taking money out of my account after being told we did not want
on 29 december 2022 Mcafee took £84.99 out of my account, even after having to return my fee either last year or year before. We do not want anything to do with Mcafee & require the money you took out of our account without our permission returned ASAP. Bank will be told again not to pay Mcafee anything again & help get our money back ROBERT WATSON

Macafee virus protection
I canceled my Macafee account and had to cancel my credit card because Macafee kept trying to charge my card for something I did not want. I am now unable to get anything done on my computer due to the constant pop ups from Macafee. I have purchased another product and DO NOT WANT MACAFEE so please get off my computer or I will sue the company I have already spoken to an attorney I absolutely hate macafee company and would never do business with them again

Renewal plan that I did not agree to/ poor customer service skills.
I am forced to pay for an auto renewal that I did not agree to. I was told I was not allowed to speak to someone higher up because they do not take calls. I have always purchased the product from the store. I have had this issue before, and it was rectified. Now that this issue is occurring for a second time and you are throwing that this is policy bull crap at me, this will be the last time when this subscription is over that I will be a customer of McAfee. I am very dissatisfied with how the rude the customer service representative was from the very beginning. As soon as I told him what my issue was, he made me feel like well; and excuse my language, but he basically had this whole [censored] you to attitude, as if I had done something to him. Yes, I can say that maybe I then became a bit irate after his kiss my [censored] attitude showed up.
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a response and a refund.

Auto renewal was off, but I got a bill, 30 days before and McAfee turned ON auto renewal.
I turned OFF again and try to contact Customer. There is no way to do it!

January 23rd at approx. 4 am , turned on my computer and low and behold, McAfee has messages, viruses and I should Renew, give them my Credit card, when Chat lined them, they wanted to access my computer, what a buch of crooks,
Please report this to senior management, and third time this has happened, fed up with, "we will give your money back" nonsense tried within days new messages to renew, force you to get McAfee to fix the problem they create

Cancellation and a full refund
I'm a Canadian on vacation in Mexico for the winter. I want to cancel my subscription for Mcafee. I had an auto renewal on but I did not realize what the price would be as the site kept giving me the renewal amount in Mexican pesos. I have 60 days to cancel and receive a refund. The number I have to call Mcafee does NOT work from Mexico and there is no alternative that I can see. No email or live chat. IF there is such a thing, Mcafee has made it so difficult to find that I have had to give up after an hour of searching and intense frustration. It's not right and I feel the company is giving me no options despite their assurance of being able to get a refund.
I did find a chat feature, but only for technical support. I've tried all day to reach the billing department, but no one ever answers. I'm thinking of changing companies, but I don't even know how to cancel if you can't reach anyone.
Hacking into my computer
They hacked into my computer a month or so ago and I had to do a special program to get them out of my programs. Now they attached again. What is the matter with those people? STOP STUPID! I do not want McAfee and would never recommend them to anyone. If hacking into computers by illegal methods they should be banned from any online communication. NOW, get off my computer. I should not have to be running special programs to get these greedy companies stopped.
Desired outcome: I want them to stop getting into my computer by somehow slipping into my programs.
Total protection
Yesterday (01/08), I did receive an warning that my laptop was infected by 5 viruses and asking me to renew the protection contract.
I did it yesterday but the warning keeps coming and asking for me to renew the protection contract,
Plest let me know what to do to remove the viruses.

McAfee QR Code
I updated my E-Mail address and McAfee account on 3rd January 2023. The QR code you displayed returned with a Mediacraze site which I presumed was connected to McAfee and I filled in my details. I now realize this is a scam site. I do not want or use this Mediacraze. They will bill me within the next two or three days. Can you assist in cancelling the upcoming subscription to them?

