Marriott International - theft

My daughter stayed her in July 2010 on a school trip. When she was on the bus to come home she realized she had left some of her things in her room. She called me on her cell phone then I called the hotel. They told me they had her items and needed my credit card number to ship the items. I received a pillow and pillow case that was not my daughters. I have called numerous time and they can not seem to find her things. The house keepers were the ones who said they had it. So where is the approximately $75 worth of things. The hotel management won't return my phone calls or talk to me to find my daughters things. I would highly recommend for everyone to watch out for their things if they stay here.
