I was hired on May 26, 2019 because a 36 year old female who had been employed for 9 months, working at the front desk began to drink excessive amounts of alcohol, and had abandoned her job. She had already had numerous criminal charges (DWI with vehicular injury), assault law enforcement officer, etc.) and had been sent to prison for a 120 day treatment. She head on criminal probation and is currently being revoked, facing a 5 year prison sentence and must serve 85%, because she committed a violent offense. I wasn't aware at the first that I replaced her, as they had hired her back as a assistant to the manager. Also, was unaware that I was a temporary employee (until the criminal was able to prove she could regularly report to work). I was denied a lunch, was not given breaks, and the Housekeeping staff (who ALL had criminal records) watched every move I made on camera. I was quite definitely discriminated against! I was fired 8/15/2019 after only 8 weeks, and given no reason. Work at this business at your own RISK! They have a high turnover! They fired 2 Housekeeping staff members after planting $10 in rooms to ENTRAP them! The manager is a passive aggressive micromanager, who looks thoroughly miserable.
