Huntington Bank review: Ridiculous

I have nothing good to say about this bank. Fifteen years ago, a transfer went haywire and they hit me with 4 NSF fees and refused to even budge on looking at it. So i closed my accounts there and planned to never return. Went to Chemical Bank, which got bought out by TCF, then by Huntington, so now i'm stuck with them again. Reluctantly opened a checking with them as paying the mortgage from an external account was laborious. Since that time, i've had several instances of returned payments that they claim were for NSF or "account does not exist"...this is the same checking i have had for years, and i have never had NSF or even low balances on it. Results in long drawn-out calls or chats getting them to look into it (after sifting through the ridiculous robo chat at the beginning, GIVE ME A REAL HUMAN BEING), after which they realize that oh, they messed up, they will reverse it.

Also opened up a trust a few years ago, went to the branch to have my account placed on the trust for the beneficiaries...the MANAGER didn't know what she was doing, messed around for 45 minutes before deciding to open a trust account (which is explicitly what i said i was NOT doing), sent us out the door. They call back a week later and say "oh, um, hmm, that manager was wrong, we see what you were trying to do"...we had to come back into the branch 20 miles away so they could fix it. Lots of wasted time over something that should have taken 5 minutes. I have no faith in this bank whatsoever.
