tv screen and customer service does not apply the roles
Dear Sir,
I am writing to express my annoyance and to complain of having an unsatisfactory response to my claim submitted to the customer service of the local LG Company in Egypt.
On 24th of January, during the Sale time, I bought a smart TV- 49LK5730- set to use in my new home as I got married in March 2019.Since I went to the honey moon vacation outside Egypt for almost a month, my husband and me, have been using the TV for only one month starting from the beginning of April 2019 till the first of May when suddenly the TV was interrupted and the photo was disrupted for unknown reason. At that time, I made a phone call to the customer service to help and send someone to see and investigate the problem but they refused to do so and they asked me instead to send them a photo for the screen through their WhatsApp., which I did immediately. An answer from them was received telling me that the screen is broken and this is not included in the warranty. I replied instantly: no body hit the TV screen, nobody pressed on the screen and no signs of damage appeared on the screen, and that is not our fault and it is a manufacture problem, but they insisted to say it's my fault and I was shocked when they asked me to pay 9500LE for replacing the screen because it is made in Korea; as they said and the shipment will be added to the costs; despite that the TV itself costs less than this price. Actually, this is not true as written behind the panel "made in Egypt". Anyway, and now I know your company has a very good reputation and supportive enough and this leads me writing you. Also, the item is in the warranty period and this problem is not my fault; I'm quite sure you can handle such issue and bring up the solution in a short period.

I have bought new cloths washing machine, brand name is LG.
Every time I use the machine, I find a leakage (water with washing soap) is coming out from it during the washing steps...
I called the customer service center to send me a maintenance technician to find out what is the problem… different technicians visited me two times but in vain…and in the third visit, the technician told me that the problem is in the washing cabins…
An order was made by the company(LG) to change the washing cabins for my cloths washing machine for free (because I still have the grantee for my machine and the defect is classified as an industrial defect)..
But during change the defected washing cabins by the new one, the maintenance technician of the company (LG) found a corrosion in the outer and in the inner body of the machine (because of the delay in changing the defected washing cabins due to the wrong analysis of the first two visits of the maintenance technicians which led to that corrosion phenomenon to my machine).
The LG company has offered to change (only) the outer body of the machine for free (because I still have the grantee for my machine and the defect is classified as an industrial defect), and it did...
But the company refused to change the inner corroded body (it offered a treatment for the corrosion of the inner body, for free).
Then after I made a complaint through the http://ethics.lg.co.kr/realName/en/insertDetailForm.do
The LG Company has made a call with me (three months ago) and agreed with me to change my defected washing machine (for free) with another new one that used in the showrooms (because the used washing machine that used in the showrooms cannot be sold to clients, as they informed me).
But they did not do so until now…
Can you please help me to make them keep their promise and do the agreement (change my defected washing machine (for free) with another new one that used in the showrooms, as they offered to me.

I learned that the model AC above has been recalled and needs professional repair. I made dozens of attempts to contact LG via on line at www.lgportableacrecall.com and via phone calls to try to get my unit repaired. My unit was purchased 2 years ago online as a refurbished unit. Regardless of it being refurbished, I purchased it as a new unit and the fact that its wiring may cause a fire, my unit still needs repair. I cannot fill out form at above mentioned recall website, and when I finally spoke to someone from Customer Service, they connected me to another number. I then got a voicemail. I left a full message explaining that I need to get my unit repaired as it has been recalled. I left model and serial number and all my information. After several weeks, I still have not gotten a response. I am 75 years old and the summer is passing and still no AC!

I have a Refrigerator that i bought from LG and it broke. It took them 4 tries and month later. Here i am 2 months later and still broken and no resolution. They were going to compensate with me for money which i haven't seen and blow smoke that resoultions take time and its on its way. So here i am no refrig and wasted money on food. I would like a full refund plus compensation for food loss 2 times.

I have my refrigerator 4 years. I took out a 5 year extended warranty. On June 26, 2019, I called for the 2nd time about problem with ice maker and deterioration also happened on my freezer coils, not producing enough cold and eventually the upper refrig. The repairman said it was unrepairable, citing that he has had multiple cases like mine within 2-3 years after purchase. He put a call in to Lowes about the service call, they dropped the ball and never contacted LG to send out their service man. I finally called Lowes, they made an appointment for LG to come out to look at the refrig. on July 9th, 2 weeks after my first visit from the extended warranty repairman. I do not want this part replaced, because I think this is a LEMON! I would like to be credited for this refrig. so I can get another one at Lowes. A repair will just prolong my pain. I do no want another LG refrig.! Please help me get a new refrigerator as soon as possible, no one should have to endure being without a refrigerator for weeks, after spending $1483 just 4 years ago!

