I went into my local Mr. Tire this past Saturday, 01/10. I was hearing a noise from the front end of my car. They gave me a list of things that were "wrong" with the car including - Brakes, Rotors, CV Shaft, Wheel Barring and 2 new front tires. I took the car for a second opinion and found that all I need is brakes and rotors. I paid you all almost 90$ on Saturday to "diagnosis" my car and your employee told me I needed a bunch of work done that I really didn't need. I also found out that the employee at your shop cross threaded my lug nut and stud and just put the lug nut back on the stud to make it appear to be on their correctly. This was not like this before I came into Mr. Tire, and they never once mentioned it as a problem while there. I have my receipt and paperwork showing what they said my car “needed”. I would like a full refund back for the diagnosis fee. With the broken lug nut and stud and false diagnosis I don't feel like I was treated properly. Please reach out to me [protected]@gmail.com I also would like to mention I have been a LONG-time customer of Mr. Tire, but this incident put a bad taste in my mouth. Please make this right.
Claimed loss: 90.00$
Desired outcome: I would like a refund for the false diagnostic fee I paid. and the broken lug nut/stud.
