MindValley Subscription - auto renewal

Beware! Mindvalley Is a Scam — They Trap You and Refuse Refunds!
I am beyond disappointed with Mindvalley. This company is nothing but a money-hungry scam that preys on its customers through deceptive billing practices and an utter lack of empathy.
When I initially subscribed, there was absolutely no mention that the service would AUTOMATICALLY RENEW. No clear warning, no proper disclosure — just a sneaky charge waiting to happen. When they were about to take another full year’s subscription fee from my account, they sent an email. But guess what? It went straight into my spam folder, meaning I never saw it. Convenient for them, right?
By the time I noticed, they had already drained my account. I reached out to them immediately, explained the situation, and asked for a refund since I had already canceled my subscription. But did they care? NO. They flat-out refused, showing zero understanding or humanity, even after I clearly explained this was a financial burden for me.
I then tried to be reasonable and asked if they could at least keep the amount for one month (since I had technically been charged) and refund the remaining 11 months that I would not be using. But again, they refused without hesitation.
I contacted them more than eight times, hoping someone — ANYONE — would actually read my message and show some basic human decency. Instead, they ignored my concerns and kept replying with the same robotic, copy-paste rejection email every single time. It’s as if no real person was even reviewing my case.
And the worst part? The reason I canceled in the first place was that their content is absolute garbage. It’s nothing but overhyped, shallow material that does not deliver on its promises. So, not only was I dissatisfied with their content, but now they have stolen my money for an entire year of a service I will never use.
This is beyond unethical — it’s fraudulent and predatory behavior. A company that traps its users in auto-renewals, refuses refunds under any circumstances, and dismisses genuine customer concerns does NOT deserve your money.
STAY FAR AWAY FROM MINDVALLEY! If you don’t want to be scammed, ignored, and financially drained, do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs.

same here, and they kept coming back thru paypal even though i thought i was done, had finally gotten through to a person who said he cancelled my membership. They kept on charging paypal and because i didnt expect it, I didnt notice it and am always extremely stressed and busy in April/May, I was charged 3 more years! Now I have to close my Paypal account because they have no customer service either anymore. Mindvalley should be held accountable. Do not get involved with them. they lie. If I cant join the class action, i will file suit in pro se court.

MindValley Membership cancellation

I signed up to a recent program under Mindvalley under a monthly subscription. I only wanted to maintain the subscription for a month, but I had a death in the family, so I wasn’t as prompt as I intended in cancelling at the end of the month. Today (end of month) I tried to cancel. (The same day the monthly subscription debit for next month took place). I found billings and subscriptions under my account profile, but no active subscriptions, so I couldn’t proceed. So then I wasted a good 15 mins trying to contact MV to resolve the issue (Your site is impossible to navigate all the different and instructions - but none helpful.) I then found the chat function, had to wait, but then finally got someone live to share my issue with, then that person simply disappeared mid conversation, having said they would help me resolve the issue. (screenshot available to demonstrate that fact) It had taken about 15 mins to get to that point in the chat, and I didn’t have the strength to keep going. Whilst you may have useful programs on offer, this is the second time (signing up was a nightmare and took 24 hrs) in a very short space of time, in which I’ve had incredibly difficult challenges to face, simply to complete very simple tasks (ie; sign up and cancel). In the future, I just won’t use you. You are too labour intensive and way too frustrating to set up for me to waste my time with. Whilst you say you won’t issue refunds, given my circumstances (death) and the subscription amount being drawn the same day you let me know with not being able to close my membership, I think it would be grossly unfair to not process a refund for me. Thank you.

Desired outcome: Close my subscription and refund the monthly fee debited from me today.

MindValley Unauthorized charge

On 4/28/2025 Mindvalley pulled an unauthorized charge of $299 for a renewal that I did not request. I went to the account and no 15 day refund option is given as they said their policy is only for the first purchase not a renewal purchase.
Yet, I did not authorize the money to be taken.
I dealt with chat assistance twice, as they did not follow through with getting back to me in 2-4 days as they stated, and was refused and continually told it is their company policy.
Is this really legal?
I am still within 15 days of this charge and merely seeking a refund as I did not authorize this charge on my card.
I do not understand why this company does not want to behave in a Reputable manner and refund this unauthorized charge.
When I asked to speak with someone who would be able to refund me I was told the Senior of the chat would tell me the same thing and continue to refer to policy.
This issue can simply be resolved by refunding the $299 that I did not authorize.

