Golden Corral I will never return again!!

Last night on Saturday May 12th I visited the Golden corral on gun barrel in Chattanooga Tennessee it was about 9:30 pm. I knew it was late and there was a big group of us so I entered the restaurant first to make sure that it would be okay for us to eat and that all food would be available before we all entered and I was assured yes. So, we all enter and tell the lady our drink order. We need 8 cokes. She tells me "Oh I was taking apart the soda machine" I apologized and told her sorry. So we proceeded to go find a place to sit and we were approached stating we can only sit in a certain section. Well there was only one large table and it was dirty. They acted like they didn't want to clean it off. I had to say excuse me we are a large group and we would like to sit together. So with an attitudes the guy proceeds to clean off the table. As we go to get our food a Spanish lady proceeds to put a steak and a piece of chicken on the grill for us and the grill operator tells her no he will not be cooking anymore. So we paid the price of the buffet with steak and grill foods but were not allowed to eat it. As I walk to the other end I realize that all of the salad and fruit bar was put up and we also were not able to eat that. So we make our plates with the available food
which was cold. As we are eating the manager approaches us and asks us if we are finished with hot food. We tell her No! So 5 minutes later she returns and asks me the same question again so even though we weren't finished eating at this point I was feeling uncomfortable and starting to feel like we weren't wanted there so I told her yes! So we scarf down the food on our plates and left. I asked before all of us eating if it was a problem that they closed in 30 minutes and if all the food would be available and I was assured yes and I asked because I was trying to avoid this. This was very bad customer service and I am really upset that I had to pay for food I couldn't even eat! They should have just told us that it was late and they were taking down the buffet! Instead I wasted $110 on food we barely got to eat!

Golden Corral good, service and cleanliness

Service was bad no napkins or utensils on the table table wasn't cleaned server never came back to refill drinks food was cold veggies were dried to the serving pans food on the floor a mess everywhere. Will never go there again or recommend it to anyone. Terrible service. Customer service wasn't very good. Couldn't find another person to help. Management wasn't around and no one knew where they were. No happy with the service of this place. Close it down. With 17 violations it should be closed.

Golden Corral product

Meats have gotten tough and tasteless smoked chicken terrible rotisserie chicken was good
Prime rib taste terrible was barbecued
Not good anymore
Don't plan on coming back
2nd time we found the taste unacceptable
At the price I can eat anywhere else

Manager could care less just nodded and walked away

Golden Corral Food counter worker

Romelia (sp?) Took a deviled egg from the salad bar and ate it with her plastic gloves on. After she noticed me watching her, she removed her plastic gloves and washed her hands. Later tongs fell off the breakfast food line . A customer handed Romelia the tongs. She laid them on the silver food prep table where another worker was preparing food.

I wish the complaint board would stop sending me emails to tell me that this is too short. Where is the complaint section to complain about the complaint board. I have explained the situation. I have also contacted the restaurants manager.

Golden Corral hair on plate

Sat down to eat food I took only a few bites noticed hair on my plate told the waitress she said sorry then I told mtg he said sorry but didn't even come look or give my money back we eat there all the time I am disappointed cause I didn't even eat after that I lost my appetite anyway I feel like they should have refunded my dinner if they r any kind of company they would have resolved it I feel they should send me a coupon for a free dinner cause that was my hard earned money

Golden Corral food and cleanliness

My husband and I and my grandson 8 at your restaurant in Burlington North Carolina Huffman Mill Road Saturday evening April 21st 2018 around 8 o clock in the evening. We paid $51.08 to eat there and as we proceeded to get our food let me tell you it was the nastiest looking food I ever saw the only thing fresh that they brought out while we were there was fried chicken the mashed potatoes Chinese food the Mexican food the barbecue they had pulled barbecue they were all dried up and nasty the salad bar was unacceptable it was disgusting looking. We ate there about 2 years ago and I swore would never go back there to eat because it was nasty then I said well let's go and the experience was worse than the other time so I won't be back. You really need to check on your restaurants because they are really nasty they don't change the food out they are not clean the kitchen was nasty you could see in the kitchen it was just nasty you're the people that were preparing a food were not pleasant at all they're just nasty I'm sorry you need to really check on your restaurants! The only good thing about that restaurant was our waiter he was very pleasant his name was Jorge. I had a 14 year old grandson with me and he hardly ate anything because it was just unacceptable summation mark it was store number 05576 Burlington North Carolina Huffman Mill Road

