Fox Rent A Car review: Extra optional charges not requested

On 4/10/2026, I picked up a 1 week pre-paid rental vehicle at the Las Vegas NV airport location. I provided proof of insurance and was able to waive additional liability protection. I did not wish to purchase a loss damage waiver for $216.93. I was told that it was required. I later discovered that Nevada state law still prohibits rental agencies from requiring a waiver of damages or other optional services as a condition for rental. I brought this to the attention of customer service. They aplogized, but said there was nothing that could be done.