MindValley Yearly membership via website, unable to get a refund

Today, 30th July - its 1pm approx and im watching their free thing and Vishen is all about getting life together and magic and im like not convinced but taking notes, and then getting back to work - by 6pm i've finished his free manipulation course (that's what im gonna call it now) and im convinced the 99/Year thing is a steal so I buy it and then... the page asks me to upgrade to pro, then some other pro plus crap and I decline all that... and then bam! my new paid for membership account doesn't work.

The firefox is not loading and showing terrible font and big images and I have no clue where to go next - having Edge on my laptop, I switch to that browser and it too is a mess. I take screenshots and try to reach out via email but there is no email!

They had iMessage, which was a dead end. I tried Whatsapp next, another crap end because a dumb virtual ai would not understand words like refund, support, human and help.

Next I installed their iOS app and my account signed in alright but the profile would refuse to save - now that is imp because thats how u move things along.

I had had enough I decided to get that refund they were boasting about. But that was a bust.

From iOS I couldnt press refund button because it would take me to support guide article.

I found an email for payment problems and told them about the problems and attached screenshots too, told them to refund me, but lousy people sent me the link to that crap artcile again!

I replied back and they emailed me again and said to use chrome browser... I installed it just for the sake of it and guess what... the website would not work. It was as terrible!

Its 11pm, 13+ requests via whatsapp and 5 via email... I have tried 7 times to get myself that refund by pressing a button they say will give it to me but so far I have not received any email that says my membership is cancelled now.

So Vishen... and your entire crew, you guys are great manipulators. Yes your system works. You reel-in innocent people with hard-earned money and your honey trap them into scams like this.

I thought people in my country like pakistan which is a 3rd world region would have pathetic customer services but no, countries like usa has this amazing company which harps on changing for better... is such an opposite itself.

Your mission and vision is excellent for manipulation. Sociopaths and narcs will love u.

I want an email from a real human telling me my membership is cancelled. I want them to state my money is being refunded 100% and that they will never reach out to me every again to manipulate me into buying anything off of their or partner site ever again.

I want them to follow up every day for next 13 calendar days to check if I have received my money or not. And if I have not received it, then I want them to look into it from their and use typed words in emails (not ai or bot-ty) and tell me when will I receive it. I want them to email me as many times as they did to reel me into buying a memebership. I want screenshots of proof that they have refunded me, I want screenshots of everything!

Claimed loss: $99 peace of mind9-10 hours

Desired outcome: I want an email with screenshots from a real human telling me my membership is cancelled and state my money is being refunded 100%

MindValley Mindvalley subscription

I received a notice of Auto-Renew for my Mindvalley Subscription on 1/7/24 that on 1/8 the subscription would renew. Given I am not in the same financial position I was in last year and cannot afford to pay for another year, I knew I would need to cancel. I was also not aware of an auto renewal prior (as it was not mentioned on my receipt from 2023) but I was able to CANCEL the subscription online on 1/7/24 before the 1/8 renewal date. Unfortunately, Mindvalley had already charged my CC (email sent to me on 1/7 even though subscription ends 1/8). I immediately reached out to Mindvalley on 1/7 that I did not want my subscription and asked for a refund (I have screenshots of my communication on 1/7 via Airtable and iMessage) but I never heard back. Mindvalley makes it impossible to speak to a live person and they send you in circles and waste your time just trying to resolve an issue. I reached out again on 1/12 but still not able to get in touch with anyone – only chat bots that give you the run-around. It is extremely frustrating. I am hoping Mindvalley will provide me a refund as I do not want to renew and do not use the platform. Please respond. Thank you.

MindValley Videos

I tried to contact customer support through the webpage, but I couldn't, links on support page are not active.

I am a Mindvalley member about 10 days, I am taking one of the courses The art of manifestation and almost at every video that I watching exactly when is in the middle of the meditation it stops and I can't start from where it stopped I have to go back at the program and restart the lesson from the beginning.

I am using my laptop Hp Victus and I am using Mindvalley through the webpage not the app.

MindValley No customer service number!

I've been charged for months and I never signed up for there services Idk why im being charged for an account that is either nonexistent or inactive. I didnt see the charges til a couple weeks ago. 400$ or more has been taken from my account without my consent! I need to talk to an actual person from customer service but now their phone number is disconnected?! Sketchy...

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

MindValley Unexpected auto renewal overdrew my account

MindValley took $399 from my account today, which overdrew my account and gives me overdraft charges to pay, but $399 less to pay them with. I am not using the service, and did not realize it was set up on auto-renew, so I contacted them same day (today).

This was their response: We deeply regret not being able to comply with your refund request on this occasion due to the order's refund policy already being expired. I'd like to let you know that after the first purchase date, our subscriptions come with a 15-day refund policy. The automatic renewal of your Membership subscription is non-refundable.

