I work 12HR overnight shifts and rely on food delivery. Grubhub management recently refused to refund me for missing items, claiming I have "too many reports" and implying I am lying. Here is the reality of what I have actually dealt with on my shifts:
Drivers completely stealing my food and driving off without calling me to meet them.
Restaurants delivering dangerous, raw, undercooked food.
Drivers delivering completely wrong orders/ someone else's order To me twice in the same night.
Watching the live app GPS map show drivers delivering my food to entirely wrong neighborhoods.
Multiple items left out of sealed bags by the restaurant.
Grubhub does zero follow-up on these issues. They don't check driver phone logs, look at drop-off photos, or verify with the restaurants that screw up half the time. They just let an automated algorithm blame the customer and pocket your cash. To top it off, their website account deletion page is completely broken to prevent you from canceling. Avoid this company Completly!
