Credit services
False advertising! They claim you will not be responsible for fraudulent charges but that is not true. I sadly knew the person that made the charges but I did not authorize him to use my card. He admitted to making the fraudulent charges on a police phone while in jail for other crimes. He contacted me to beg me not to press charges and apologized for stealing my authorized users card. Yet still the charges were deemed my responsibility!

Store credit card usage issue
Date: 11/7/23. We have a store credit card for about $154 that I received for a returned item about a month ago. I wanted cash instead of store credit, but lost that debate. The customer service in this store has been poor for a while and just continues to get worse. Went to purchase a circular saw but after being scolded by the employee servicing the area for interrupting him and then not being able to get any other assistance I left the store. I needed assistance because the saws are locked up. I then went to Lowes and purchased the saw. At Lowes you are treated like a customer not an inconvenience.
I have been shopping more and more at Lowes and Ace Hardware due to the very poor quality of customer service at this store even though your store is closer to my home.
In addition I noticed the very low quantity of circular saws on hand. About a third were out of stock and the others only had one available.
Order of sink and toliet
I orders a sink and a toilet/ the whole process has been nothing but confusion. The order arrived damaged. Ups was to call me pick order up without my consequent.
Can't get a rep on the phone. On hold on text 2- min.
No one knows anything. Can't take my info own/ have to re order. Can't get receipt credit on original order. Spent a week working on this crap.

Delivery service
I ordered over $1500.00 worth of materials for a project that was being done at my house. The materials were scheduled to be delivered to my house on 10/08/2023. I received an e mail saying it will be delivered on time. I called that morning to make sure it will be here. (I had a builder on the job site.) I was assured that it will be delivered that day. Later on in the day I happened to check my e mails and received an e mail saying the ordered will not be delivered until 10/30/2023. I called up customer service and they called Williston, Vermont store and they assured me it will be there on 10/09/2023. It was delivered.
When the builder was moving everything over to the site he noticed that a 6/6/12 and 14 poly roofing materials were damaged. He said it looks like it was hit by a forklift. The poly roofing was under some other poly that was for the siding. He took pictures. He also waited to see if the buckling would straighten out. It did not so on Saturday 10/13/2023 I called and told them that a 6/6/12 and 14 panels of poly roofing was damaged, we ended up using the 6/6/12 but I would need the poly roofing replaced. I was told that it will be done on Monday 10/16. It did not show up and after talking with customer service and customer service could not get the store to pick up, I told them I would call the next day. So, I called the store before 7 am on 10/17. They assured me that it will be on the truck that day. It did not show up that day either. On Friday 10/20 I was in the area and talked to customer service. They refunded my delivery charge and said they would pick up the damaged stuff and bring the new poly. On Monday 10/23 It did not show up. Then on 10/24/2023 I receive an e mail saying the ordered will be delivered on 10/25. On 10/25 I get an e mail that the ordered is out for delivery. Then the same day I get an e mail saying missed delivery.
We were fed up with all the aggravation and lies the builder had to load up the stuff and bring it to the store for the replacement.

