Groupon.com Virtual Coupons

Several businesses on Groupon do not accept their deals during COVID. Or are shut down completely. Neither of which is specified by Groupon anywhere on the website/app. I have bought several deals where the business ended up not honoring the groupon. When reaching out to the company the only solution they are offering is cash back in their own "Groupon Bucks." However, now I'm looking to close my account & would like to receive an actual refund for the almost $500 I've spent on the website without any services.

Desired outcome: Full cash refund for current account's statement of credit.

Groupon.com Unauthorized charge

I was sitting in my dining room talking with my brother at the table when my phone went off.. My bank balance went to -79.99. I then had an email pop up saying I purchased a san Diego Seaworld ticket for 79.99. I did not make this purchase. I filed a complaint, put a stop to my credit cards, changed my groupon information, and a lady responded saying that this is a FINAL SALE, NO REFUNDS. This is [censored], I don't care what it says, I DID NOT PURCHASE THESE TICKETS. I did not authorize someone else to purchase this ticket. I need someone to refund my money before I get charged an overdraft fee. I did not purchase this, I do not want it, I did not do it. Please refund me my money.

Groupon.com Account closed

I am emailing you as a last resort to my problem. I have had a Groupon account for many years and currently have several active Groupons that I cannot access. When tried to log on a few days ago, it said my password was wrong. When I tried to reset it, it said my email was not on file. I have chatted with representatives several times and have been emailing account specialists over the last two days. The last message said I violated your terms and so I could never use Groupon again. I am a 70 year old woman living in Kansas - a retired teacher, mother and grandmother - and I have never done anything illegal or anything to violate any Groupons. I only have used them for restaurants, spas and merchandise. I have always left positive reviews and never had any kind of problem. I think it is extremely unfair that I cannot access my paid for Groupons without any explanation. am hoping someone can assist me. Thank you.

Groupon.com Universal studios ticket purchase

On Monday June 6th I accidentally purchased two universal non peak tickets. Non peak are not usable until September when summer is over. I contacted Groupon to let them know this was a mistake. They refused a refund. I had to buy two additional tickets in another site to get in the park on June 6th.

Desired outcome: Refund of $228.00 pleaseThey keep saying this purchase is non refundable.

I purchased FLIP FLOPS on 18th March 2022 and after numerous emails to ZOOW LTD they keep fobbing me off with "its our for delivery, please be patient" Well my patience has run out. I asked for my money back £ 15.70 and they said NO as its in transit, well its been in transit now for 3 weeks and 3 days.

They have breached their contract and I demand a response as a matter of urgency.

They were quick enough in taking my hard earned money, absolutely appalling customer service, if I was groupon I would block them from using your website.

I await an immediate response

Groupon.com charged double for hotel stay

I made reservations with groupon to stay at a hotel in Las Vegas ad they decided to completely ruined my trip and caused my daughter fear of staying by herself because she was being kicked out of a hotel room that I had already paid for. I have proof that I paid through the groupon app and also had to pay again out of pocket because groupon never sent the reservations to the hotel. they claim they gave me a refund but they did not. I want them to make this right as they have done nothing but ignore me.

Groupon.com Campaign builder

Im trying to create a groupon campaign for my heating and air company and I keep getting emails saying to need to upload or update and they keep giving me the run around. I have done everything Im supposed to and keep getting rejected. They ask me to add a radius and zip code in the fine print but theres no option to do that. The tell me to upload insurance and I do that, Ive done everything at least 5 times each. I also got rejected from an air duct cleaning campaign because groupon said I havent been in business long enough and that I need to be in business for at least 6 months. I have no idea where that info came from because we've been in business for 15 years. We are a licensed, bonded, and insured hvac comapany with an A+ on the BBB and 5 star raings on just about every website that holds reviews for comapnies. Im really upset that its being handled this way. Someone please fix this so we can run our campaign fair just like everyone else.

Groupon.com Groupon deleted new account without any notice

Groupon for whatever reason will close your account without any notifcation to the account owner. Using an excuse of Terms violation is the easiest way to close new accounts and claim unused funds.

