Totally dysfunctional
On 03/03/2024 my wife and I spent 10 minutes in line at their new location in Smiths Station Alabama at which time th manager informed us and several others that she could not take any more orders to short staffing. Today 03/05/2024 we gave them one more try, this time at the drive through. Got to the window and I asked for a receipt and was told they had no receipt paper. I then asked why the order was over 1 dollar more than advertised and I was told (after a back and forth) that they were out of regular sized cups which meant I was overcharged with no advanced notice. Staff was unprofessional and manager was condescending.
Recommendation: Find another place to eat or roll the dice!
Jack's in Helena AL
We had been seeing commercial for chicken bites and mac n cheese. Went to get 3 of them. A guy inside with a pink Hoodia on, picked them up and smashed them up against his stomach. Brought them to me with no bag and acted like I was a bother to get one. Long story short I asked for a refund he kept arguing with me as to why I wanted the manager. I finally got a refund but it was a fight to get it.

This has to be the worst Jack's in the state. Everytime I come here, order is wrong, food isn't cooked right and now im sitting here watching alot of goofing around. Trying to pick up a mobile order that was placed 20 min prior to arrival and is no where close to ready. Im done coming here. Unfortunately, I have witnessed a lot of Jack's restaurants taking this path. This just solidifies my reason for not wanting Jack's anymore.
The manager that was there had her children sitting at the counter. 1 of which was seen jumping up on the counter to get a cup which I actually got on video. 2 employees were hugging up on one another and the others were goofing off. This was a late night order, but in my experience, as long as your door is open for business, it should be run as such. I placed my order online at 9pm and I arrived at 9:15 and didnt get food until 9:40.

As I was confirming this morning 4-5-25, my order inside at 2025 Lincoln blvd-11am, I asked the person at the counter to cut my 2 Jumbo jacks in half. He says to me that they have already been made and he couldn’t cut in in half? The after about 30 seconds he grabs a plastic knife and gives it to the person in the back preparing the food. Harassment of store manager Iuka MS
About 1.5 months ago I went through Jack's. Placed my order. the lady on the mic asks me a question which I cannot understand. After four attempts I pull forward and and said "I am sorry mam, but I could not understand what you are asking me." He response was "Yea sure!" the manger then took her place stating you know what we were saying- to which I said no I did not! I was at this point I realize all these folks were pissed off. The manger said she was asking about dipping sauce. I said well sure I will have a thousand Island. He heads to to frig and says aloud to his two employees "now he wants dipping sauce" I said basically are calling me a liar- his retorts became NO SIR, NO SIr in a very condescending tone. I finally got out of there without a physical confrontation. But left detailing how I felt about him.
Over a month or so passed and yesterday I stopped and placed my order " #3 no pickles or ketchup sandwich only- she repeats it back-yes. Then she says "what to drink with that- nothing- what to drink with that-nothing three time. On the forth I said nothing just a sandwich. Condescending again she says pull around. I did she took my money, I said thank you and made eye contact with the manager and nasty side kick from last time. The lady told me to pull over we have not meat cooked pull into the handi capped spot. I said thanks her your welcome- About 20 minutes later cars ordering a leaving- the manager came out ( I knew [censored] was about to happen) handed my sandwich I sat that in right seat opened it- Ice cold-> I looked over he had left window and said into his mic- again SMART [censored] mouth your welcome and laughed or said something it his mic. At this point I had no interaction with him. I said hey, what did you just say?' he walked off talking into his mic. Once inside he went to the drive in window and a verbal confrontation began. He left the widow at a very fast pace came through the door headed to my vehicle- apparently ready to take on a fight. Now he is mid-20's entitled and I am 100% DAV (vietnam) With tinnitus, loss of hearing, PTSD, and 69yrs old. A he came closer i got out and picked up a tool to protect myself. He stopped, only smart thing he has ever done and make no mistake I was more than ready to defend my self. I told him all you had to do was shut up, hand me my sandwich, and walk away. He says OVER NO SIr NO sir, to everything at that point I assume so that's what the tape will hear. he calls the police and a friend of mine from church came out and we talked for a second and I left. This manager when he say me- was 100% wanting to start a fight, was going to get what he asked for and I assume going to file a restrain in order or other. Now I am a broken down ole vet minding my own business saying nothing to this man. I do not plan to ever visit this Jack's. I promise you this man is a stain on your brand and has his employees trained to be the same. He may file charges I cant stop him, I attorney was at the police station, and I never heard anything back. I will counter sue if he files- The AWDA protects seniors for such abuse not to mention a senior old man having to stand his ground against a pending assault will look great on your corporate image. The manager and employees - are not in the people business. they don’t bring your food out to you when you’re waiting. This jacks by far is worst with the rude manager named stephanie that closes inside of restaurant on sunday and left drive thru open only which is backing up traffic n road and blocking access to get out on any roads and to has station,there shouldnt be any reason to close the inside of store. In Greenville, Mississippi, Jack’s restaurant is cutting corners trying to make the timing look good at the drive-through window. Every time I go through the drive-through I pay and I’m giving my drink and I’m told to pull up and wait because of the timer. I have specifically asked, am I being pulled up because y’all don’t want to pass the time y’all aren’t supposed to pass while I’m sitting here waiting on my food and the answer I was given was yes mam that’s correct. That is fine. I don’t mind pulling up and waiting. However, this morning the line had three people in it. They had them all pulled up, waiting on their food with the third person being in front of the window. I was told I was going to have to come in and place my order. I am assuming this is because of the timer. I thought maybe I heard them wrong, and gave them the benefit of the doubt so I drove around and came back to the speaker and I was told come inside to order your food. I was on a time schedule and did not have time to park and come inside and order so as I’m typing this I’m sitting in the McDonald’s drive-through.
Like I said, I don’t mind waiting for my food because I want it done right however, I don’t want to be inconvenienced because they are trying to get good scores on their timing. If the timing is so bad that they need to fake it, then they need to change something to fix it. Thank you for your time. Please excuse any errors as I use voice recognition to type this out.

