Kroger review: customer service

purchased my item and even asked the lady if this was product that I could return if my fiance didn't want. However 2 days later when I went to return the item unopened with original recipet and Kroger number they would not accept my return stating that 20$ was to much to return. I told them I was informed different and in fact was very rude to me and wrote all over my recipet saying it was unreturnable. I was more than embarrassed and very frustrated. I spend lots of money at this store and my Kroger card shows that Im not sure why I was treated so poorly.
