Groupon.com Part goods missing, box damaged

I ordered a Valelentino ottoman bed which was paid for and delivered on the 1st April, one of the boxes was missing unfortunately so i contacted them the very next day and all they keep coming back with is it has been escalated but over 3 weeks later and i still havn't recieved my missing parts.

I have also asked for a refund now as i am so fed up with this now and still no response.

Desired outcome: either my parts delivered or a full refund.

Groupon.com Braided cable for iphone purchases

Hi. I have bought two of these abs bo have stopped working within 4-6 weeks. I'm a careful person, 45 years old with no kids using them and I take care of my things. I wanted to leave a review and can't abs want to speak to someone to arrange to get a refund. How do I do this?
I am not happy with the chargers. Spent over £15 on two including delivery and now need to buy yet more replacements.

I purchased the service on groupon when they were running a special. When I got my credit card statement they had charged me the regular price. They refuse to make it right because more than 3 days had passed since I made the purchase. The vendor knew of the situation but said they were limited in what they could do and I would have to contact groupon myself. As you can imagine that has led to being told "sorry". That is simply fraud.

Groupon.com Either I want a refund, I can' t start the class and there is a date of 4/27/2021 for the offer to expire.

I bought two offers from Groupon on January, 2021. one for exercise workout and the other was for Excel training. Since February, I have been trying to get these offers, but while my email is working for the emails I receive everyday, I have not been able to use/change my password. on the site. The email doesn't come to my AOL account, however I do get response to my NUMEROUS customer service chats that I need to get a new password.. Obviously, I wanted to take the classes, however the final answer I get does not address my email problems. I have spoken to people via chat, I have asked for refunds for the classes. The only email I get is for me to click on the class and the instructions are to click on the class but I am not getting the cue to change my password. Obviously, the customer support is not responding to my questions about not being able to get a new password or to use the old one I had for years. I changed it after I couldn't use it anymore. The message to change after about 20 times has not appeared in my email. Due to "Covid" there is no way to contact the company other than by chat and I get the same answer. Groupon.com Groupon deal for Ballyliffin lodge and Spa

On 13/03/21 I made a purchase from Groupon, not Ballyliffin lodge and spa, confirmed by email which stated it was not redeemable until September 2021. Therefore I could not use it or obtain any services prior to that.
Again on the 13/03/21, I receive confirmation of my booking from GROUPON, not Ballyliffin.
On 15/03/21 my account was debited £149 by Groupon NOT Ballyliffin.
On 20/0321 I receive an email (which I copied to you) from Ballyliffin that they could not confirm the booking YOU had made due to an error in YOUR Booking Tool.
Over the past two days and seven emails later you ask ME to contact Ballyliffin for them to confirm That I had not received any services for a voucher that could not be redeemed until September.
I attach a screenshot of the latest email I have received from Ballyliffin and ask for a cash refund.

This is the text of the eighth email I have sent to Groupon. I have done everything they have asked and they still refuse a cash refund.

Groupon.com Bait and switch-coupon for $12 for $30 of brownies but you have no choice but to spend more

I purchased a Groupon for Ruth's Brownies, $12 cost for $30 worth of Brownies. No where on Ruth's website can you buy anything near that amount plus the $11 shipping...How convenient. So you have to spend more, no choice or don't use the coupon.

I will never purchase anything more from Groupon. I'm sick to death of being taken advantage of by these greedy, shady business practices.

Groupon.com I did not receive my paid for, subscription

I saw a groupon advertisement for a subscription to "mad magazine" for $5 they said to wait 4-6 weeks before it arrives... I did; it has been 3 months & I still haven't received it. Please refund my monies or send my subscription. This is not a good look for groupon, my co-worker referred me to them & I thought that everything would be fine, if I ordered something, I am upset about my subscription, I was looking forward to it. Thank you,

Groupon.com Coat

Hello I purchased a coat on the Groupon in January for my 12 year old granddaughter the coat has come away at the seams have been communicating to a member of staff of who have told me that there is nothing they can do as she has worn it i don't expect a coat to last 4weeks she is a slim girl and the coat was a little big as I had previously ordered a size 10 which I returned and ordered this one the staff member terminated my communication before I had finished what I wanted to say I have ordered quite a few items off Groupon but I am not happy with the response i have received hoping you can help me i would like a refund for this coat

Groupon.com Refund Request/Gift card not received

First complaint: I cancelled a hotel reservation due to Covid-19 and was given Groupon credit. I have requested a refund to no avail. I have tried to talk on chat line with customer service reps and all I get is I can't help. Please email us.
I emailed at [protected]@groupon.com and my email was blocked. I emailed them at [protected]@groupon.com and the email came stating the link was no longer available.

