I am a Senior Fraud Victim Advocate with Fraudaid.org , first of all what you have experienced is what we call a Fake Lottery Scam. It is designed for one purpose only and that is to get innocent and unsuspecting people involved in the fantasy of winning a ton of money. They use this scam to do one of two things:
Launder money by sending you a check with your winnings letter and instructing you to depsosit the check and send off a portion of it to pay so called fees and taxes to free up your winnings OR for the purpose of getting you to pay advanced fees to gain access to your winnings. Here are the cold hard facts:
1. If you did not purchase a lottery ticket , you could not have won that lottery. Why? Lotteries only exist on the money gained through the sale of tickets. The money they get from people purchasing tickets IS the money or at least a portion of that money that is dished out in winnings.
2. IF you have gotten a surprise winning notification and a check from a lottery company you had better verify that the lottery is real and that the check was indeed issued to you by the " Account Holder". Most likely that check is Counterfeit and you can wind up in a heap of trouble either with your bank or legally if you cash it.
NEVER EVER send money to anyone you do not know via services like Western Union, Money Gram etc based on a sales pitch or promise. Those services are widely used to scam people out of hard earned money. Why? Simply put... once that money is sent and picked up at the other end there is NO way to retrieve it or to recover your losses.

its me joel again.i have just received another message flashing on my screen that i have won.the funny thing with these freelotto guys is that they keep on nagging people with scams or an't they?the flashing message cant be avoided till u click on it!do they get paid by google or any other association for every message clicked on or what?help!something needs to be done fast.
i have also been receiving e mails from the freelotto guys that i have won $1oooooo, $300 and $50 since last year.the funny is that they give you a deadline to reply and yet even after the deadline is over they still nag you.is this thing for true? and if it is why can't they send one the money and cut off the money that they want me to send to them from what i have won?!

Well i am also receiving same emails and i today i like to apply for paid registration but second thought i try to search Internet first about authenticity of this site, and after reading a lots of blogs and forum i found they are fraud and they not letting you win!
i dont have a bank account so why cant you send the money through money transfare since i gat the pass code & the pin cord.i need a argent reply.
I am from the Philippines, and i have also received an email message stated that I won $1Million. The Freelotto.com has been sending me couple of messages since April. I'm confused about this conspiracy, I even gave them my information, about my email add, and personal identity. It tired me once, but still trying, but I haven't gave them my credit number or I haven't yet paid any bills for claiming my prize.
To those people who have received or informed about this Freelotto thing, please comment or help find justice if this is really a scam.

I also thought it was B.S. but read the congradulatory email carefully. It says you have won UPON submission of the correct numbers. I always had checked the results and did not match the numbers completely. so how could i have won? I did not..cuz it says UPON submission of correct numbers. beware of signing up for FAST play..once they have your card number its tough to get off it. and..no phone number to contact them?

If you are getting email after relentless email, do what I did. I created a filter so that all emails with the words freelotto gets forwarded to:

So now I don't get emails from them because as soon as one is sent to me, it gets forwarded to the emails above instead. If everyone created filters like this, they would be overwhelmed and would have to close those email accounts and hopefully the website too.

Last april 9, 2008, i did a very stupid thing while i was surfing the internet. A message flashed across the screen informing me that i was the 200 billion something user of the internet and that i was to click the link to claim my prize. It was from freelotto.com. Now i keep receiving this message that i have a pending unclaimed winnings of US 1 million and US $300 which i did not claim. I surfed the net a nd found out that other people thrughout the world were receiving the same e-mail messages. And it's a nuisance because they keep on sending these e-mail. Now that i know it's a scam, i am even afraid to click the link that says i can unsubscribe. I do not wish to play the lotto and this letter is by way of a disclaimer and i don't want to subscribe. I haven't provided them any credit card info and i hope they back off.
