KIA Motors review: Extended engine warranty on GDI Motor

On July 9, 2026, a 2016 KIA Sorento towed to Stokes & Hodges, 5425 Jefferson Davis HWY, Beech Island, SC 29842. The SUV qualifies for the extended warranty that was issued by KIA on certain vehicles. VIN# 5XYPG4A35GG058443 is the Class Vehicle. The SUV has been at the referenced location without any communication or being checked for the mechanical issues for 12 days. Technician Brian has not submitted PAPERWORK for the work and disclaimed there may not be a loaner to drive! What good is the service/recalls/warranties when they are selected based on actual monetary collected.

Desired outcome: Replaced the engine as required by the Extended Engine Warranty issued by KIA on GDI engines.
