I went to Mavis tires and Brakes and the tire technician put the wrong size (2) tires on the front of my Black in color 2017 Ford Explorer vehicle and then advised me after the fact and the Manager advised "Derlin" African-American Female it was a done deal and I would have pay for the service. I advise her why didn't she advised before the tech put on the wrong size tires and she advised that she was not going to question the customer and she advised that she felt that would confrontation if she advised the customer of the wrong size tires. Ms Derlin was arguing back and forth with another female customer around the same time when she advised that she was charge me for installing for tires on two tires. Ms Derlin advised since I requested to take back off the wrong size (2) tires she was going to charge me for installing (4) tires. I asked her how much and she advised 39.00, so I used my Visa card thinking I was only going to be charged $39.00 and tax and when the receipt was printed out, Ms Derlin charged me $171.56. I inquired why and Derlin advised that I that the tires should have never been put on if they were incorrect. The other advised that Derlin was very rude and she very unprofessional advising her that she was going to charge me full price because her technician had to take the wrong tires back off. Ms Derlin went on to say that she has been in the tire business for 26 years and I should have had the right size tires and she does not question the customer's request to put on tires, right or wrong. This behavior of Ms Derlin was very unprofessional and unbecoming of a "26" year veteran in the tire business. There was several customers in the store at the time of my complaint.
This was not a good experience for me and I consider myself a valued customer.
