I have never encountered such hatefulness, lack of compassion, and ebarassment in all my life as I did this afternoon shopping at this store. As a disabled veteran mobility is already a serious burden on me. The lines at this Giant store were absolutely terrible. So much so I used the self checkout which was a little shorter. While checking myself out one of your employees shouted at me that I had too many items and came over to my cart and proceeded to count the items in my basket and the items I have already scanned. She then yelled at me that I had four items over twenty and would have to put four of them back. All the other customers were looking and wondering why she was making such a big deal about four items including myself. I told her that I would only scan twenty and put the four back as she requested. She then told me no and that I could get out of line now and go to the other line or decide on the four items I would not be purchasing. I picked four items and gave them to her. By this time, it took more time going through this than just allowing me to purchase the four items and be on my way. I have never experienced anything like this and no one should ever have to endure what I had to endure this afternoon. I will never shop again at this location and no one in the community should as well. Learn how to treat your customers better.
