She is helping many people and I hate seeing her invalidated this way. Please investigate. Her family privacy is at risk and the work she is doing.

I think it is beautiful that she has overcome her own autistic issues and is helping so many abandoned and traumatized kids with fetal alcohol syndrome.

This is not a good or trustworthy organization that is on the internet. It should be taken down.

Shore is not alone. Métis was removed as a category in the 1906 census. It didn't appear again on the census until 1991. Many had to assimilate to the dominant culture if they wanted to fit in and prosper. They were also forced to identify themselves as French or English or "white" at census time. The Lakota custom of giving a name to a person as a sign of friendship and respect or even adoption and someone saying that name is not the same as someone claiming to be Lakota. Shore has been recognized by different indigenous organizations in her area for the work she does.