The Golden Corral in Charleston SC needs a good carpet cleaning it smelt like someone urinated on the carpet where we were sitting not a good scent while you are trying to eat The food and cleanliness was nowhere like the Golden Corral in Beaufort SC

Golden Corral food

Went there w 4 adults an 2 kids...food on buffet was cold an overcooked. Had been setting there for awhile. Ordered a steak an had to return it twice because meat was so tuff...chicken i got was pink in the middle an not cooked completely. .got no refill on drinks..ask for a manager an never seen one...bill was over 65.00..pd an left having a awful experience. .will not go back an we went there quiet often...customers lost because of bad service

Golden Corral poor customer service - golden corral, tara boulevard 8465 tara boulevard jonesboro, ga 30236

Our family went to Golden Corral in April 2018. Three out of four of our family members were hungry and were going to eat. One family member had just eaten and wanted to sit with the family, as families do at any restaurant. We were buying four drinks. We were told at the register that our one family member could not enter the restaurant without food purchased. We were told that the family member had to buy at least a to go meal in order to enter.

I am file this complaint because all restaurants allow a person to come in and be with their family member without a food purchase. We at least purchased a drink. This is poor customer service. Our family has been soliciting Golden Corral for as long as we can remember, moving into the community in 2008, for over 10 years! We will have to reconsider using this establishment in the future and will let others know.

Golden Corral cleanliness or lack of it

I have spoke with the management several times in the past then contacted the N.C. corp office several times with my complaint. The waitresses stack dirty dishes on a table and continue until several tables are covered with dirty dishes. I don't eat there any more because of the unsanitary conditions. I have even had a waitress get food from another table on my receipt when she wrote her name on it. I eat at a place next door to them on occasion and that place has a parking lot that faces Golden Corral. I went there today and when I parked I could see dirty dishes stacked on the table by the window higher than the window sill. I wonder if the public area is that dirty what does the kitchen look like

Golden Corral foodservice /management

Hi, My Name is Beverly Compton.. Me and my son Travis Compton 22 Yrs old ate at your establishment today for lunch about 1:06p. m. Do not normally go because it is so expensive to eat there but we wanted some real food today not junk. but that is what we got but just cost a whole lot more.. it cost me $25.72... to eat cold chicken hard rolls you could play drums with on the table and I did it for the waitress and she said sorry oh well that excuses it. after one today they still had breakfast out and that took up room for them to put any vegestables out there were none. the only thing I ate there was worth eating was the bannana pudding. even the apple pie was raw dough the apples were so hard you could not eat them I think they were still frozen. you see I am writing because I want a refund. I even spoke to the manager and guess what he did not care either. this is not right this ruined our whole day. for me and my son... me and my son actually left there hungry and that is not cool. my address is P. I do not know what else to say because what I really want to say is not christian that is what I am... my check # was 182562. my server was anita. she was very nice by the way.

Golden Corral employee attitude

Visited store #2507 on April 2.
The issue I encounter was the following- I asked the mgr on duty for fresh fish/chicken, he kindly made it a point to ask a staff member named Ablina to refresh the food. When he returned to the cooking station, Ablina was extremely disrespectful by criticizing him making several personal comments towards him speaking "espanol" .. to make matters worse when I used a napkin to use the tonsils and reached for the chicken she brought out, she also criticized me with her co-workers. I simply walked-away and immediately adived the mgr on duty of her unacceptable behavior. The mgr on duty has always been very courteous and professional, there was NO NEED for her to be so crude and mean!

Golden Corral gagging on a plastic bag scene a no management response

Was eating barbecue when a 2 and 1/2 in plastic bag scene got caught in my throat I was able to dislodge it clean it up and handed it to a waitress named Sarah but was wearing Darsey name tag cuz she forgot her and gave her my business card and told her to have the Management contact me as I was unable to eat anything at all after that incident nobody contacted me so then I tried contacting corporate three phone calls and still no return call I believe I'm entitled to a refund not only for my meal but for my hubby's meal because he was unable to enjoy it after that incident and for about 24 hours my throat was very irritated

Golden Corral complaint

On 2/22/2018 I wrote to Golden Coral but haven't heard back.

Today 2/25/2018 I called Golden Coral in Milford, CT since I received the form the manager Shawn told I was supposed to get and fill out but it came to realized the form he sent me is an "Incident Report" that he was supposed to fill out not me.

I called at 10:55am this morning was told he was not in until 12pm. I called back at 12:30pm left a message for Shawn never heard from him. I just called again at 6:50pm has been on hold for over 15 minutes waiting for him.

