Regus uses deceptive sales practices and unfair billing. The original sales representative aggressively pushed me to sign a contract for a co-working space at another office I had never physically seen, because her office was full. To secure my signature, she explicitly stated and promised that the contract was strictly contingent upon me touring the other facility I had never seen and approving the reserved space first. Regus scheduled a tour over email, but I experienced unavoidable child care issues that morning and I called the office to request to reschedule. Following that, the representative abandoned communication over email and never attempted to reschedule the tour or hand over keys. Despite the lack of any follow up, delivering the physical space or giving me access, Regus's automated system began billing me. I found a bill for three month's of office space in my Spam folder and immediately called to dispute this. Regus has now escalated this to their internal collections department in Dallas. Regus used deceptive verbal promises to induce a signature and subsequently failed to deliver physical access. Even though I have never been given keys or even seen the building, I have been billed for 3 months of rent.
Recommendation: REGUS MISLEADS YOU INTO CONTRACTS AND THEY WILL SIGN YOU UP AND CHARGE YOU EVEN IF YOU NEVER RECEIVED A TOUR OR WERE GIVEN KEYS TO THE BUILDING.