Desired outcome: Home Depot has always been a great company and has just gone downhill. There has been more than once I have thought about shopping somewhere else because either the service and now the delivery.
Window screen
Windows including screens that I purchased were installed at tmy residence on 2022. The installer mentioned someone will contact me when the missing screen become available. Feb 14, 2023 I was directed to Home Depot on Nine Mile Rd., from the Davis Hwy location. I spoke with Tony via phone at approximately 11:30a.m. from the Nine Mile Rd., location. He stated someone would contact me. On Sept 29, 2023 I spoke with Ken Busch at the Nine Mile Rd., location. Mr. Busch called the same number I was provided with to contact Tony [protected] at approximately 2:15pm. Mr. Busch stated via Tony that, someone will come out to my home on Monday to measure for the screen. One Oct 3, 2023 I called Tony directly and was informed Josh was out and had just getting back into the office. As of this date, I'm still missing a screen.
Samsung dryer model dve50r5400w/a3
Home Depot/Asurion failed to complete their part of the Home Depot 5 yr protection plan I purchased with the dryer on 1/8/2020. The process of filing a claim, providing requested info like receipts, photos and finally getting a confirmed repair appointment was very frustrating and I was never able to get the appt for repair. Three separate appointments were all no shows and I never received a follow-up from Home Depot/Asurion about my claim. It's like the process was meant to be cumbersome and so frustrating that Home Depot/Asurion wants the customer to give up and just not give up. I lost three days work and the cost of the repair as well as the price of the Protection Plan. I have talked to Asurion numerous times - at least 6 calls and spent hours on the phone and still no repair - no resolution. No follow-up from Home Depot or Asurion.
Timeline of events:
10/15 - dryer quit heating. Called Asurion to file a claim. Provided all the info requested - went through a battery of questions and given a tentative repair date of 10/20/2023 from * am until noon and told I would receive an email or text from the repair service for follow-up. Then the text messages from Samsung. I had to upload photos of dryer, purchase receipts, etc.
10/20/2023 - no repairmen came - no one contacted me about the appt. Called Asurion again the same day and told there were two tickets opened - one of which I opened online - What? I did not open a ticket online. The agent cancelled one ticket. After being on the phone for about another hour, I was given another tentative repair date of 10/25/23 from noon until 4 and I would be contacted by Monday, 10/23 by the repair company to confirm the appt.
10/23/23 - No contact from repair company. The repair company was Nebraska Home repair- I called them and they had no record of any appt under my name.
10/24/23 - Called Asurion again. Was told my ticket had been cancelled. I asked to speak to a supervisor to hopefully get this mess cleared up and get my dryer fixed using the 5 yr Protection Plan I paid Home Depot for.
This supervisor assured me I had a set appt for 10/27 from 8 until noon and that I will hear from the repaid company. Then I get another set of text messages from Samsung asking for me to upload receipts. So I do and then get a text message saying they had been rejected. I called the call back number in the Samsung text because at this point I am so confused and really don't know what they want. The agent said again that I opened a ticket online. This is false - I never went online and opened any ticket. They said to call Home Depot.
10/27/2023 - No one came to fix my dryer.
10/28/2023 - called a repair service myself to get my dryer fixed since all attempts to file a claim and get a repair with Home Depot/Asurion failed.
Claimed loss: $160.00 for 5 yr Protection Plan paid to Home Depot on 1/8/2020$490.70 for the repair to fix my dryer$864 - 3 days I had to take off work for the appointments that were no showsTotal of $1,514.70
Desired outcome: I would like a full refund in the amount of $1,514.70 as stated in the Claim Loss section.
Kitchen remodel
The Home Depot contractor had 4 days to reface the kitchen cabinets. The contractor left my job unfinished. Lack of correct materials was the main reason. That was a month ago. No one of any customer support will call or contact me as to how much longer my job will be delayed. My customer contacts are;
Shayla, and Taylor [protected] ext 512, or 511. The Home Depot finance company was the first to contact me, they want their money whether the job is started, underway, or finished. Home Depot needs to keep the customers informed. I want my kitchen finished and up to a quality standard. I have lost all confidence in the Home Depot. My name and address of the job site.

Auto pay function stopped and a payment due was missed
I pride myself in keeping my bills paid in full--on time--with using "auto-pay" functions for my credit cards. In August, 2023, my Home Depot Card (handled through CITI Bank) had the account number changed with a new account number issued by action of CITI Bank and not at my request. At no point on the bank originated account change was I notified the "auto pay" function had to be re-applied for. Subsequently, when I was expecting my account to be paid automatically, the payment was not processed, rather a $29.00 late fee was assessed on the account. I contacted Home Depot Customer Service and the late fee was corrected with a credit back to the account for the amount. My issue here now is if my credit rating/credit score is negatively affected through what I consider to be a bank failure to properly communicate, causing a black mark against me for a "late payment", I have no recourse on the matter. I feel that Home Depot and CITI should/must clear this matter to prevent my credit rating from being negatively affected. I would appreciate hearing back on this matter please.

Kerosene heater rental
I rented a kerosene heater from the Home Depot at 3461 Joseph Rd. Cincinnati OH 45251. I picked it up around 9:30 am on 10/28/23. Justin in tool rental told me that the tank should be full (of kerosene). But when he checked it seemed to be very little left. He also said the fuel gushed didn’t seem to be working. I asked him if I could go get a gas can so that I could go somewhere and purchase Keri. He then rang up my gas can purchase and helped load it into my car. I got home and sent my daughter out to purchase kerosene. She couldn’t find any gas stations (they usually sell kerosene) anywhere around us that sold kerosene. She went Walmart and purchased what she had money to buy, about $20 worth, of pre-filled containers of kerosene. She brings it home and we try to fill the tank for the heater. The tank is leaking. It leaked everywhere! I had her and my grandson take the heater back to Home Depot to get my money back on the rental and the gas can. She asked to be reimbursed for her purchase of kerosene, since we only needed it for the heater and the heater didn’t work. The manager at this store, Katie E thought that wasn’t a viable solution. She only offered $20 off any purchase from the store. I didn’t need anything else from that store! I really think that this $20 should be reimbursed! If my daughter hadn’t looked down and noticed that the kerosene was leaking out when she did, we would have started that heater and it probably would have exploded with all that kerosene on the ground and all over the machine. I feel like I should be asking for way more than just my money back, thinking of what could have happened. I eagerly wait for your response.

Desired outcome: I would like to be compensated for my entire outlay of money because of loss of money and use of product. My time and piece of mind should also be compensated. I would like $500.
Warranty company not wanting to fix my dryer
I called the Warranty Protection Plan to file a claim. The do not want to send a repair person out for my dryer, that is 17 months old. It's a simple fix, a fuse. The dryer tumbles, the lint traps are clear, it just will not heat. This is unacceptable . You pay money for the appliance, plus a protection plan, but they don't want to fix. I can't afford to pay out of pocket for a service call and the part in the hopes I may be reimbursed the cost.