I do not accept this, and know that they have the ability, considering that I am on a pension now and can no longer afford this service.

In writing to MindValley, I told them that this is what I'd like as a resolution:

I realize that you can use your contract as a justification for keeping my funds, and yet, I hope you will be understanding and considerate that as customers, our needs change as we get older, and sometimes we cannot afford to continue.

Because I am now living on a pension, a fixed income, this is a luxury I can no longer afford.

I also cannot afford this unexpected auto-renewal that I want the refund for. I want a happy solution that helps me say good things about MindValley.

This is what I'm asking. Please let me know that:

1. I don't have to fight this, that you will be considerate of my financial circumstance.

2. The $399 will be refunded my account

3. I can use the refunded money to pay the overdraft charges.

I take responsibility and apologize for the inconvenience to you if I signed up for an auto renewal, but can no longer afford that luxury at this time and it is a huge inconvenience to me to handle the unexpected overdraft charges now.

I want to be able to say that I was able to cancel it easily, with no penalty, as soon as I discovered that I had unexpectedly been charged again.

Please let me know right away that the money has been refunded, so I can use it to pay the overdraft charges.

MindValley Membership fee taken despite cancellation.

I have much enjoyed using Mindvalley but I wasn't in a financial position to renew my membership so on the 25th of August I sent an email to [protected]@mindvalley.com asking to cancel the auto renew on my membership which was due to be renewed on the first of September as I couldn’t find out how to do it on your site. The article and other links which should have guided me were unavailable when I click on them. I stated that I am not currently in a financial position to renew my membership so it’s best to just cancel it until my finances improve.

I did not receive a reply.

On the 30th of August I received an email inviting me to re-join Mindvalley so I assumed the cancellation had been done.

On the 1st and then the 6th and the 8th of September Mindvalley attempted to take payment despite my cancellation. The card I used previously had been lost and no longer valid so all the payments attempts were unsuccessful.

On the 8th of September I emailed payments.[protected]@mindvalley.com stating the following:

Hello

It looks like you are still attempting to take payment for my membership despite the fact that I have already cancelled it.

Just thought I would let you know.

On the 8th I received what looked like an automated message from the Mindvalley Customer Support Team which did not acknowledge what I had said about cancelling my membership.

On the 10th of September another unsuccessful attempt was made to charge my card and on the 12th of September, somehow your system accessed my new card without my permission and charged me $478.80.

I found that out in the evening and I was very distraught. This large amount of money had come out of my monthly living budget and was needed to pay essential bills.

I contacted my bank and explained the situation, they told me to get in touch with Mindvalley. I emailed payments.[protected]@mindvalley.com last night explaining the situation and that I had cancelled my membership and needed this money back in my account asap.

This morning, to my dismay I received another generic message, not addressing at all my concerns. In the meantime I am nearly $500 down and very worried about what will happen to me if I am not able to pay my essential bills on time because of this.

I wanted to rejoin Mindvalley when I was able to afford it but now I am unsure that this is a safe option for me.

Desired outcome: I would like a full refund asap, and for MIndvalley to improve it's payment and communication system to prevent such upsetting errors to happen to customers.

MindValley Mindvalley membership promotion as presented by vishen lakhiani

9/10/23. Name: VERA TACKETT. Email: i.[protected]@yahoo.com.

On 8/27 I Purchased: "MV FULL Standard Membership"

I Paid: $399 by CC

This was after listening to Vishen's Super-Brain presentation.

He said that if we didn't buy it at that "super-special price" within 30 minutes... we might never find that offer again. SIC!

I am a 70 year old lady and I just got diagnosed with DEMENTIA.

This was my GOD-SENT SAVING GRACE!" I thought!

Of course, I immediately rushed to sign up .

I RECEIVED my RECEIPT for my purchase on my YAHOO EMAIL above.

I immediately started watching the 4 Intro Videos of SUPER-BRAIN.

All the next ones were locked.

A couple of days later, I tried to Log In with my email.

And I could NOT ACCESS my Mindvalley Account with the Yahoo email that I had signed up. (I receive Mindvalley's emails "Every Day" in that email address.

(I had been your Customer a year and a half ago.

But had to cancel my Membership because of Financial Restrictions in my life.)

WHAT IS WRONG? I wondered.

Then, I remembered that when I FIRST purchased this new Membership

and "BEFORE my Transaction went Tthrough" Mindvalley asked:

If I wanted to Sign up for my Account using Apple, Google, etc.

I chose Apple because I trust it 100%.

