Hobby Lobby Stores review: discrimination and harassment due to claims of theft ( 1 comment)

On April 11, 2019 I was shopping at hobby lobby located at 7011 w canal dr. Kennewick washington. I was doing my usual arts and crafts shopping separating my on sale items on the botton portion of my cart and the full price items on the top portion of my cart. I walked up to the cash register and paid for all the items i purchased. As i sit in my car im approached by a police officer asking if I had stolen any items from the store and of course I denied it. Thinking they have the wrong person I said i have all my purchased items in my vehicle. The officer proceeded to explain that the description was me and a little girl I had with me which was not true. I was shopping alone. I allowed the management and officer to check my purse and car and the items i purchased. I began to explain that I did not steal anything and I bought everything they saw in my bags. The manager instead of apologizing gives me a notice to not come back to the store permanently or i would be trespassing. I was not allowed to return my items so i sent a friend in and was only given back half of the money for my purchase no receipt or anything. I felt discriminated and harrassed by management when I was simply shopping. I would like a full refund of 83.00 and compensation for the embarrassment I was put through.
