You are basically paid just for driving, barely, the customer tip is the majority of what you are paid. The work of shopping for the items isnt really accounted for. I'm not going to shop for 50 items AND DRIVE just to get paid $7 from instacart. Exploitative. They thought a $5 bonus was enough to justify all the driving when gas is expensive, its not. NOBODY is allowed to reach a perfect 5 rating. I sat at 4.98 for months and had a streak of 5 star reviews, but no...nobody gets 5. Thought I finally had a woman-friendly job but no, women's work is never paid.

Recommendation: use a different app