Second complaint: I purchased a Texas Roadhouse gift card through Groupon and asked to email to the person as a birthday gift. She informed that she never received. I have tried through the to talk to someone. I sent all the copies of the emails I received from them and my bank statement where the money was deducted from my account. Again, no help.

Tell what government agency that can help me with this issue. This is a terrible business.

Groupon.com The dinner detective providence voucher canceled show

I purchased these vouchers back in March 2020. I paid $54.00 per voucher for a total of $216.00
Because of the Covid situation, the event was rescheduled several times during the year. We finally just received notice that they have canceled the showing altogether. The Providence vendor refunded $30.00 per ticket gratuity that I paid, however, they advised that the actual voucher cost of $54.00 per voucher needed to be refunded from Groupon.
I contacted Groupon via email and chat, as calling them was futile. I was put on hold for hrs at a time. They send me an email that stated:

This email is false information. Obviously, they do not keep in contact with their venues or we would have received a refund long ago.
These vouchers expired during the summer of 2020.
We wanted to help out by rescheduling for a year, not asking for our money back.
A refund is really what we are requesting for the full voucher amt of $216.00. A partial refund of the expired vouchers would be much lower and due to the cancelation being no fault of my own we would really like a full refund.
I understand times are hard right now. I do feel bad about having to ask for a refund. I am not in a financial position right now to just let this go.

I am hoping you can help me.

Groupon.com Fraudulent charges

I made a purchase on Groupon on Jan 13th 2021 for $162.06, which is still pending and then on Jan 15th 2021 I started getting additional charges. One for $100.50, $9.83, $9.83, $21.40, and $8.75. When I noticed the changes on my account from the app alerts. I immediately called my financial institution and we went over the charges that were mine and those that were fraudulent, so I had to sign in and first the password didn't work which prompted me to do a password reset. I received an email stating now my email address wasn't registered which I just got a confirmation of my purchases 2 days prior. And the charges that were made on the 15th of Jan were pushed through immediately while the ones on the 13th are still pending as of today, which will clear on Monday Jan 18th 2021. I tried signing in again to Groupon and this time it allowed to change the password. So now I'm extremely upset and confused as to first how was someone able to hack my account, secondly make charges that went through faster then the previous ones, and thirdly how was they able to change my email and password for those charges without me even verifying then change it back without that drawing attention that this might and is fraud.
So here's where it gets funny I called the numbers listed and a recording states they are out for the holidays, but what holiday is on Jan 15th 2021, none I am aware of or none that are observed on that day. and there is mono way to contact them I even tried merchants support through the site which keep me going in a loop. Funny thing is I've been using Groupon since 2018 faithfully without any problems so they should know my pattern and for them too allow my email changed with the shipping address and not even confirm with me now has left a bad taste in my mouth and I will no longer use this service. You've lost loyal customer with bad business practices and security breaches that don't protect us consumers.
Something definitely needs to be done and actions need to be implemented so others don't experience such disgrace from doing business with a company that clearly doesn't look out for its consumers.
Going forward I have to wait 10 days for my financial institution to conclude their investigation and a reversal without penalty, but what if I needed the funds that were fraudulently taken and had to way of covering what the company has neglected which is securing each account and/or having a way to speak directly or indirectly via email or chat when matters of this magnitude need immediate responses.
If and when Groupon replies, I have all receipts, email replies, and copies of my statement to validate my claim.
Groupon you really need to do better!

Desired outcome: My money that was fraudulently taken and I've already took my cards off file so I will not be shopping with them going forward.