I recently purchased a house with a 3 year old LG side by side refrigerator. The very night we moved in the fridge stopped working. I called LG Customer Service, and finally a week later A & E Service showed up to look at the fridge. They said the compressor was bad and had to be ordered. Another week passed and they came to install the compressor, then said it wasn't the compressor, there was a leak. They claimed to have fixed it and left. The fridge never cooled down. I called daily trying to get LG to set up another service call, and even called A & E Service, but nothing was done. Multiple times I was put on hold for 20+ minutes and finally had to hang up. First of all in my opinion, an expensive refrigerator should last longer than 3 years, so it doesn't say much for LG's quality. Secondly, their service is by far worse than their quality.
In the end I had to purchase a new refrigerator, and you can rest assured it was not a LG product, nor will I ever purchase anything made by LG in the future.

I called LG customer service for a repair on a faulty refrigerator on July 1, 2019.
I was given an appointment for a service call of July 2, 2019 between 12& 5.
Since this is the 2nd time in less than a year that this LEMON OF A REFRIGERATOR stopped cooling I wanted today but gladly accepted tomorrow. I was sent a text message to my phone [protected] confirming the appointment. Unfortunately I received a phone call later this afternoon from A & E factory service that they couldn't be here until July 9, 2019. That is over a week away. This is the second time in less than a year this LEMON OF A REFRIGERATOR has totally stopped cooling causing me to lose all of my freezer & refrigerated food.
LG needs to pay for an emergency service call for this LEMON OF A REFRIGERATOR that I have been stuck with. LG should pay for all of my groceries that were lost from both times this LEMON OF A REFRIGERATOR has failed to cool.
LG should pay for my family to go out to eat 3 times a day for the next week or schedule an emergency service call for this FAULTY LEMON OF A REFRIGERATOR>
Shame on you LG, shame on you.
This is not some stupid cell phone or TV, IT'S A REFRIGERATOR. FIX IT ASAP
I am filing a complaint with every entity I can find.

LG has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I had a TV for 2 months and it quit working. I have been trying to get it repaired/replaced for THREE months now and it's still not working. It's officially been broken longer than it worked. I've made numerous phone calls and have had no luck. I will never buy LG again.
Exact same thing is happening to us. Bought 65 inch TV on March 6, 2019 from Best Buy and it stopped working in May 2019. Worst "customer service" I have ever experienced in my fifty years because every single agent and Supervisor I spoke with are flat out LIARS! They put you off over and over again. Made us send them our receipt at least five times. They promise to resolve but never do just lie after lie. Crooked, shady and disgusting human beings. Have a warranty with your LG purchase...think again, you do not.

I realize the warranty has expired, but when I smelled melting plastic coming from the fridge, I noticed the plastic around the light bulbs melting and the light shining out was so bright and hot. Everything around it was melting. The cover was falling down from melting. Unable to reach the plug, my husband tried to remove the bulbs only to get burned. I turned off the breaker and allowed the area to cool. We removed the bulbs and turned the breaker back on. We are using the fridge without lights. there is still a burnt smell inside and evidence of the heat. I contacted LG today only to be given the phone numbers of repairment to check the fridge. Since reading several complaints online and knowing LG was aware of this problem, we assumed they would make good on this problem. WRONG! I would be responsible for the entire repair. If they would have done a recall, it would have been resolved years ago. We want to sell our house, this will be a problem. LG has good products, but if they aren't proud of their product and willing to back their product, they will lose lots of business. This has not been our only problem. We've paid for all our other repairs out of pocket. I feel this could have resulted in a house fire and we could have died, come on LG, get with it.

I purchased my bluetooth headset from Best Buy less than a year ago. They told me I had to return to the manufacturer for a replacement or to be repaired. I contacted LG to report that my headset was not working on the left side earbug. I followed their instructions on providing proof of purchase and they sent me a Fed-ex label to return it. I sent it on a Thursday and it was returned to me on Friday. I was shocked that they had responded so quickly. To my surprise, they sent my headset back stating that their was no proof of purchase. My proof of purchase was submitted to LG online before the Fed-ex label was sent to me. I contacted customer service again, sent proof of purchase again and I was sent another Fed-ex label toreturn it. Once again the package was on my doorstep 2 days later. Once again I thought my headset was repaired or replaced. This time the message read "ABUSE-PHYSICAL DAMAGE".
I am so disappointed that there was no attempt to repair or replace my headset and to be insulted by stating Physical Abuse by me. The fact of the matter is poor quality on the behalf of the manufacturers. The LG company has refused to repair or replace my headset.
Do not believe them on their warranty promises. They do not honor their warranties. I spoke to Alex on of the customer service reps and asked to speak to a manager. I spoke to Joy (a supervisor) who refused to do anything about the situation. She stated that the warranty was voided because the technicans stated that the headset was ABUSE-PHYSICAL DAMAGE. They took no responsibilty on the damages that happened was the cause of poor quality in the workmanship of the product. LG OBVIOUSLY DO NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANITIES. I will never purchace their products again.

