I bought a frigidaire side by side refrigerator less than a year ago. I trully felt frigidaire was a good product, so much so that I also bought a freezer 6 months before that and a dishwasher 8 months ago. I awoke one morning to fing my refrigerator quit working, water everywhere food spoiled one day before a large party!! Called customer service and took three times of service tech not showing up to tell me nothing is wrong. A day later freezer dies, more spoiled food(lots of money in one week) And my dishwasher always get stuck in wash cycle. Im very disappointed, escpecially when I contact customer service, and felt like I was interrupting her from something more important. The call to customer service was the most disappointing. Please dont waste your money

I bought a Frigidaire Model LGUB2642LF2 refrigerator around 2010. The upper ice maker stopped working 6 months after the warranty expired. The ice maker kit is JBND-26. According to the repair man, this was their first attempt to put a commercial type system in a home refrigerator. It was an abysmal failure and they knew it but, they just kept selling them. He said that even Frigidaire didn't know how to fix them because the design was so bad. Since the upper chiller still worked, for 2 years I just filled the upper bin from the lower ice maker so that I could dispense ice through the door. Last week the upper chiller quit which caused me to call the repair man. He said that the ice maker was not repairable and that it would cost $1000 to replace. He also said that he would not install it because the design and quality was so poor that he couldn't guarantee any longevity. So now I'm screwed. I have an $1800 high-end refrigerator which won't dispense ice through the door. What a piece of junk! Frigidaire knows that they were selling junk and they don't care. I'll never buy another Frigidaire product again and I'll tell friends and family the same.

I remodeled our kitchen four years ago and purchased all Frigidaire appliances. Stainless Steel dish washer, microwave, stove and refrigerator. I thought I was buying quality products. We spent thousands of dollars on these appliances and after only four years we have had problems with all but the stove. One year warranty and your out of luck. Don’t even bother trying to call customer service for support. Stay away from Frigidaire their junk!

I do factory service on all Brands. You can't judge an entire company on your Appliance Failure. Actually when it boils down to it. Electrolux/Frigidaire has the best customer service. They work with customers better than the other Major Manufactures.

I bought a New GMC and the water pump when out after a few months. I suppose if I was you, then I would believe that a GMC is the worse vehicle to buy, right?

How long did you have your stove before the stove top cracked? I'm sure it didn't break itself.

And the customer with the dishwasher issue. Check your water temperature entering the dishwasher. If the temperature isn't warm enough, the dishwasher will pause and attempt to heat the water to the proper temperature to advance the timer. -Try running it with the high temperature options off and see if that makes a difference. If so, turn up your hot water tank. Also run the dishwasher when it's full, not with one or two dishes.

I just read comments because I am thinking about getting a Frigidaire refrigerator and dishwasher. I cann't believe that all 3 his appliances failed in the same months. Everyone has a lemon, but come on. I have had a Frigidaire Freezer (Model # MFU14M2GW0) since 5/25/-00. It is opened almost daily and I haven't had any problems. That's over 8 years.