Groupon.com Return my refund to original payment not groupon bucks

I was given a refund as Groupon Bucks moments after purchase when I called to schedule and found out the merchants business is closed due to Covid. California has had 30, 400 deaths due to Covid and now all companies are closed and not offering services which are advertised for sale on Groupon. I need my funds returned to my original payment not Groupon bucks. I was mislead that this business was open and offering their service. I immediately asked for a refund yet was not given my money back to my debit card. Please do the right and honest thing and refund me my $119. I need this money now to take care of my bills and buy groceries!

Below is the screenshot of the merchant Groupon I purchased, and as you can see the time it was when I asked the company about making an appointment and the response from them saying they are closed due to Covid. This is when I asked for a refund. Not because I changed my mind but because they can't provide the service their Groupon indicates it can.

Groupon.com Van Gogh. Venue cosed on day of booking.

Bought and book for the event Van Gogh: The immersive Experience for Saturday December 6th.
Drove two hours to the venue. the venue was closed. They claimed having advised Groupon. Groupon as usual didn't had the consideration to advise the clients. Since Groupon have already collected the money they don't get involve and prevent any way to refund the money as is evident by the application and website that doesn't have any option to communicate because the ticket date is passed.
The experience carried additional expenses c. £30 in fuel, $8.60 parking.

One more disappointment sponsored by Groupon.

Groupon.com Dove 10 pack deodorant

I purchased the dove 10 pack of deodorant deal. It was never delivered and I was told the order was lost. I went on the groupon site to find what my options were. The only options were email (how convenient). So, I contacted the merchant last week via email and got a generic response stating that someone will contact me in 24 hours. I emailed them 3 times and no one ever got in touch with me over the lost package. It's been 2 weeks and still nothing. Groupon does not have customer service, they just tell you to email, and then when you email no one gets in contact with you. Their toll free number is just a message that tells you to use their website. There are no options to speak to anyone, if you press 0 the phone call hangs up on you! There is no one to talk to, no one to help you, you get ignored. They take your money and then when they lose your package they ignore you. There is no easy to get a refund or even a new product if it's been lost or damaged. Buyer beware: if they lose your package that's it, no help, nothing. You'll be out of your money, better to just ignore this company.

I bought 9 tickets at Gruopon for 3 shows at King Castle Theater in Branson MO last December. The theatre closed and did not have the shows because one of the top performers had COVID. I contacted Gruopon and the theatre to get my refund and Gruopon said that I should have cancelled the show prior to the date of the show. We showed up on the date of the show and the theatre was closed. I called the following day to check if there will be shows next next few days and they said that they may open again in three days but not sure. We waited to take a chance and the show was cancelled again but the theatre said since it was not our fault they will ask the Gruopon representative to refund our money. Gruopon said that they cannot refund our money since we did not cancel before the show. It does not make sense. I am a fun of Gruopon but will not buy anything from their website any more.

Groupon.com Oil change cancelled by groupon

On Sunday November 29 we purchased Order number [protected] for a synthetic oil change with Castrol for $49.99 with a 25% discount The next day you credited my card back and cancelled the order. On November 30 I purchased another Groupon for the oil change for $49.99 using the same credit card and it went through. However I had the 25% discount on the first order of $12, 50 and not the order you approved and iI would like that amount credited back to my account.

I had purchased a sake tasting @ I believe 40.00
Due to cover they can not provide the service.
I looked on groupon for something I could use. I had to add a considerable more amount of money to get what I wanted. I purchased a window cleaning. I went through the process.
Got on a list. Waited to have the guy come out and refuse to do the job. I actually didn't know you could do that. I am having a blank for words. Because I am still unsure what actually happened. I guess very unprofessional.
The owner of this company came out and basically said that groupon only paid him 40.00 for this job and they took the rest. He said his pricing was set for a small san bruno house. So for him to make any money he had to charge more money. He stated for a sliding window he would charge for 2 windowing the windows washed.
I had a tenant in the lower part of my house who did not want the windows done. He said it did not matter he would charge for the windows anyway, he stated the house came as a package.
Before he even completely viewed the house or gave me a price he basically walked off and said he refuses to do the job. Needless to say I am shocked since he bragged of his 5 star review. Also I was surprised you represent a company like this. I am very disappointed. In this service.

