Driver picked up 1 bag of 2 from Red Lobster and delivered it. Called RL, MGR. said driver was busy on her phone and left the 2nd bag sitting there getting cold, no way to get driver to deliver it. I had to drive in rush hour traffic on slick streets on Valentine's to pick it up, cold, RL MGR. said this happens ALL THE TIME! GRUB HUB said tough [censored]. GRUB HUB website menu charges you 20% more than the vendor menu and then adds fees on top of that, what a racket. $200 later cold food and another great Valentine's night. Use grubhub if you want to get screwed without a dinner and a movie, they are Pros at it.

Recommendation: Stop being lazy, pick up your food and it may be correct

You are 100% right. I told my wife that the small places that employ their own delivery people are alright, but no more 3rd party delivery drivers. For the businesses that use these 3rd party delivery drivers, I will use their curbside pickup and verify my order before I drive away. I learned my lesson the hard way.

Their drivers are either lazy or don’t care. Forget about the food. Dispute the charges through your bank, cancel the order on all the review websites, and deal directly with the restaurants next time. These middlemen take payment for no work done apart from providing hassle.
