Google review: RHS food shelf really hates helping people who are down in the life...
Every month this food shelf hands out commodities. I have a 30' RV, that their facility is not able to ♿ accommodate. So I have to park outside the facility on the street. For well over a years I have come to this place, and when ready to haul on average of six heavy packages of food, they would unlock a gate that I had my RV parked near. Mind you I am disabled, using a cane... I have a bad back, no way can I manage these loads, unless I take the route via the locked gate. You'd think they could help accommodate the disabled, maybe a cart, or wagons. They use to provide wagons, once upon a time. The workers even said other rvs have made it up into their facility, so we tried to bring our RV closer, in order to manage getting our 10 packages of food to our RV. Guess what, I now have a hole/tear on my RV, from an awning not making it through their obstacles course. Who gonna pay for that? You guessed right! To top it off, those workers just laughed at us, even during the time they saw my crippled daughter and I scooting the boxes across their lot... I have never felt so humiliated in my life, that the way these caring people don't care about nothing. My question is, why do people work for these organizations that help the poor/disabled, when they don't like our type, but I bet they collect a food box These kind of people are more sadder than us po peasants. I will no longer collect food from this establishment, I don't have much food as it is for the month, but nobody should be treated and humiliated in this manner, ever! God has a special place for people, like the females at RHS FOOD PANTRY in Crescent City, California.
