This will be my second contact with your company. I went to Les Schwab to get my breaks done. They said they did my brakes replaced a brake booster and master cylinder. The brakes did not work correctly and my tires were covered with brake dust and the breaks were red hot after only driving a couple blocks to my home. After taking my truck back due to repeated brake problems I was told that it was my tires and that was the problem for the brakes not working correctly. They replaced the tires and the rims saying the tires were too big and the rims were too big yet I'd never had a problem prior to this. I then went into debt not only $2,500 for the brake job but $1,500 for the new rims and tires. I was still having a problem with the brakes when they discovered that it was actually the brake booster that they had put on my truck and it was faulty. They had already disposed of my tires. So I never needed new tires and rims at all. But I needed tires in order to leave the lot and they were now on new rims. I don't feel I should have to pay for my tires or my rims because they were never the problem. How do you feel about this?
Sincerley,
A no longer customer of Les schwab
Claimed loss: Unneeded wheels and tires
Desired outcome: I would like to not be charged for the wheels and tires. I would have gladly taken my old tires back but they had already been disposed of by the time Les Schwab realized it was their fault
