Green Dot review: Green dot prepaid credit card fraud!

I recently bought a green dot prepaod credit visa card from walmart about November 15th, 2025, and since then I've been trying to activate my card without success.

I jave downloaded the app, used the online website feature to activate but nothing seem to be working. It keeps saying "we are unable to approve your card request at this time, please try later". I put $45 on the card when I bought ot from Walmart but have not able to use it for the website which i initially purchased for.

I have called the 1866-795-7597 number which is on the card and every where on google that's for their live customer service person but it doesnt connect me to alive person and the automated person just talks about activation and sending a link for activation which doesn't work.

I have been going round in circles for over 2 weeks now. I want my money back but cannot get anyone to do that!

I will be reporting this card to walmart fraud alert! The u.s. consumer agency so this fraudsters can be blocked and prosecuted. I am an attorney and will make an example of this company. Enough is enough. Multiple websites are rife with consumer complaints about this fraud and it seems this has been ongoing for years, in conjunction with many stores and walmart help!

Scam alert @Walmart, and other stores will be put on blast about this issue.
