Goodwill Industries review: Bait and switch

Found a jacket marked $00.14. and proceeded to the register to complete the purchase.

Employee#1 rang item tagged at .$14. Employee#1 called for the manager, however Employee #2 appeared to assist. Employee#2 advised Employee #1 that she would have to accept the payment at the price, but she was taking it to the back to advise the employee that had mismarked the item of the error, as there had been other items sold at mismarked prices earlier in the day. Employee #2 took the item to the back and manager changed tag to $10. Requested the Manager on Duty.

Manager on Duty-Mr. Sampson came out and claimed that he was instructed by another manager that items with incorrect prices could not be sold, was not willing to understand/ adhere to the law, as he was doing as instructed by the other manager and offered item for a final price of $7.99.

I did not purchase the item for the higher price, based on principle.
