Mavis in Hopewell Junction NY installed two different size tires on my 2017 Jeep Cherokee. My wife noticed a thumping sound and we took it to our mechanic who noticed the two wrong size tires, but not before damage was done to the car (See attached). We had to pay $1254.90 to make the car drivable with the warning that further damage may have been done to the Rear Differential, but we would need to drive it for a bit to see. Turns out that they were right and the car got progressively worse, and now we are facing another $5200 to change the Rear Differential to drive the car. What competent mechanic installs two different size tires on a car?
