I am a victim of a violent police assault in Germany, and Microsoft is actively locking me out of my life. On June 26, 2026, Mannheim police illegally took my phone, which holds my 2FA security codes. I provided Microsoft with official medical assault reports, my passport, satellite logs proving the police has my phone, and highly specific account details.

The response from Microsoft Support? "Not enough info" lol.

By ignoring official legal documents and refusing to restore my access, Microsoft is protecting criminals and freezing a disabled victim out of his own life. Answer my official support requests.

Claimed loss: Will calculated.

Desired outcome: Answer my official support requests.

Hi IIker.
I am not from Microsoft, but I'd like to get in contact with you if it's possible.
There are many people who fall victim to account compromise. Microsoft systematically refuses to restore full access to compromised accounts and anyone who doesn't know how to reach them correctly is almost always shrugged off. The questionnaire you were sent wasn't even for full recovery. I can tell by the fact it came from "cdoccm@microsoft.com".
Even if you did validate ownership through it all they would do is move the Xbox profile part of your account to another one. Full access would not be restored, meaning files, emails and other important things would still be gone.
Their support is bad enough that we created a group of around 1000 people with similar issues to yours. I am one of the founders of this community.
I would like to share all my knowledge with you to hopefully restore this account. If you did mange to restore it, please contact me anyway as I'd like to know more about the legal notice you filed against Microsoft. My username on Discord is "Lacy29", send me a friend request.
I am truly sorry for what happened and I hope you're doing better.
