I purchased a NEW KIA SOUL in 2015 from Perris, CA. Dealership.
I have 42, 931 miles on the car with full warranty which I'm paying for.
I would like service Department to take responsibility for charging me for the service and also for the incorrect diagnosis regarding Error Code P050A which the car came up with at the service dept, back on 11/06/2019. I replaced the cabin and engine air filters as instructed by Kia Service. The check engine came on 3 times and my husband who is a mechanic said he oulled up the same code as KIA and they need to check the Mass air control sensor. Which they finally repaired and know check engine light at this time 01/02/2020.
My complaint is all the service dept did was clear the engine codes on 11/06/2019 and fuel induction service to clean out carbon build up. I keep getting excusses to use a better octain gas. I should not have to worry about what gas I need to use and was not told this detail when I purchased the car. Which leaves me to believe I purchased a car that I can not use with out certain gas.
On 12/26/2019 I returned to service dept. and they replace the masss idle air control sensor. I do not have the check engine light coming on.
My question to whom it may concern is why I was charged for the first visit on 11/06/2019 for the amount of $164.80 when this is a WARRENTY ISSUE. I sure hope someone will repond to my complaint. Lets make this right.