I did see that Apple had generated a weird address to Sign IN/ON (?) Not my original " i.[protected]@yahoo.com" email that I gave you for this Purchase. But I didn't think this was any problem.

Since then, I've tried to Sign in 100 times

(all while being 100% BUSY moving to a different HOME)

NO SUCCESS!

But the WORSE is that, the very SAME DAY that I SIGNED UP...

Instantaneously, Mindvalley sent me several Messages ...

Inviting me to: "UPGRADE my MEMBERSHIP" for an EXTRA $499

to be able "to ACCESS 100% of the FULL-FEATURED QUESTS"

and ALL the "STANDARD FULL ACCESS" to my STANDARD MEMBERSHIP

as VISHEN PROMISED WITH MY ORIGINAL" SUPER-DEAL" PURCHASE.

Which was $100 cheaper than the "NORMAL MEMBERSHIP" (not the PRO)

(Which, I just discovered, you can actually Buy Directly from Mindvalley

ALL the TIME! When you Google "Discounted Mindvalley Membership" )

VS JUST "ONE 3RD" of the "STANDARD FEATURES"

of ANY "NORMAL" MIND VALLEY MEMBERSHIP"

as you sent me with my recent Purchase.

This means that I would have to pay $900 DLS to GET my "NORMAL STANDARD "CONTENT" = The FULL MIND VALLEY QUESTS VAULT"

( I DO NOT CARE for the Community and ALL of the other SOCIAL

& Advanced FEATURES that come with the PRO Membership.)

That is NOT ETHICAL!

I have ALWAYS TRUSTED VISHEN & MIND VALLEY as the HIGHEST STANDARDS of CONTENT & INTEGRITY COMPANY!

BOTTOM LINE

TODAY IS MY 15 DAY OF MY PURCHASE.

MindValley Annual renewal charged unexpectedly

First, the customer support offered is not good, which is how I got here. Through exhaustive research. When I had a refund inquiry the phone number provided was disconnected and email did not work. The messenger support link is robotic and only responds with generic questions. This makes me believe that Mindvalley could be a scam.

My subscription renewed on 31 August 2023, unaware until my bank account was charged $399 on 1 August 2023, to my surprise. I immediately tried to request a refund the same day 1 August 2023. After further research I found that there is a refund form that you can fill out but because it is auto renewed you won't get it, even though the website says a 15 day refund policy. It makes no sense, and honestly reflects bad customer service, what's the point of having a refund policy, if you can't get customer support and if the company won't refund payments, even if the request is made the same day or within 3-5 days of payment.

When I purchased mindvalley in 2022, I only used it for three months max and decided it wasn't for me. After that I never logged into or participated on the app. I was under the impression that it was a one time purchase and I would have to purchase again if wanted, which I didn't. Now, without a refund I am out of $399 for something that I know I wont be able to benefit from. I fill manipulated and forced into purchase/membership behind fine print.

As a newly divorced mother of two, I do not have the funds or luxury to throw away $399, which is what occurred today. I am really disappointed and now regretting that I purchased a membership at all. hoping that I can receive a refund otherwise I'm screwed. I honestly believe that buyers should be cautious when making this purchase.

Desired outcome: Please refund $399, look into changing policy to allow a refund on auto-renews and have a better support system for customers. Future customers should not have to go through hard loops and research just to find a solution.

MindValley Yearly membership

I purchased the yearly membership on 18.8.2023, and have proof from bank of a €344 charge by mindvalley, but I have no access to the membership, and no way to contact customer service because it is literally non existant! No emails or phone numbers, customer service is just automated bots, no where to send proof of payment! Last 4 digits of card 7215, email mandel.[protected]@gmail.com

Desired outcome: To be contacted by an actual person at that company, either refund me or add my membership.

MindValley Mindvalley memberahio yerly renewal

After one year they pulled 299€ off my credit car again, without asking. That ia an insanw amount of money to just take off of credit card.

In the app it is imposible to check the status, date or cancel. I know as i tried many time but it just looks like it currwntly doea not work...

Quite shure the know about these and they decide it to leave it on anyway as it must be lots ofnoeople that they get money from.

I kjow ita not easy to convince people again after 1 year for that kindnof money but this is scamy...i went from evangelist to someone realy disapointed. Clerly Vishen is aware of rhis and lets it happen and i ammpaying for his lifestyle instead paying rent this month...

Desired outcome: i want the money of the renewal back aa i did not intend to prolong it now.