I have NOT been able to talk to anyone about this order even though I have called 15+ times and got no answer...or got people who knows nothing...people who transfers the call to offices that do not answer the phone...people who hang up the phone,,,,,,people who cannot help solve the issue. People at your corporate number [protected] who kept me on the line until they reached someone at the store before they transferred the call. Once they transferred me to the store, no one at thestore is available that can help, the callgets transferred to offices that do not answer the phone, or the call drops or the phone hangs up.

On 6/24/2022 I purchased 40 pressure treated privacy fence panel; 40 timbers and 40 bags of quick crete; On 4/20/23 I purchased another 13 fence panels. The panels were installed 8/22 and remainder 4/23; Less than one year later numerous panels were warping/splitting, etc. I contacted Home Depot in Wentzville, MO and was told to take pictures, put them on a memory stick and bring it into Jeff. Approximate one 4 days later I delivered the memory stick to the store and gave them to an employee who assured us it would be given to Jeff. Upon not hearing from Jeff, I called the store, spoke to a manager, he assured me he would take care of. About a month later I received a call from
Brent, representative of the manufacturer. He stated he would need pictures I asked him if he got the memrory stick from Jeff - he did not. He said he would need to make an onsite visit and take his pictures. About two weeks later he came and walked the fencing and took pictures. I did not hear friom him for about two weeks so I called him. He called me back several days later and stated that he was required to make an onsite visit w/a Home Depot Manager and it would take time to to schedule this. On Friday, September 30, he emailed me a claim form to be completed I returned it on Monday, October 2, 2023. I then received a text stating that they would be coming out of Wednesday, October 11, 2023 @ noon. Mike from the pro-desk showed up first and he shared that he didn't even know about a meeting until the day before. He took two pictures and when we asked if he like to go around inside the fence he declined stating that "The panels are all the same". Brent arrived and stated that they would be forwarding the pictures, claim form to corporate and they would contact us as to a potential resolution. As Brent has stated we have been more than patient. We are seniors and my husband is disabled. It has been more then two and a half months to try and get some type of resolution. Can you please check into this. Thank you.

Pro Referral
We have had a very bad experience with a referral contractor. Pro referrals seems to be a subsidiary of Home Depot. They are unable to have the contractor make good on his shoddy workmanship. He installed shower with walls upside down and is not willing to make good. Does Home depot stand behind the work and help make good on the job? This looks veery bad and I do not want to go to posting negative reviews on social media but I don't know where to turn to.

On Oct. 9, 2023 I was online looking for a new refrigerator on the Home Depot website. I found one so I saved it and then searched for the same refrigerator on other websites. I found the same one at Best Buy on sale for $1,000.00 less. So I contacted the Home Depot at 20101 LaGrange Road Frankfort, IL 60423 and talked to Sam in appliance and the first question I asked was if you match any price. He said yes so I told him the name and the model number of the refrigerator and he said it is a Whirlpool for $2,249.99 and then asked me where I found it cheaper and I told him at Best Buy and gave him the SKU number and we he looked it up he said he would have to talk to the store manager and get back with me. He called me back and told me a store manager wasn't available today I would have to call back on Monday in which I replied I am busy during the week that is why I'm looking to buy today and told him that you should not advertise that you match any price. I like dealing with Home Depot, I have a credit card from there and the service has always been real helpful but I ended up buying it at Best Buy because I didn't know if the sale would still be going on Monday. Went to Home Depot to buy 4x8 MDF board, cut into 5 pieces+/- 3/4", they refused. Called precision cut and would not do it. Went to Lowes, HomeDepot Coporate Complaint Desk 478 ! 270 ! 1220 they had no problem. This kind of service iis why I usually shop Lowes. Will never return. Home Depot uses USIG to save money at the customer expense. It has been over a month trying to resolve the poor tile installation. I spoke Carina @ the Silverlake location with a temporary resolution because USIG provide incorrect information. USIG sent an inexperienced installer with no pride in the quality of work the customer pays for. Home Depot completed the selection of materials and the main they wanted to discuss was cost. I went to the Silverlake to pay as instructed and had to wait almost an hour for someone to come to Flooring. I was exhaust, frustrated and livid at Home Depot but USIG was worse. For the 4th time in USIG sent an installer to correct the tile issue, USIG District Manager (Ahmad) breezed through the areas then told more what they couldn’t do rather than what they will do. This USIG District Manager is very dismissive, rude and think customers are stupid.
Desired outcome: Correct their poor quality job without any additional customer charge.
Rubbermaid Shelf
When the price sticker advertises this shelf as 10" x48" and its states the same thing when you ring it up, thats what I expect it to be. I had them cut this shelf, needing a 28" and 2- 10" pieces. After he cut the first piece then it was brought to my attention one of the 10" would be short by .4 of an inch. If someone needs exact for a project, them that's what they need. Since he had already cut it, I had to go buy another $ 12.98 shelf to get one 10" board. This is deceptive and I guess you have to get a magnifier and read the small print on the item to know what it is since Home Depot is falsely advertising the product. I'm going to start reading all the labels or shop somewhere else if this is their practice..
Desired outcome: I want an explanation and a refund for 1 on these shelves.
