At 7.50 pm on Thursday 21 November I went to hungry jacks drive thru I ordered the family meal of burgers which is two whoopers two cheese burgers fries and nuggets and drinks the young girl said there was no meat burgers only chicken and vegan burgers I said really ok then I will do the vegan burgers that's fine thought its new might as well try it girl was polite drive to next window thankyou progressed to next window was paying with card girl went to process my payment of $26.00 there eftpos machine wasn't working so she asked if I had cash check my purse I had $20.50 Soi said I have this amount that's it she said I can give you two meals I said no I ordered the family meal I have kids I need to feed it was late we had a late dinner I want what I ordered your machine isn't working this is not my fault I'm happy to give you the $20.50 put a note in the till and explain what has happened she said ok drive to next window so next window I think she was the duty manager she came to window with my $20.50 and said the bill was $26.00 I told her what had happened I said I'm more than happy to just have the food and leave the drinks out but it was late and I need to feed my children she said that was fine no problem you can have the drinks .so she passed the drinks to me said thankyou all was good, then a 3rd staff member delivered our meal well very angry young girl gave me a death stare did not say a word almost threw the bag of food at me I just looked at her in shock she did not make any eye contact with me did not say a word and walked off .i said to my daughter they must all be talking about me coz I only had the $20.50 on me .i thought something wasn't right I said to my daughter as we were taking off check the bag in the bag was two burgers and two chips and our four drinks that the duty manager had pass to us at the beginning so I had to go round round the block to go back in to let them know I went into the store with the bag and the drinks lovely young girl at counter greeted me very polite I explained that I ordered the family meal of burgers and didn't receive all well this girl came from the service window and said did you pay for it I looked at her and said yes I did I relized she was the girl who threw the bag of food at me .the poor girl that I went up to she was so nice she apologised turned to the counter behind and yes there were the other burgers and nuggets she apologised again and gave me my meal I said thankyou and asked what the other girls name was the poor girl was so embarrassed by this girls behaviour she went all red and was nervous was not a pleasant work environment for her or a good experience for me and my daughter at this point we had a rough night that's why we were eating so late I hope this girl gets a talking to she should be glad to have a job and earn money she would not be a person I would want front of house with her attitude bad for business I say there is great kids out there that would love the opportunity she has been given her name was Chelsea.This is not what I would normally do but I thought about this and I am sure she thought she would get me by giving me half my order as she was on the last window putting food in the bags and passing it to the customer and for her to come over when I walked in and say that to me I was embarrassed as there were people in there buying food any way I have that off my chest after talking to people at work they told me to email you so you know what your staff are like all the other girls were all polite it was just this Chelsea girl cheers