While attempting to purchase two groupons with their new user discount code, the site kept erroring out. Eventually the groupons were purchased and I believed I was good to go. I went to check today and the account was terminated. I "chatted" with customer support for hours because Groupon probably decided that it was easier to be a heartless entity over text.

Desired outcome: Reach out to the account owners and allow us to explain what/if anything is going on. There's probably a chance that our account was hacked or your (Groupon) services were down.

Groupon.com valvoline

This week I purchased a valvoine groupon for a synthetic blend oil change which I used today at the valvoline store on highway 70 s in Nashville, tn.

I was greeted by a young man who I told I would like a synthetic blend oil change and to mark my sticker for 7500 miles from my current odometer reading.

I waited for approximately 40-45 minutes while several technicians were doing something under my hood and when the manager walked by I asked if there was a problem and he told me a large socket had fallen between the radiator and the fan blade and they had to get it out to prevent serious damage. While they were working on it another technician gave me a printed sticker marked to change the oil in 3000 miles. When the first contact came by my window I asked him to do a new sticker and actually wrote out the mileage and change date so there would be no question.

After they finally retrieved the socket another person came to my window and I gave him the groupon and he advised I had purchased one for a synthetic blend and my bmw requires a full synthetic oil but he would use the groupon valued for $43.99 and I could pay the difference which he said was going to be an additional $123.41! I know their were full synthetic groupons for $89 and the sum of my groupon cost and the additional came to $167.40! I then asked how much a full synthetic oil change would have cost without any groupon and was told $164. So---it cost me more using the groupon and the added cost than if I used no groupon and if they had told me from the start I would have gone online right then and bout a full synthetic change for $89.99.

For further frustration I knew an confirmed that most gas stations and even places like Firestone only charge 77-$90 for the same service I was chagged $167.40. I feel the groupon information is at best mis-leading and the switch and bait tactic to the more expensive oil without my permission is clearly a switch and bait tactic. Finally even after having to wait 40-45 minutes and still not having a sticker I asked again an the technician instead of printing out what I requested just took a blank sticker and wrote out my request with a magic marker. To make things even worse not one person ever said "i am sorry" or apologized for the wait after not explaining the cause of the wait until I asked about it. The manager guided my car out and only said drive carefully.

I have purchased many group-ons over the years and definitely will never go back to this location and hope you follow up with this terrible experience sine this valvoline store reflects on your image and credibility. I await your response before deciding if I should take alternate action or begin to post my experience in on line reviews.

Groupon.com Merchant marketplace

This is a Groupon company. I ordered 6 bottles of Dove Body Wash. This company sent ten (10) bags of Krave Gold Labe Beef Spicy Sesame Cuts Ginger. They said it had been delivered. I offered to send the merchandise back to them in replacement for what I had ordered and they said no. I continue to contact them to no avail. No response. All I request is the product that I ordered or my money back so that I can reorder it.

Desired outcome: I want my money back OR I want the Dove delivered to me.

Groupon.com Need to reach a live person, or be able to chat with them. No way to contact them, since COVID started.

I have concert tickets that were purchased in 2020. Groupon now says you can't print the tickets & you have to use the voucher. Back in 2020, you printed them. Now I don't have a Voucher to use for the concert,& can't reach anyone about it, cause they have the ticket marked as used. The concert has been rescheduled to 8/2022, IT HAS NOT been used

Desired outcome: To have someone call me & make sure I have a voucher for the concert that was rescheduled for 2 years. Groupon has made it impossible to reach them because they want to keep our money!

I bought a few groupons as gifts for family members and the next morning i couldn't access my account. I contacted customer service and was told i had somehow violated their terms and services agreement. Im not sure how though cause they won't tell me! I asked what i did and was threatened with legal action LOL for buying your products? Go for it!

Groupon.com Unauthorized account deletion

Groupon deleted my account. I had coupons that I had yet to redeem. Groupon seems to be eliminating customer service options. The only option I could find is email so I sent them a message about a week ago. I got no reply. I tried to send another email today - I got a form field but the button to send it would not function. I think this company is about to tank. Watch the execs get golden parachutes while their rank and file are told they're out of a job and all the customer money they're holding is lost. Where is our consumer protection bureau?

