I got my auto renewal email on Dec 26th and I cancelled my auto-renewal option on Dec 28th, however, my renewal was not cancelled. I was expecting refund. I called on March 7th to inquire about any updates. I was told that I am not eligible for refund. My actual renewal date of subscription was Jan 26. I cancelled at least month earlier than the deadline. I am not sure, but this is unfair way of selling subscription.

Mcaffee removes Braille application programs from my computer. I am going to go back to my old antivirus, Mcaffee costs me too much aggravation. It removes things it should not remove. other antivirus programs I had never did this to my system. Mcaffee removed braille printer drivers and education software applications. I spoke to the representatives yesterday; I canceled my subscription.

I have total protection for 3 devices and my A11 Phone says i'm not protected, also its sending me a lot of messages, say my phone has a virus. It says data overloading, unauthorized download detected, messages from google saying my phone needs cleaning, google says we will lock my phone soon and a lot more all day every day i get these notifications.

Hi, I am monica from Egypt and my subscription was expired two days ago and on that day I asked for 1 year subscription and as i entered my payment method data an error has appeared including that something went wrong and after trying to modify my data to subscribe and pay the amount I got the same error message and I did that 4 times and after that I got 4 messages from my bank informing me with the deduction of 19,99 US dollars by 4 times and now I will not be able to resubscribe without ensuring that the previous amount are not deducted and I will still be unsecured as the trial period was ended, please appreciate your help as soon as possible

Took money out of account for auto renewal. Have called six times and told something different each time. First they said it was cancelled so no refund! Then was told someone from billing would call me. Never got call. Then told twice I would get refund but never did. Last call they said it was "escalated" to supervisor and I would get call back. They are liars and thieves. How do they get away with this?

Why have I been charged twice for $AU173.70? Once on 6/2/2022 and once on 12/2/2022.

I did not sign up to McAfee, but received an email from the Account Department stating:

I ordered your protection service yesterday and suspect I may have trouble with your company, and this is the case. 23 February 2022.

Today I turned on my computer with a notice saying to please subscribe to your company, which I did so yesterday.

Why are you asking me to subscribe?

This is very rude of you to ask me to subscribe again.

Another problem I had was my password. I am NOT changing my password and was requested to put another password in. Which I am not going to do!

Please stop being difficult. If you do not want me as your customer, please inform me of this, and refund my money, straight away.

I am not at all surprised that I am having problems with you.

Twice this week i have purchased total protection as a message appeared to say that subscription had expired. i still keep getting messages to say that i need to update protection, what is going on. i want you to give my money back if you cannot keep to this agreement.

This has been the worst experience i've ever had with any company in my life.

First, I purchased mcafee total protection and from that moment I started receiving pop ups saying my subscription was going to expire. So I call the [protected] phone number the website provided. After being transferred to technical support I allowed the support agent to remote access to my computer. Normally I wouldn't do this but I don't know how to scan my computer and do a diagnostics test so against my better judgement I allowed it. Well 'big mistake'! They obtained my banking information and credit card info and charged both. One for 249.99 and another for 139.60.

So after finding out my computer was hacked by the number I called and confirmed the mcafee app on my computer was secure I put the app on my phone. The next day my phone was acting crazy. There was no internet service from my personal internet or my t-mobile carrier. After contacting my carrier they couldn't find the problem. I was directed to the nearest store to get another chip. So on my way to the store I figured id delete the app I downloaded just because. Shut my phone off then back on and everything was fine.

I contact mcafee back for the 4th time to be ran in circles about how any of this could of happened. Hey will not take any responsibility for anything. Told them I needed to file a complaint and was redirected to another department to explain the situation again.

In closing, I just want ppl to know that if this is supposed to be an agency to protect you from hackers and bc of them I was hacked and they did nothing to fix or at the very least set my mind at ease. I had to change my bank account cancel credit cards and still don't feel safe using my computer all directly involved with mcafee. I will never use mcafee again.

My account was auto renewed without my authorization on 12/14/21 in the amount of $138.24. I have been trying unsuccessfully to get a refund of this amount. Today I'm still within my the allotted time for a refund but have been challenging this charge for several weeks.