I called again was told he was to busy, this is the 3rd call and the 2nd message I left him today and as of 7:06pm he has not spoken to me. I was told he will be calling me before the end of tonight. We will see if he does.

I need this issue to be solve and would appreciate someone to get back to me.

Below you can find a copy of the letter I submitted back to Golden Coral in 2/22/2018. The incident took placed last Sunday, 2/18/2018 and I reported it on Monday, 2/19/2018 since we left the hospital after midnight on Sunday.

To Whom It May Concern:

On Sunday 2/18/2018 we visited the Golden Coral located in Milford, CT. To tell you the truth Golden Coral is one of our favorites restaurants but in this visit were are very disappointed.

The food was awful, salty, over cooked and dry just to mention few things. The place was dirty, the labels on the foods didn't match the foods under them, the soup station was awful dried and salty, the place was under and short of staff just to mention few of the things we saw.

We waited on line for over 20 minutes to find out there were plenty of empty tables and the person assigned to sit up people walked out because she was overwhelm. It was very sad seeing our waitress with one or two more waitress running around like a chicken with the head cut off since they were under staff, we have never seeing anything like that. She was not only the waitress, she was cleaning the tables etc., The bathroom didn't have toilet paper, there were not extra forks, knifes or spoons or plates to choose from.

I spoke to the manager about all of these but even the manager was over stress running around. On the ice cream station the gummie bears station was broken. I saw a kid putting her hands in it few times, that is unsanitary. Waiting for water, sugar, plates, utensils, paper towel etc., that never came in.

To top it all after leaving the restaurant my son and his girlfriend ended it in the emergency room with food poison.

I spoke to Shawn the manager on Monday and explained what took place. He is in the process on sending me papers to see if the restaurant pays for the ambulance and medical bills for my son and girlfriend since they got sick after eating there. They eat few things different that they eat and the doctor feels is what cause them to become sick.

I want to get back the $63.77 that we paid without the tip since the poor girl is not at fault. Besides paying the medical bills since eating at your restaurant cause them to get sick. The service, the food and the place was no worth it, we will never go there again.

I will wait to hear from someone about getting back to me in regards getting my money back for the $63.77 for now. Pending the medical bills.

Golden Corral rude customer service from hostess and manager

Went to Golden Corral spent 75 bucks for our family. It was busy they were seating people instead of letting people seat themselves which is understandable. However we didn't want the seat they tried to seat us at and I asked can we wait for the next available seat for our number of guests. The hostess huffed and puffed rolled her eyes and told us to move off to the side. She then proceeded to call other groups with our number of guests and seat them but bypassing us. I questioned her and she rudely stated "I told you it would take a while". Rolled her eyes and walked off. We spoke with the manager who was just as bad as the hostess and with no help from him we asked for our money back and left. This rudeness at this location has been the last few times we've gone and it makes me question even going back. Especially when you have managers who don't even care. Hostess name was Flor and manager was Chris.

Golden Corral service was horrible and disrespectful!

I visited one of your stores on 2/8/2018 @ 4:00pm. I asked the young man if he could put some smaller peices of fried chicken out. He told me with a smirk on his face, that it would take 15 minutes. He then walked to the back and told another young man that I asked for some chicken, that young man then said " where do she think she's at Burger King"? I asked Mr. Polk a young man I knew worked there, to tell the young man that I knew very well where I was and I can ask for anything I please when I spend my money. The manger came over to me and asked to pay for my food and I told him No! I wasn't looking for a free meal. The manger never went to the back to talk to the young man or ANYTHING, he just saw a mad black woman and figured I would be okay with a "FREE MEAL" I am not your common Black Woman I give respect and I demand it back! If I wanted to go to Burger king then I would have gone there! That employee was rude and disrespectful. This was a place I frequently visited but today was the last day! Will not return!

Golden Corral customer service is atrocious

I've been to my local golden corral a few times in the last couple months and I've noticed a few things in a couple places that are quite horrible in a business like golden corral where I would assume your employee to employee respect and integrity should be up to par, if not exceeding. I have noticed on many occasions that most of the staff have no issue arguing or getting generally nasty with each other in plain view of all customers. Its uncomfortable. The Farmington, NM Golden Corral would be better off closing than see anymore business in my city. I strongly feel that even with a new general manager your store is long past a point of return. I would not recommend anybody go to eat a simple salad there for the actual fear of seeing yet another disrespectful dispute between a night crew runner such a Lisa arguing with a manager on shift. Or witnessing a great server, who is very clearly pregnant, fired by manager named Mike sending a server/ manager in training instead of being respectful and doing the deed himself. All in all I find Golden Corral to be absolutely revolting to be in or near and I will do my best in this small city to make sure everyone knows this.