Groupon.com No way to contact groupon - non responsive

I have 9 GroupOns that I never had a chance to use. I did not understand the trade in our extension procedure and I have been trying for years to get through to someone at GroupOn.

The total of my loss is $245

Is there any class action I can join?
Is there some way of actually speaking or getting through to a representative?
I only get dead ends every time I try.

Groupon.com Bad ticket - possible non existent company - no help from groupon!

I purchased a ticket on Groupon to take an online concealed weapons class - however, after registering for the class - and using the voucher code sent by Groupon - the site would state that I was unauthorized to use it - however it let me use it to sign in and take my money. After numerous attempts to sign in - I wrote 23 emails to the National Carry Academy - to no avail as no one has ever responded - I also tried to call on 2 different phone numbers and both are busy constantly and there is not reaching them.

I then contacted Groupon who stated that I should clear my cache and try again - I did - and nothing happened - same issue. Then I asked for a refund and they told me that the voucher was a view and pay and therefore could not refund me. This Groupon company appears to be a scam and seems like they sold me a fake ticket or a ticket to a company that does not either exist or is a scammer - buyer beware! Do not trust Groupon - they are just bad and a rip off! They ripped me off and I would be very careful with them - as for me - I will never use this groupon junk again - lesson learned!

I scheduled service with the provider and when I arrived she refused to service me stating she had a few personal problems going on and even a child waiting in the car for her. Stated she would refund my money through Groupon. It felt like I was being discriminated against when she saw me and started making excuses why she could not provide the service. A few weeks later she sent email apologizing for the event while soliciting business. I contacted Groupon the next day and they refused refund and disputed refund with my credit card provider. The only reason I couldn't see you was that you would have to numb for 30 minutes and then be in my chair for 30 minutes. I pulled down my mask to show you I had a sudden Bells Palsy that took place a few days prior and had to attend a 7:30 at the clinic on the north side which would take me about an hours drive. Groupon.com zen salon in appleton, wi

I had bought a groupon in the past for a haircut and highlight in march of 2020 and marlo did my hair and did a great job. The problem is lori, the owner. I brought a paper copy of my groupon and gave it to her and she didn't know how to process it. She told me that I needed to process it on my side; mark it as redeemed or marlo wouldn't get paid. I said I would do that but I was out of minutes on my phone so I couldn't access it until I got home. She started yelling and made both myself and marlo uncomfortable. I told her she could and should redeem it on her side. I've had numerous other merchants accept the paper copy with no issue. We then exchanged text messages when I got home and I told her I redeemed it. She kept saying that I needed to redeem it or marlo wouldn't get paid... I said I did already. Now, fast forward to today, my daughter wanted to get the same groupon for herself. She waited last minute to make an appt so I called zen to see if there were any openings with marlo or kaitlin because they were the only ones accepting the groupon.. She said no, but take a screenshot of the groupon deal but don't buy it. They would still honor it and lori (she) could do my daughters hair for the same price. She said it comes out better for her money-wise if we don't use the groupon. So we did.. And she did a fine job with the hair but she splashed bleach all over the back of my daughter's new $50 sweatshirt and it's ruined. When my daughter got up from the chair, lori was brushing her back off.. She just thought she had hair on her back... But lori never said a word about it. My husband picked my daughter up from the salon and noticed the bleach spot. My daughter walked back to lori's station and told her about it and asked her why she wore a $50 sweatshirt in the first place... And told her it was her fault for moving around in the chair. Said she was with a customer and would call her mom/dad later to talk about it. We haven't gotten a call yet... But I wanted to report this because this is the second time that lori has ruined our visit and I won't be returning. Would not have gone back the second time, but we were desperate. She is very rude, and I don't understand why she uses groupon to get customers if she doesn't want them to actually buy the voucher. She tends to treat us bad for wanting to get a good deal, versus paying full price. Sorry for the long story. Thanks.