My family and I love the food at jacks but the cleanliness and service is getting bad. Yesterday my son in law said the place was so dirty. Today I went after church. Bathroom dirty. Again no inbone chicken. Guy not friendly. Wet and dirty by order counter and enclosed picture of eating area. Was not too busy. I said you know this place is a mess don't you? He said I apologize we've mopped that twice but mopped wet paper towels under seating counter. I said what about bathroom and spill in eating area. Again I apologize I wasn't aware. I'm a sr I don't make much. If I'm paying good money I wasn't good food and a clean dining experience. Have a lobby person always. I know about bottom lines I also know what happens when amazing places don't stay amazing
The manager was very short and rude
The manager working at Jack's location on Lorna road Hoover. on Saturday morning at 9:09 am was a low down black female. she was terrible in the drive thru. when I asked for her to come to the window. she told her employees to tell me "No". that's when I called her the stupid [censored] she was. and from there the cursing began. your store was full of customers. she told me to get the [censored] out of her mother [censored]ing drive thru. amongst much more ...like the spending customer was wrong for simply asking her to come to the window. she needs to be fired. I could tell she has the whole staff walking on eggshells. ILL NEVER GO TO A JACKS AGAIN!

My daughter has been working at jacks for a while she decided to go back after leaving because the management was awful so she went to another jacks (no better) anyway she changed banks because she was having problems with her bank and missing money so wen she changed over she was told it will be 7 days till she gets paid cause payroll was already done well it's been two weeks and she still hasn't got paid yet. And the manager at this store( Hokes bluff,Al) seems unconcerned about if she gets paid or not . She has bills just like they do. People complain if ur bills not paid on time but wat can u do wen the place u work for don't pay you, and don't try to help you figure out why u haven't gotten paid. Need mind you my daughter may work there ( for now) but I don't go there for nothing not even for water

Delicious Burgers and Friendly Service at Jack's Family: A Review
y. But when Jack's Family is open, it's worth the wait. The burgers are juicy and the fries are crispy. I always get the classic cheeseburger with a side of onion rings. The staff is friendly and always greets you with a smile. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. I also love their milkshakes, especially the chocolate one. The only downside is that the seating area is a bit small, so it can get crowded during peak hours. Overall, Jack's Family is a great spot for a quick and delicious meal.
7/13 2023 I placed a food order to pick up from Jacks Family Restaurant in Somerville Alabama. Went to pick up and they said they never got the order but my card was charged 3 times anyway. Jacks will not resolve issue.