Groupon.com My account doesn't exist anymore

I am trying to use my Groupon bucks for a refunded Groupon (because the business closed) that they wouldn't refund to my card but instead put back on my account as Groupon bucks. It's only $36 in Groupon bucks and my old emails say they never expire. My account no longer exists yet I haven't deleted it or done anything that breaks Groupons rules to have it closed. Please reinstate my Groupon account, I like to look back at my old Groupons and purchase new Groupons every year.

Groupon.com Account deletion without permission with over usd 1000 worth of unused groupons.

I've been a Groupon customer for the past few weeks and have purchased/used a Groupon coupon for almost all days of the past 2 weeks. I yesterday made 4 high valued Groupons purchases and I got confirmation mails with order numbers till last afternoon. Then suddenly, in the night, I was unable to access my account. I had never experienced anything like this. It first said incorrect password and I carefully checked what I was typing... Nothing. I then tried to reset the password, but I got a message saying that there was no account linked to my email!

I have thousands of dollars of unused Groupon. My credit card information is still on the website, which I am unable to access.

I have tried contacting customer service via chat and emails and I keep being told to wait. They have also not been able to clarify what went wrong or to guarantee my personal and financial information is safe.

Groupon.com Stole my money!

They keep closing my account or taking my credits / groupon bucks.
Today, 2021.11.15 I tried to redeem my groupon bucks but they had already voided them from my account. They had done this previously in the spring.
Finally found how to contact live chat, but the CS said the bucks were taken by the computer as expired and there's nothing left to do!

I pointed out today was 11.15 so the credits that expired on 11/15 were still valid until midnight) No matter what I said or asked, CS gave me the same corporate answer: computer took them, this is done. Period.

Asked to speak to a supervisor, but they wouldn't pass me on. Asked for a phone number to call, they said the chat was all they do, no phone calls.
Then the CS person said "we're done" and ended chat.

Desired outcome: I WANT MY CREDITS or MONEY BACK!

I went to login to my Groupon account to use my Groupon I purchase at a spa and it said no account found. I tried to reset my password and it said no account found again. I reached out to Groupon and they still couldn't verify my account. I still have Groupons to use.

Groupon.com Customer Service

I attempted to purchase a pair of tickets for a Christmas show. Because of a website malfunction, my purchase was multiplied several times. My $200 purchase turned into a 10 ticket, $1, 200 nightmare. I immediately contacted Groupon. Not able to call and speak to someone, I reached out through the chat window. I discussed the issue in detail over and over to several Agents and the lack of understanding and the inability to answer my questions made the already bad situation worse. None of the help Agents would help me correct the issue. After begging and pleading over and over again, a Supervisor called me and we spoke over the phone. He was very understanding and grasped the problem. He assured me he would cancel all of the extra ticket orders. A week later, I started getting emails from Groupon asking me if I still want these tickets in my cart? When I checked my Groupon account, I can see multiple windows regarding the multiple ticket orders. Some said purchase cancelled, some said purchase pending, one said purchased approved. Concerned about the orders that said PENDING, I started another chat with an Agent to look into it. After a long back and forth, the Agent assured me I was charged for only one set (2 tickets) and all other orders were cancelled. Another week goes buy and I receive two emails from Ticket Master saying my tickets are available for download. Following the link, I see there are 4 tickets purchased. I started another chat and the Agent could not grasp the problem. I repeatedly (3 times during the chat) asked for the conversation to be escalated to a Supervisor. The Agent finally said she would escalate it and ended the chat. No Supervisor ever reached out to me.

Desired outcome: Clarity on my purchase and the correct number of tickets purchased.

I wish to cancel this booking - it is within the time permitted for a full refund.
I have tried to cancel on the Groupon website but when I try to cancel it just directs me to an error 404 message.
I have been unable to contact Groupon via telephone - as Groupon don't seem to have one - one number picks up and then just cuts you off!
