Joe's Crab Shack review: Manager

For Dinner Serivce my family and I planned to go to Joe's Crab Shack in Daytona Beach. We were on vacation and we were a party of 16. Since this group size is a typical we called ahead. I understand that the establishment does not take reservations. But what I do not understand is when I called ahead to give a head up that a party of 16 was coming and I also came 30 mins ahead of my party however. The host told us a it would be a 2 hour wait. What was more disturbing was that the manager told the host not to break the party of 16 until smaller tables to seat us faster. This was a huge issue because when I called ahead we were told everything is OK and they will see us in 30 mins. We have older people 80+ in iur group so them walking back and forth was horrible. We don't know why our party was Discriminated against, either our size or our race since we were the only black family in the establishment.