0n the 24th DEC I paid my renewal fees for a year of £39.99 through PayPal. Afterward I tried to download the software but a notice popped up to say that a fault is stopping it being down loaded. Unfortunately it went of the screen before I could read it? Then on checking my bank statement I read that 2 payments of £39.99 on 30th Dec was deducted from my PayPal account to your company. So on balance I have paid twice for an order and received nothing? Could you please look into my complaint and while doing so is my comp covered for Viruses. If it cannot be resolved satisfactorily I will accept a full refund?
McAfee 2 year total protection
I paid £107 for for two years total cover. This was back in September/October of 2022. The security protection/subscription would not download. I was unable to download all the package, so I had to uninstall the whole app.
I have had no online protection because of the above.
The subsequent attempts I have made to contact and resolve this matter have been stopped because after paying for the two year protection/cover, all the help pages, in fact everything now appears in ITALIAN!?!
There are no pages online in ENGLISH. Why is this?
And now I have not only missed the time period within which to get a FULL REFUND, I am now experiencing online issues to STOP the AUTOMATED subscription.
Desired outcome: I want the automatic subscription stopped PERMANENTLY. I WANT A FULL REFUND because the security package NEVER DOWNLOADED successfully and I have had no protection having paid £107 for two years of protection.
switched to service associate company Jiniigram without being told by Mcaffee rep.
I called Mcaffee as I needed to renew from total protection to the premier plan, as I was never aware that total protection did not give me identity protection. Mcafee said my computer was infected and that he could give me the premier plan for 3 years for 279.00. I never was told that I was switched over to Jiniigram, a computer tech company, affiliated with Mcaffee! I was charged 279.00 to my credit card ending in 8836. Little did I know that they were charging me for service to my computer besides Premier, which was all that I wanted. Misrepresentation and upselling without fully informing customer that he was no longer dealing direct with Mcaffee. Requesting refund, and then I can continue with Premier for only 1 computer or device at best price for 1 or 2 years only! Someone at Mcaffee needs training or a talking to for not fully informing consumer what he is getting. I will await your reply before pursuing this further. Thank you [protected]@aol.com [protected]

I am absolutely furious, you have once again broken into my Computer and added your Security. This is the second time that you have done it. I have searched my Programs and cannot find it but every time that I try to Log on your Virus Warning comes up. Because I cannot find it I cannot Delete it. I am based in the UK. I took out a subscription on 2 December and realized that I already had one and wanted to cancel my recently purchased subscription and get a refund. There is no working facility on McAfee to do this.. I am advised that - You are not entitled to self-refunds under the Fair Consumer Contracts Act (FCCA). Please call customer support at [protected] for additional assistance.

This is not what I am experiences. There is no opportunity to talk to an actual person and the digital 'customer services' is not able to get an agent although I have asked several times.

Computer security software by McAfee
I attempted to download McAfee onto my laptop. Twice it wouldn't download. I sent them emails and each time it came back that their mailbox was full. It took me a long time to find a telephone number but eventually I did. Their technical department couldn't get it to download either. I spent well over an hour dealing with them. I have now received charges for downloading McAfee onto my laptop but I never got it and their techs couldn't get it to download either. I asked them to remove their ads which keep coming up and refund the money they had charged. They informed me that because I was past 30 days they could not refund me. How can they charge me for something I never got? They did say they could remove the automatic renewal for me. I want to them to stop popping up on my laptop. I close their ad and it just comes up again right away. I can't enjoy my laptop with this constantly happening. I have since received emails saying my complaint has been resolved.

Complaint
I was scammed into purchasing a subscription for my computer. I received pop ups again and again one day saying my computer had been compromised. It told me I should purchase McAfee to remove the viruses. I purchased and installed the software and ran the scan. No viruses. It was a total scam to make me purchase their software and I already had a subscription. When I received my credit card bill, I had 2 charges, one on Sept 9th for an auto renew and one on September 18 for the scam I was unable to receive a refund as by the time I called, it was past the refund date. So now I have 2 subscriptions. They extended my service one more year, but I paid for 2 years anyway. I thought this company was supposed to protect you, not scam you.
McAfee Total Protection service
I purchased the total protection service on Sept 15, 2022. For the past week or more I get a warning that my system has been compromised and I need to do a scan. I do that and the reply is that my subscription has expired.
I sent you a payment of $60.66 CAD to McAfee Consumer Affairs North, LLC via papal_ [protected]@mcafee.com September 15, 2022.

Double payment made for annual fee.
Annual fee Rs.999/- was deducted twice by my Bank. Your Invoice No.DC3139483691 dt. 11/6/2022 for Rs.999/- was given wheareas for the payment made on 11/5/2022 was not given. More over this is not activated as I am getting critical virus alerts the moment the pc is opened which is disturbing.
Reguest immediate steps to refund of additional amount paid ie., Rs.999 and Immediate activation.

Customer subscription renewal
Mcafee have taken £99,99 out of my bank account on November 4th. I have been unable to read their recent e mails and did not realise that my renewal was due especially the automatic renewal situation. I want to cancel my account and obtain a refund. My local computer shop say that they can remove the present Mcafee from my computer and instal a new one for about £40. Whenever I try to phone Mcafee and press number 1 on the phone keyboard all I get is endless music.
