Item ran 5 min and stopped; used three of my 40 volt batteries=all charged. opened 11-5-24. Need replacement ASAP=this is leaf season. missing part
bought a wet saw and spent 1 hour putting it together. The stand that came with it was missing an internal extension, housing. Called the company and receives different instructions as to how to send the stand back for a refund or replacement. The last instruction was that I had to send the entire wet saw and stand back, unassembled! I said "forget it" I'm a tile contractor and I will NEVER use this company again! I will have to buy a new stand because my time is worth more!

Purchased a wet saw with stand included. Wet saw, I assembled, in an hour. Stand's internal housing was missing. Called to return stand and they requested me to return "everything", including wet saw! My time is valuable and I said "forget it!" Forget this company, not customer service oriented.

I purchased a a trimmer recite at the Pigion Forge 2654 Teaster Lane location receipt # [protected] on December 1 -2023 when I walked in door the associate Dustin told me they had 30% off on everything today. When I paid for the trimmer he charged me full price of 159.00 and said it didn’t have a discount after paying for the item and telling other people what happened I was made aware the it only sells for 138.00 a Amozon and 99.00 on eBay for the same item talking about being had I feel as though I was ripped off big time. I would never buy anything or recommend anyone else to after this .my friends that was witness fill the same way .

BUYER BEWARE This company is unworthy of my respect.
I ordered the Ryobi washer unit RY124052KVNM on 6/27 after an endorsement by "Tool Review Zone." I paid $209.
On 6/30, Direct Tools Factory Outlet had this product RY124052KVNM on sale for $146. I wrote an email on 6/30 requesting a match. There was zero response.
On 7/1 Direct Tools Factory Outlet had the same product RY124052KVNM on sale for $126.
I called on the customer service number and was told that they would do nothing. The company return policy stipulates that they are not required to match pricing and basically assures you that they won't by requiring a 20% restocking fee for returns.
While I understand that "BUYER BEWARE" was my responsibility, the tactics of this company are reprehensible and others need to be made aware of the sketchy tactics of Direct Factory Outlet. I don't believe (even for a second) that there was anywhere close to that much difference in their acquisition cost.

Ryobi tool received doesn’t work. No response from direct tool
Ordered New Blemished Extended Reach Impact Wrench which I received on May 4th. Tried to use the tool on May 7th. Did not work. Tried with several amp hr batteries. Sent letter to Support on on May 15th. No response so called on May 17. Was on hold for 27 min and then left call back number. No response.
Receive email back from support to call support number. Called again and on hold for 30 min.
Pathetic service. Bottom line. Received bad tool, replace at no charge. Not hard to figure out.
Desired outcome: Receive new replacement tool and pre-paid shipping label to return old one.

I purchased a FACTORY RECONDITIONED 1600 PSI 1.2 GPM Electric Pressure Washer, performance tested and rated per PWMA PW101, with a lightweight design, compact for storage at $79.99 from their TN store. At home, it failed to work. They suggested I drive 303 miles for an exchange.

Ordered a scroll saw on January 2, and received it on January 19, due to a sale delay. The saw is supposed to be factory blemished (fully functional), but the saw arm was misaligned and did not cut properly. I contacted Direct Tools and was informed that I should have reached out within seven days of receiving the item and that it can only be returned within thirty days of the purchase date. Unfortunately, I now fall outside these time criteria, so I was instructed to take it to a service repair location for a warranty claim.
I took it to a recommended repair location as instructed, and they were not able to repair it, so it was shipped to another facility. I was given a repair estimate of a couple of months, but that could not be confirmed. Additionally, they could not assure me that this would be repaired without a fee. Now I have purchased a saw that I have no idea when I will receive back and may need to spend more to receive it. I would expect a company that sells tools to verify that they are functioning if listed as factory blemished.

Their website states that there will be a 5-7 day period for orders to ship due to high volume. It has now been 23 days! I have called multiple times and keep getting the same answer that unfortunately there is nothing that I or they can do and that they will be shipped as soon as possible. What kind of a business is this? I dont want a refund I want the tools shipped! 23 days processing is unacceptable. And there is clearly no system in place where they ship orders by calendar date because I have orders from December 2 that shipped but still waiting on orders from mid November. Very disgusted.
I placed an order on November 23rd. When I call to find out where my order was on December 5th I was told it would take 10 business days to process the order because they were very busy. When I called on November 12th December 12th which was 12 business days after I place my order I was told it was make another 7 to 10 days then process the order because they were very very busy and then the customer service tech hung up on you

Warning- buyer bewareI bought a cordless drill that, it turns out, is useless without also purchasing a battery separately. Unfortunately the item page never even hints at that in any conceivable way. I know because after endless calls with two separate representations I've been told I must be wrong about that, that I didn't fully read the description or specifications, that I must have missed a "little icon of a battery that means it doesn't have a battery so they don't have to actually say that". This all culmulated in me literally taking screenshots and printouts of the item page and sending them to Direct tools outlet. Nothing changed, I'm still being charged restocking fees. I wonder if they were trying to see if I would just give up, because in the end I was told word for word "well it says it includes a drill so that means it doesn't include a battery". I'm not certain if this is dishonest advertising or intentionally dishonest customer service, but it's one of those.

The store in question is an online store chain that is listed under " www.directtoolsoutlet.com ". I have tried to resolved it locally and have contacted the store in question numerous times. I believe the first phone call I made through them is on December 12. The second call is on December 18 or so.. then its followed by an email on December 20. My order was placed on December 6th. I called them several times! I was told the reason for the delay is because of the Holiday and that is why my order was not ship yet (Christmas is over) But they assured me that they have it physically picked and ready to ship shortly. 3 weeks past and still nothing happened. I called again and was told the same exact explanation. They repeated the "its been pulled from our shelves and ready to ship story"! I was told this in 2 different times. My first question at this point is... if its been pulled already, why put it back in the shelves again to wait a few more weeks before initiating shipment? It does not make any sense! It would anger any customer and would sour and destroy the image that any self respecting business has. I even sent them an email so as to give them an opportunity to fix the problem. But that too they selected to ignore. Upon digging deeper to this issue on the web, I found that there are so many countless dissatisfied customer that had been waiting for their orders for months and repeated calls and emails to them had been left un-answered. Social media had no shortage of bad reviews of this company. Those people are having the same issues that I'm having (delayed shipment even before the holidays and has taken months). TTi, their principal holder was also notified of this issue. I would like to give any company the opportunity to resolve any issues that they might have before I take this to the next step. They are slowly destroying the company as a whole and hurting their repeat customer in the process. No one should operate like this, my case is not unique, other people have experience the same delay (even before the holiday or whatever excuse they might come up with) its been echoed by other customer time and time again and there is a pattern with that company. Please help. I would like to avoid filing a case with the department of consumer affairs If it can be avoided and resolved in a timely manner. I appreciate any assistance you can give. Regards
