Menards review: Model #6790168 brass white kitchen sink strainer basket 2pkg

We bought our kitchen sink strainer basket about 6 month ago, out of lansing mi. Since then the white coating is almost pealed off both the strainers. This isn't what we were expecting. Yes I could take it back to the store to get replacement. Then I would have to take the sink out and this is a problem with my wife has to use the sink often, due to disability. And if you are a plumber, its a pain in the a... What we are asking for the store to replace both the strainer, not the white ones. This way I don't have to take the sink out, got to manards miles away. It would be easer. Its not easy work. Thanks for your consideration on this matter. I do not want the same ones, which were more expensive, we like the stainless steel ones. We went for looks, not again.