My LG refrigerator that is under warranty has had issues since March. I've had A&E onsite multiple times and as of today, the unit is not working and we will lose food yet again due to spoilage. To date, we've lost $100s of dollars due to food going bad. My understanding is form A&E is that nearly $2k has been spent on parts alone. They were out again today and ordered $900+ in parts because the unit shorted out again. Everyone I speak with at LG acts like a robot and I've experienced zero empathy. Three months without a working refrigerator does not feel like much of a "warranty". I would like someone to call me to discuss how this can be remedied ASAP.
rebate never received

I purchased LG appliance package products on 4-25-18 and it had a $700.00 worth of rebates: one from NECO and one from LG of which never arrived.
My appliances arrived at my house 5-25-18, I wrote the serial number on the rebate form and rushed it to the post office because it had to be post marked by 4-25 of which it was. I unfortunately did not make a copy of the rebate form. there was no time and I had no resource to make copies. I did NOT have access to a computer. After several months I called LG and asked about my rebate. after many, many attempts I still get the run around. some people say it was sent, others say give it a few more weeks. So now a year later and I am still awaiting my rebate of $300.00! as of last phone call to LG I was told they never received my rebate! What can I do to get my rebate back!

lg front loader washing machine
We purchased the LG front loading washing machine 11/27/17 and have had nothing but problems since we bought it. First, the washing machine wasn't balanced and would "walk" into the middle of my laundry room. After spending 3 months trying to get a repair company to come out under warranty, from the LG website, someone finally found that the weight that keeps the drub balanced wasn't attached at all and was at the bottom of the unit. Now, after less than 2 years of owning the washing machine, it won't drain water. There is no clogs in the hoses or pump, so the pump now needs to be replaced. I am shocked that the pump would not last even 2 years. We would NEVER purchase another LG product. Our old Front loading washing machine lasted 10+ years with little to no repairs. This is ridiculous and the customer service is horrible.
soundbar and subwoofer
I sent in my soundbar for repair in Jan 2019 it is now June and I haven't got it back or been reimbursed for it as I was promised I paid $140.00 for this and all I have is the receipt they have stole the soundbar and subwoofer. I talked to a manager or supervisor in april she told me it had been so long they were going to reimburse me for the product to send a copy of receipt. When I Called High Teck they didn't even know they were scheduled to come. Waiting for the parts..Finally after a week the part came in and the thechnition came over took the tv apart...and said there was something non repairable with this TV...and agreed it was a lemon from the beginning...
I can't even begin to tell you how I felt...
No one was going to help me..I can't afford wasting money this way...
So, I was so frustrated that I dragged the TV on the curbside for the garbage to pick it up...and tell everyone how you treat your customers

The dishwasher was not operating efficiently as before. The service centre sent a technician to check appliance. After checking he decided to change some spare part. The same problem with dishwasher was existing. After following with customer support. They took the dishwasher to service centre for 5 full days and returned it in bad conditions, the screws were not tightened after they disassembled it. Currently, the dishwasher is not efficient enough and costed 850 LE for spare part and service.
We tried to followup with customer service but no support was provided yet form their side to identify problem.

Purchased product from Home Depot. It has not been 3 years and the compressor is gone on the frig.Contacted Home Depot on 5/30/20019. The service was out sourced to A& E Factory Repair 800-905-9505. On 5/31/2019, refrigirator was NOT fixed parts were needed. Contacted about when the parts were to come and the service date as the repair guy was not clear on that upon leaving. After another appointment and several calls, tracking down how may boxes I was waiting for to assure everthing was avaliable for the appoint ment. I had a confirmed service 6/7/2019, this apointment was late; not within the window by far just as the first appointment; however the services guy this time was informative and made me aware of 6/17/2019 servcie dates with parts to arrive within 6/10-6/14 as more parts were needed. Locked in service date 6/17/2019, A&E canceled and moved to 6/24/2019 with unknown time. I called beacause I was contacted on my home phone thinking the young lady miss spoke. NO, service date was switched.
Issues:
A&E does not come when they are scheduled to, does not make calls to estabilish running late etc.
It will be 6 days short of a month given they can repair on 6/24/2019.
I have spoken to several representatives from A&E Repair and have either been hung up on or they have just been down right rude. I requested they locate another service provider nothing.
My contact numbers that I called from so the calls can be pulled and listen to are [protected] and [protected] perdominatly.
NO FRIG for 6 days short a month if they really come on 6/24/2019 when my appointment was 6/7/2019.
