Giant Food / Giant of Maryland review: Rude service. Cashier smashed groceries.

Once a week I take my elderly grandfather to the Giant on Merrit Blvd. On 9/28/2023 the cashier Donna was extremely out of line and very rude. I always help bag both of our carts after the cashier is finished bagging to help the process go smoother. I politely asked Donna if she could hand me the bags. She replied with I can't move my arm that way. I replied with no worries I understand. Can you turn the bag holder so I can load them. Donna then snapped at me saying that she has the bag holder locked for her safety. Then she started to smash our groceries and slam the bag on the bag spinner. Then I told her do not smash our groceries. At this point the front of the house Manager is approaching us. I relate to the manager what happened as Donna was Interrupting the whole time. Then as the manager finishes the transaction. I can hear Donna talking about me and my grandfather to the person behind us as if we were the problem. Telling her that some people have bad days. This is a grown woman acting like a child and poorly portraying your company. I come in there once a week and I absolutely love all the employees. Annabel the cashier is awesome, and Sean the deli guy is awesome as well! And Keith is my main homie always asking me if I found my gluten free food. Donna is 100% not part of the awesome vibes there, not to mention I had to come back on the same day because she charged us twice for something.