Notably, I have spent countless hours trying to get in touch with someone in the billing department to no avail. I have followed every instruction online and ultimately get kicked back out to calling the # provided but have never gotten anyone to pick up. Both my wife and I held over an hour on separate occasions for someone in the billing department, but the phone was never answered.

We also attempted to utilize your chat features, but the system either lost connectivity or nobody answered on the other end. In addition, we also tried social media and I opened a Facebook chat. We did have someone call us back, but we were told that they needed to transfer us and we entered the same loop where nobody answered the phone for over an hour again. Collectively, my wife and I made well over ten attempts to connect with someone in the billing department of your company. I trust that you don’t need specifics, but if you do, I have them dated and timed.

I'm beyond disappointed and feel completely ripped off! This has nothing to do with the quality of your products but the way you treat humans is absolutely horrible. I will never buy another product from you again based on this experience and I will surely never endorse or recommend your company. I doubt I will ever see my refund but I hope from a business standpoint you address these issues as my experience is not isolated!

I responded to a popup message. to activate the VPN feature, which I did. Immediately following this, I was unable to print anything out on my printer. I contacted McAfee's customer service, asking how to inactivate the VPN. Their customer service rep couldn't direct me to an option on my McAfee account to inactivate their VPN feature. Instead she talked me through to my control panel to turn off VPN. but as I subsequently found out that is the VPN feature that comes with my Dell laptop. The printer problems continued, so I contacted HP support, and they helped me determine a solution, which is to manually turn off the McAfee VPN feature. However, I must take this manual step every time I turn on my laptop. Because my printer is beyond the original HP warranty, I had to pay a tech support fee for their help - but at least they were able to get me back to printing again. I called McAfee's customer service again, asking to be reimbursed the fee I paid to HP. Their rep then told me that HP didn't provide a complete solution and that there were several other steps I should have gone through with McAfee to solve the problem. The real problem is the flaw in the McAfee VPN feature that interferes with the connection between my laptop and my printer. The HP tech support rep that helped me informed me that HP is constantly running into the problem with McAfee's VPN feature.

I received an email from your company stating a purchase has been made for four years of security protection for my computer. The date was 2/7/2022 and the expiration date was 2/7/2026 and the amount was $469.99! I did not order this protection. I was looking for a free 30 day trial and that's all. Now I don't even want that. How this happened I have no idea but I want this straightened out. I have not received a download and I certainly don't want one! Please correct this mistake as soon as possible.I already have security protection.

I have supposed to have been my cancellation on April 25, 2023. I had a problem this AM and was told that McAfee had cancelled my account as my account was cancelled because I was not paid. My order was CS2596249976 and was datedSept 20,2002 and my protection was good until April 25, 2023

I purchased in error and have been trying to contact customer service 5 times and each time have been on hold for at least 30 to 45 minutes which is totally crazy. I want a refund and have heard it's really hard to get a live person to accomplish this. This was purchased on 2/3/22 , order #CS2954676916. The 5 times I called were over the days of 2/3, 2/4.

The computer I am using had a McAfee free trial on it when I took it over. I chose NOT to renew, and pay for, the McAfee protection since I have used them before and it was not a good experience. However, now a renewal notice pops up every few seconds, even though I have pressed 'don't show again'. It suggests I have countless viruses, but the only 'virus' is the pop up notices which prevent me using my computer properly. I would like it removed.

I am fed up each year I renew the system cancels the two weeks remaining and does not add this to the days remaining trying to call you 24/7 is a nightmare I have been a member since 2009 and the service is crap no one answers the phone says 24/7 just left on hold forever...

My email is bay.trees @btinternet.com says 364 days added yesterday but there was two weeks left on the previous subscription not been added on to days remaining why each year I have to call to get this put right why does your system automatically add up the correct days

I am on my fourth day of trying to reach someone in customer service, so far, I have been on hold so far for over 2 hours which is totally ridiculous! I only have 30 days to cancel McAfee Live and I need to actually speak to a person. I ended up purchasing it in error, I renewed my McAfee Totally protection plan and would like a refund on the McAfee LiveSafe. So far this morning I have been on hold over 30 minutes. It would make it so much easier if you would have an option online since no one wants to answer the phone.
