I bought a 2018 Lincoln MKC from WB Lincoln on 04/23
I bought a 2018 Lincoln MKC from WB Lincoln on 04/23. They told us that the transmission and engine had just been replaced, which made us feel good about our decision to buy it. We thought we were getting a brand new transmission and motor. In my experience, most dealers inspect used vehicles before selling them, and they said they did too. But when we took the car home, we heard a whining sound coming from the transmission. We called the dealer, and they suggested it could be the turbo charge, but told us to bring it in. When we brought it in, they discovered that the car had a bad transmission. The same one they claimed to have just replaced! If they had actually done a proper inspection before selling it, like they said they did, they would have noticed the dirty and burnt transmission fluid. That's a clear sign that something is wrong! If we had known this, our decision to buy the car would have been different. I have attached the paperwork as proof. I spoke to the general manager at WBL Lincoln, and my impression of him was that he was arrogant and unsympathetic. I later found out that this is the third transmission they have put in the car.