MindValley A charge to credit card without warning

A Renewal Charge without Reminder

I have purchased a yearly subscription with Mindvalley and have not used it for months. This morning I received a notification on my phone that my credit card has been charged for 299 dollars renewal fee! I am not happy at all since there was no reminder email! In my experience of purchasing subscriptions with other established companies, I always received reminder emails in advance so I could decide whether I would continue or cancel my subscriptions. I’m very surprised because of how the company projects itself to be professional and offers excellent customer service to fail to send customer reminder emails. It makes me wonder the intention behind the business.

This is so unprofessional and I want my refund back!

MindValley MindValley Free 15 day trial

I ordered MindValley on May 1 and canceled on May 14 when my calendar reminder went off. I realized I was never reimbursed for the $99 charge on May 2. I contacted them, and they said they need proof from an email they say they sent, but I never received. I'm wondering why I have to prove cancellation via documentation that came from them. I cancelled directly on their site.

Desired outcome: Refund the $99 to honor the free trial that was advertised.

MindValley Monthly membership

I purchase a product from MindValley.com on 06/03/2023 and request my refund on 06/12/23. The product had a 15 day refund, however, the amount was not reversed. I contacted the company via whatsapp where an assistant confirmed that the refund had not yet been deposited and that a supervisor would be in touch. Yet again it's been a week and my problem still hasn't been resolved.

MindValley Renewal payments

I'm sitting in hospital with my mum when I get a text to warn me that Mindvalley has taken 2 x £358.80!... please see below text...

Now I hadn't been concerned prior to this as I had had an email telling me my subscription was due & then yesterday I received a notification that the correct amount I was expecting had been debited..."Photo of [protected]:27 alert that £282.24"Please please can someone refund the 2 x £358.80, as I need that credit card for bills whilst mum is in hospital.

I would be really grateful if you could do that asap.

Mum is having a very high risk surgery first thing in the morning, & I really want only good energy and thoughts at this time.

In summary, expected £282 taken, then 2 lots of £358 taken with no authority or consent on my behalf, obviously an error.

I got a quick response basically saying 'we sent you an email, so no refund' completely missing the point that the last 2 payments taken were an error, as the £282 had already been taken (frontline worker discount). Now my mother is in the high dependency unit and I am having to call my only credit card company to tell them that I did not authorise these payments, because I didn't, and now I have no credit card should I need it. Please could someone sort refunding and cancelling the amounts. Also I would appreciate it if the Mindvalley member responsible for their flippant and non-thorough response be alerted to the fact that their response was inaccurate & extremely unhelpful especially when they knew what myself and my family are going through at this time - definitely not the high standard I have come to expect from Mindvalley. Many thanks

FRAUD ALERT: MINDVALLEY

Mindvally does DISHONEST business. They never paid me back after cancellation of the membership within the two week period as they promised.

I was charged $399 US on June 29, 2022 for a one year membership which I did not want and cancelled the probation period on time. The main reason why they did not refund me my money was because they told me that it was not enough just to cancel it. There were some other required steps to do.

In June 2022, Mindvalley had an advertisement on Youtube that highlighted how it was easy to cancel the subscription in just one step that they would not ask any additional questions. Just subscribe and see if you like it for 2 weeks. To me that was the key phrase “Easy to cancel. No question asked” . I subscribed, I tried, I did not like, I canceled. Plus I made a decision to go to study full time and had no time for Mindvalley videos.

They did not refund my money ALTHOUGH I DID CANCEL THE SERVICE ON TIME!

I was shocked. The Customer Support person gave me a case number and I did not hear back from them anymore.

I did not expect such treatment from a well known international educational company who teaches high values but treats people as a third world business.

I ended up paying $527 CAD for something I did not use. I wish I could get my money back and pay for one of the courses towards my program in college instead of wasting my money on Mindvalley.

Desired outcome: I want to get the refund.

MindValley Automatic renewal

As a lot of customers here, I have the feeling to have been robbed by Mindvalley. This is purely unacceptable and in regard to the number of complaints you should definitely change this behavior!
My yearly subscription was automatically renewed without ANY NOTICE.
I asked for a refund as soon as it happened yesterday. Thanks to come back to me ASAP and let me know when the full refund would be proceeded.

MindValley Inability to secure a refund and cancel product.

Original ad indicated that if not satisfied it would be a simple matter of clicking a simple key to cancel. Not so! I find the whole process complicated and designed to ensnare the customer in various ways to elicit additional money.

I entered into this transaction on 4-28-23. My credit card with the $399 charge was gleefully accepted.

For those of us not adept a navigating computer processes, this has been a nightmare for me. I want a refund and do not want to be charged for anything in the future!

Desired outcome: I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND ANY CONNECTION WITH MINDVALLEY TO BE DISENGAGED NOW AND ANY FUTURE TIME.
