Gold's Gym review: Hendersonville Gold’s Gym

My name is Jason, and I have been a member of your gym for roughly 3 years. Always had issues with some of the staff and trainers even though I barely interacted with them. Extremely unprofessional, gossiping like school girls, and these were supposed to be grown men (trainers). I paid no mind and kept going. Just went to work out, always respectful regardless of their attitude towards me. I ended up moving to another state, and I noticed they were starting to charge me more and more frequently. So I called and asked them to cancel my membership. They were extremely rude, and refused to cancel it because it was labor day. I asked them to take down my information, and cancel it the following day. She became increasingly combative, when I was asking for explanations for charges. I hung up and called back today 9/20/23 at exactly 3p EST. I asked very respectfully to cancel my membership, and now she is saying that she cannot cancel unless I come into the gym. I no longer live anywhere near. And again, right off the bat, she was extremely combative. Never will I be a member of a golds gym again. Absolutely disgusting, and I will speak this truth to anyone who will listen. Believe me, they listen. (There was one lady that was always there, may have been the manager, short dirty blonde hair, mid to late 40’s, her name was something like Charity, or Destiny, somewhere along those lines. she was always extremely nice, respectful, and professional, and a couple others along with her. Because of these issues, i never felt comfortable even talking to the good ones, so I don’t remember their names. I want to say the trainers last name that would gossip with people he would train was maybe Wilkerson.