Golden Corral no brunch on sundays??? only breakfast until 11

Having a brunch on Sundays and Rosie are priced at 1599 for lunch it's just a money making scheme and it's wrong to do to anybody that wants to go to Golden corral on a Sunday for brunch I think you should reconsider cutting your breakfast off at 11 on Sundays and extending until at least 1 o'clock when every normal American would expect to have lunch until please reconsider your policy took my whole family to Sunday brunch today at Golden corral and was disappointed to have to turn around

Tried to go to Golden corral today brunch..
Happens to be that they close breakfast down at 11 and don't extend brunch to 1 o'clock what a money making scheme since they charge 1599 and don't have any breakfast food.
Certain I'm not the first person to complain saying that that there was a bunch of people in the parking lot saying the same thing I was
Company should we think it's policy and or just be swept under the rug like every other failure of a restaurant.
I've been going to Golden corral for 10 years now it's really too bad they're trying to take advantage of all the customers this way
My whole family there we all had to turn around and go to waffle house what a shame

Golden Corral employee

My name is lisa I went to the Burlington golden corral me and my husband after we just had a bad snow storm yesterday. All I wanted was to get out the house and I called around and they were the only restraunt that was open that I love going to. Me and my husband was greeted by a Wonderful server denise. I always go to the salad bar to first before I get anything. As I approached the bar there was a Caucasian lady ( employee) at the bar talking to another guest about the weather as their conversation ended I asked her did she have any fresh tomatoes. Her reply was waiting a second. She comes back out with them and slams them in the container on the bar. I got my tomatoes and finished dressing my salad and walked back down to my table to try to enjoy my salad. My husband was still in line at the bar. He finally finishes and comes to sit down with me. Well the lady at the bar didn't know he was with me. She was talking about me to another employee. Saying I should have took my a** to walmart across the street for some fresh tomatoes. She also said I don't see why these [censor] people want to come out in this weather knowing its going to [censor] freeze Crazy a** people Now what way is that to talk about anyone. I was ready to go at that point me and my husband. I was trying to speak with the manager bill but he was on the phone so me and my husband left and went home. I didn't even finish my meal. I don't see how you all have rude employees like her working for you all. I will never return to this golden corral I will travel to Greensboro from here on out.

Golden Corral abusive manager

Hello i am a worker at golden corral at lake elsinore CA. I want to report a manager name Grey (I do not know his last name) for being abusive over his power and mistreating employed at the resteruant. I want someone from golden corral corrporation to call me and help me what to do. I was hire on Janurary 10, 2018 and had five days of work i am only 19 with some exprience in working at a resteraunt. Please help me here is my e-mail

Golden Corral aberdeen md owner is very racist.

I would always go to golden corral in Aberdeen but now I stopped going due to the owner prejudices and a server who ignored refilling my drinks on three occasions. I told her that she was very racist and unprofessional
I actually gave a tip to the other white waitress who I had to call on to refill my drinks. I asked to speak to the owner only yo have a white assistant manager tell me that I complain to much and I am no longer welcomed. My name is Hadassah Israel and sometimes the food during lunch time is not cooked well. I have seen red blood come out of chicken and I told the assistant manager and he refunded my money and told me with a cold racist slur that my black skin was not welcomed. I am praying that the owner of Aberdeen be fined and that he will no longer work at this location. Oh. He hired only white waitress too. Go in the store for yourself and look at the employment divide. You may see one or two black faces but Latinos and other ethnic workers are very few. The owner is very unfriendly. Unapproachable and uncaring. You really need to check behind the Aberdeen MD Golden Corral. I was offended. I felt horrible and I have experienced poor service along with over six months of racism
Please get rid off this owner. He clearly does not no the word called Freedom and accountability. This owner is very racist. He represents your store. Is that how you want your customers to he treated with disrespect. I am disgusted. Very disappointed too.

If everything was so crappy and they were racist there then why did you keep going back over the course of 6 months? Most people wouldn't return after the 1st time let alone multiple times over a 6 month period. I am sure it was the same owner from the beginning, probably same management as well. Not sure if you feel entitled to something or just love to complain. I personally wouldn't return to the same place I felt unwelcome the first time. It is obviously wrong if a business actually treats their customers like that but you also kept returning which makes me believe something isn't adding up here.
