My daughter placed an order for a ham online on 11/13/25 to pick up for 11:00am on 11/26/25 at the Gonzales, La location. She drove an hour to pick it up and was told when she got there that they were waiting on the truck to come because people had picked up hams the past few days and they didn't have any left. The 2 ladies working there advised that they would call her when the truck arrived with the hams. At 3:00pm I tried to contact them but only got a recording, so I decided to drive there to pick up the ham. When I arrived, there were several people in line also being told that they did not have any hams and still waiting on the truck. I stated loudly that was the same story since 11:00am. One of the workers asked for my daughter's name and said she had tried to contact her, but she didn't answer the call which was not true. The workers proceeded to tell the people in line that they would credit their card, and they could purchase another ham while they were at the store. What is the point on ordering ahead if they are selling to the public what others have already reserved and paid for? This is not acceptable.
Desired outcome: I would like a gift card for the inconvenience of going to the store twice to pick up the ham that was reserved and paid for in advance.
